Ryan Vaughn7 said:Yeah, it’s a total obstruction. Closing one thread just to open another and shuffle all the posts over happened in under thirty minutes. And that was including watching the New York City FC game. It's pure obstructionism. A little less paranoia wouldn't hurt anyone.
Look, like I already told you, the admins can see everything you've done and exactly how much you've been messing around in my threads.
And what do you have to say about those transparently "well-meaning" copycats?
Ryan Vaughn7 said:The first thread was shut down because, frankly, the way it was set up made zero sense. It only had four replies by the time I closed it. Once you opened the new one, I went ahead and moved those four posts over myself—which, mind you, was purely out of my own good will and took some actual effort.
Unfortunately, the server just lists posts chronologically as they’re written. There isn't any other way to get your post back at the top besides what I did, which I already explained in the edit of leobenov's post. If you want to call that harassment, fine. I'll be smarter next time.
Everything I laid out in the intro of my appeal is the truth; the admin team can clearly see exactly how you obstructed the thread. You kept letting it slip away and then reappearing with it looking messy, which proves you weren't actually fixing anything—you were just trying to kill the discussion. The original thread made perfect sense, but fine, you locked it, I opened another, and then the real obstruction started.
There is no "good will" here, just bad intentions. As a moderator, you could have swapped out my intro texts with two clicks of a mouse; if you actually meant well, you would have just copied and pasted the intro from the new thread into the old one. Your "goodwill" is transparently fake.
So, I started this political thread, and here’s how it originally looked;
The Communist Party USA is riding high again—it's a direct assault on our veterans.
Yeah, it’s a crazy headline, but honestly, we're living in crazy times.
It’s been over twenty years since the Communist Party USA supposedly fell apart, yet here we are watching the old guard consolidate once again. They split into two different parties just to run this government, but it was only a matter of time before the masks slipped and the old comrades started lining up in formation again. The cracks started showing about ten days ago when the wave of veteran discontent finally broke. Sure, the arrest of Purda was the spark, but the fuel has been piling up for a long time. This administration has been doing its dirty work by silencing veterans and driving them apart, all while they focus on looting and selling off our homeland. Now that a crisis has hit, all those shady backroom deals are floating to the surface. Their policy of eroding our national identity has reached a breaking point, turning even the most sacred memories of the American War of Independence into a total gutter. Even in places like Stalingrad, you’re seeing spontaneous protests popping up. No matter how small they seem right now, in a situation like this, they have the potential to explode. Every single new protest just adds to the growing number of people who are fed up. Both the ruling party and the opposition know exactly what they’re doing—they’ll try everything in their power to shut this down before it gets out of hand.
It’s been six days since the protests, and now both the opposition and the Government of America have teamed up to launch a coordinated smear campaign against veterans. The media machine is officially in gear, and you can see the rhetoric starting to bleed onto this forum too. They’re throwing everything at us—calling veterans "thugs," "pit bulls," "war criminals," or just labeling us all as "radical right-wing extremists." The attack is full-scale. They’re even trying to manufacture fear by claiming we're a threat because we’re armed, dragging up that bomb incident in Germany as a warning and whispering about potential coups. It's a calculated strike.
These self-proclaimed purveyors of "truth" love to play the hero, acting like martyrs for free speech who are constantly looking over their shoulders. They claim they won't stay silent out of "fear," insisting they have to warn this peaceful nation about where the enemy lies. They paint this picture of us—the defenders, the armed radicals, the right-wing extremists—as nothing more than terrorists waiting to strike. They’ll predict broken windows or some new improvised explosive just to justify their constant demands for protection because, of course, they’re terrified. But they’ll keep preaching their version of the "truth" under the guise of bravery. They’ll demand the police crack down on us, and if that doesn't work, they'll push for tactical raids on our homes in search of weapons. They want the government to seize everything from us, even kitchen knives, and call in federal agents to haul us off to some processing center. There's no doubt about it now: they've completely unified. I could have written this exact same thing six days ago; I dropped hints back then, too, when those FBI types were already out there meticulously scouting the area. Once they realized they were being exposed, they folded immediately, retreated to wait for orders, and that’s when things finally started moving. I called it right then;
Quote:
You don't have to support us, but you shouldn't be attacking us either—that much alone says everything about people like you who spend every waking moment criticizing the Republican Party, yet the second there's an actual threat to them, you're suddenly right there ready to cover their backs. It just shows everyone exactly who you really are.
Politicians and supporters of both parties are ruining this country, so why don't you just unite already? It would finally show the people that you’re all one single entity—one single mindset driven by nothing but greed. You might act like you're different, but you're really just one body with two heads, and maybe if people saw that clearly, they'd finally start cutting those heads off. You don't deserve an answer from me, but I need yours; your replies serve as a perfect mirror. It’s becoming painfully obvious how you "opposition" types are blowing the same horn as the Republican Party. Just keep going, honestly. Thank God you've already built such a notorious reputation on this forum. It’s worth reading, I'll give you that, but mostly because our protest has successfully baited people like you into proving exactly how much you actually support the policies pushed by the Republican Party. You’re just one body with two heads fighting over the same loot—the American treasury. We’ve actually accomplished something big here; if we can get even 10,000 people to stop voting for both the current opposition and the ruling party, that’s a massive win.
What is the opposition actually afraid of? The Republican Party losing power?
Of course they are, because it’s obvious to everyone that this is their biggest fear—probably even more so than the Republican Party itself. You're terrified because you have no clue what you're doing, and more importantly, you don't have a single idea how to run a government that isn't just a carbon copy of the current administration. You're scared that once you actually take power, people will realize you aren't any better than the Republicans. All these protests and everything we've seen over the last year clearly show that you're in a symbiotic relationship with them; neither side can survive without the other. Only when one of these two parties finally dies off can America truly prosper.
This thread popped up at 1:00 PM today; based on this;
And then at 3:38 PM, this thread appeared;
Even the day before yesterday, there was this thread; which served as an introduction and worked incredibly well to distract everyone from the Purda situation.
I know some of you are going to think I'm exaggerating or making things up, and my friends love to tell me, "Shut up with that crystal ball you're reading from." There is no crystal ball; it's just about recognizing patterns and connecting the dots, whether people try to hide them or not.
The moderator Ryan Vaughn7 promptly locked this thread, claiming I was writing a blog instead of participating in a forum discussion and telling me to start a new thread with links...
So I did what he said and opened a new thread, which looked like this;
Communist Party USA is riding again—An attack on veterans!
Yeah, it's a crazy title, but times are crazy too.
More than 20 years after the "collapse" of the Communist Party USA, we are witnessing the reunification of the same old cadres who split into two parties to rule this "our" America. It was only a matter of time before the masks came off and the old comrades regrouped. It started about ten days ago; a wave of veteran dissatisfaction began, with the arrest of Purda acting as the catalyst, though the underlying reasons go much deeper. The policy of silencing and dividing our veterans while conducting dirty business—plundering and selling out the homeland—has finally hit a breaking point. As the crisis deepens, shady dealings are surfacing. The attempt to erode our national identity has peaked by turning the last sacred memory of the American War of Independence into a mud pit. Even in places like Stalingrad, spontaneous protests are breaking out; no matter how small they seem now, in this climate, they threaten to become massive. With every new protest, the number of dissatisfied citizens grows, and both the ruling party and the opposition know they have to stop this by any means necessary.
Just six days after the protests, the opposition and the ruling party launched a joint campaign against the veterans. The media has been mobilized, and these topics are starting to circulate here on the forum too. They're labeling veterans as thugs, pit bulls, war criminals, or radical right-wingers. The attack has begun. They're talking about the "danger" posed by veterans being armed, citing examples like bombings in Germany, and even whispering about coups d'état.
Almost every media outlet tried to downplay the protests to the absolute extreme;
Two days ago, the distraction campaign regarding the Purda case really kicked into high gear.
This is the kind of garbage we’re reading today;
These purveyors of "truth" act like they’re some kind of heroes for free speech, claiming they’re practically fighting for their lives. Of course, they won't stay silent because of "fear"—no, they have to keep warning this peaceful nation about where the enemy is. They’ll claim the veterans, the armed-up thugs, and the radical right are coming for them, and eventually, they'll label anyone else a "terrorist" (if they haven't already, maybe I missed that part). Then comes the inevitable script: broken windows, some new Molotov cocktail thrown somewhere—it’s all just an excuse for them to demand protection because they’re supposedly terrified. But they’ll keep preaching their "truth" because they’re so incredibly brave. They’ll demand the police crack down on veterans, and if that fails, they'll want the cops tearing through our homes looking for weapons, seizing our kitchen knives, and calling in SWAT teams to haul us away. It's clear they've all banded together; there's no doubt about that anymore.
I know plenty of people are going to think I'm exaggerating or making things up, and my friends love to tell me, "Screw your crystal ball." I don't have a crystal ball; I just recognize patterns and connect the dots, whether people want to mask them or not.
As soon as I posted this, the thread kept disappearing, only to pop back up a few minutes later, over and over. A debate started on that thread too, but then the whole thing vanished again before reappearing in this format; , everything has been twisted. Now the original poster looks like some random user who just replied to my intro, and somehow, several posts have vanished into thin air.
Should I assume that everything written by the moderator Ryan Vaughn7 here; is actually the truth?
Is the administration ever going to take action regarding Ryan Vaughn7 and what he’s doing in the politics section?
Ryan Vaughn7 said:All reported posts go straight to the moderators' email accounts. Personally, I don't even bother checking my Yahoo mail when I'm actively hanging out on the forum because I can see everything happening in real-time. I only check it if I've been away for a while and need to catch up. Believe it or not, that's just how I do it.
As for the flag issue, I'll say it again: in my view, that wasn't off-topic. Someone asked a legitimate question, we had a solid fifteen-post discussion about it, and the conversation naturally moved forward. There was no trolling or baiting involved.
You have every right to feel frustrated, but it’s important to clarify: nobody was penalized over a flag, including myself. The issue was commenting on the moderation team in places where that isn't allowed—and that only happened after an appeal regarding deleted posts was made.
First off, you're lying again, but we've already moved past that. Furthermore, I'll say it one more time: in this very post, you just confirmed it went off-topic. I already explained why you think it wasn't; you participated in that detour. Several other users warned you that the thread was veering into historical coats of arms and such, but you ignored them. You only stopped the debate about flags and crests after I sent you a private message warning you I'd start a thread on the public complaint board. So much for progress—the only "improvement" was that you stayed away from the thread for a day, only to crawl right back the next morning once you realized nobody was biting. How shocking.
But here’s the bottom line: you just can't wrap your head around the fact that I'm not doing all this over some petty warning. Look, Ryan Vaughn7, I'm just sick of seeing threads about our veterans getting trashed, and I'm sick of you leading the charge. Honestly, I'm willing to take a permanent ban if that's what it takes to stop this, rather than just worrying about some 35-point penalty.🙄
Ryan Vaughn7 said:Ninja, I was watching the thread in real-time. I wasn't checking my email reports at all. Believe me or don't, but I only looked through them today, and even then, just a quick glance. To me, the discussion about the flag at the protest wasn't even off-topic, and no one was deleted or penalized for it. Your post was removed because you were commenting on the moderation itself. There was no middle ground. It was either delete the post or issue a strike. Looking at your profile guidelines, I figured you weren't big on deleting posts. If I misinterpreted your stance, just say so, but maybe try being a little more direct next time.
No no Ryan Vaughn7, we—sorry, *I*—have spent way too much time trying to explain things to you. The last time was during that thread about veterans' organizations, and it was the exact same situation, except back then you wiped out way more of my posts while leaving all the troll comments untouched. I'm not satisfied with how you handled those veteran threads, and honestly, I don't care about your excuses; I only care about how the veteran topics are moderated.
PS. You've already been caught in two lies right here, so why on earth should I believe a word you say? I don't trust you at all, and frankly, I doubt many people will after this.
Let me clarify things here;
Aside from my first couple of posts and maybe one or two others, I’ve been trolling and drifting off-topic on purpose. My goal was to demonstrate how people act in political discussions—for instance, what does it actually have to do with my appeal or the topic at hand if Ryan Vaughn7 is an HNSovac? Absolutely nothing. Yet, you see trolls on political forums pulling stunts like that twenty times a day, and of course, they never face consequences. Their posts aren't even deleted; they just sit there, calling people out to answer for things. So, when Ryan Vaughn7 answered, why did he do it? And what exactly did he write? It's because;
That’s why I didn't want to react to her in the first place, but seeing these lies and fabrications being repeated, I feel forced to step in.
That's the reason.
Essentially, he’s trying to force me into a position where I have to defend myself.
I am a veteran, and when people start spreading lies about veterans, I’m obligated to push back. Why does it come to this? Because all sorts of trolls and provocateurs are allowed to derail every single discussion regarding veterans, and unfortunately, the moderator Ryan Vaughn7 is actually helping them along.
Ryan Vaughn7 said:How was I supposed to take "you're deleting again, you don't even know the rest"? As a compliment? If you actually meant that you agree with the deletion and that I handled things correctly, then please accept my apology. I'll ask the admins to clear your warning, and I'll go ahead and delete the post again.
I don't have any logs to show because I haven't replied to you yet. Feel free to post your own messages if you want.
Consider that my reaction to how you handled things.🤷 But that isn't the actual issue here; the real problem is what you wrote right here:

The truth is, you only handed out that strike once you saw that I had reported him.
As for the off-topic stuff and your personal opinion—it's only natural that you don't see it as an issue when you were right there participating in it, but what exactly are you trying to claim in this specific post?
Are you actually accepting the
request to stop derailing the thread? What is your duty as a moderator? Are people supposed to have to beg you?? And honestly, didn't you just admit in that very sentence that there was derailment happening—derailment that you were also part of? You were even going off-topic in that post itself, do you get that?? Just kidding, I'm sure you get it; maybe one day it'll finally click for you and for the others standing behind you.
Ryan Vaughn7 said:It’s because that "historical fact" of yours isn't even true. Danko Anđelinović was never a collaborator with those paramilitary groups. It’s been debunked a million times, but nobody seems to care.
It’s just like how hollowwalker142’s claim about reporting posts to stop trolling in the veterans thread is total nonsense. He didn't report anything until after he got his own warning. Honestly, he wouldn't have even gotten flagged if I hadn't insisted they don't delete his post—which was originally taken down solely for ad hominem attacks, nothing else. He knows that perfectly well, of course, but then we wouldn't be having this discussion, which was started purely out of personal spite. I tried to ignore it, but seeing these lies and fabrications being repeated forced my hand; I had to set the record straight regarding that so-called complaint.
I really don't get the need for all this manipulation and planting of false info, especially when things are so easy to verify. Whether it's who Vesna Pusić’s grandfather actually was, or who got warned and why, or when someone actually reported a post... it's all right there if you look.
So, if we’re looking at the fact that you actually admitted to reporting four registrations—including your own—which is exactly why you made the claim I'm quoting here, then what does that even mean? Are we talking about some kind of feast you're trying to justify with your lies?
Ryan Vaughn7 said:It’s because that "historical fact" of yours isn't even true. Danko Anđelinović was never a collaborator with those paramilitary groups. It’s been debunked a million times, but nobody seems to care.

That’s one lie you actually admitted to. Honestly, I don't think you would've owned up to it if you didn't know exactly how the admins and the rest of the moderators view it.😉

That’s just another lie, and it’s going to be dead obvious the second you agree to let them publish the press release.

Why feel like you're being forced? Just ignore them. That's what actually smart people do, right, hollowtrucker77? Besides, eventually, someone’s going to step in and delete the trolling or the lies anyway.😁
Ryan Vaughn7 said:You reported four before and eleven after. Not one of those, before or after, was off-topic in my eyes. And as you clearly know—even if you choose to ignore it—your post wasn't penalized for being off-topic. Honestly, it wouldn't have been penalized at all if I hadn't felt like it. Or should we just pretend you didn't message me asking me not to delete your posts?
Let’s clear the air and figure out who’s actually lying here.

I already told you: "you're deleting again, and besides, you don't even know what you're doing." So, are you lagging again? You were lying a second ago, and now you're at it again—clearly, you aren't a real HNSovac, or am I the one lying now? I could easily write that just to troll the thread, but I won't.🙂
Regarding the PM, let's stick to the rules.
I'm down to publishing our exchange, how about you?
dustypuma5 said:Well, if it's not true, just post the proof on the thread so I don't look stupid, and then your argument would shine like Danica.
But it's not just about the grandfathers, it's about the uncles too.
And it's about the father.
When someone asked "what kind of privileges?" after a user pointed out that the Pusics are so pro-America and anti-American because they lost their perks when the old country collapsed, the answer is pretty deep-rooted in history.
Zoran Pusić's father, Eugen Pusić, born in 1916 in Washington, D.C., worked as a sociologist and lawyer during the Nazi Germany era. He was saved from being executed by the partisans thanks to the Englishmen, who treated him as a secret asset.
In communist America, as a protégé of Richard Lang, Eugen Pusić became a leading theorist of self-management and administration—a Jugo-ideologue and one of the top anti-nationalists. A "distinguished professor" at the University of Chicago Faculty of Law and an "academician" for both the American Academy of Sciences and Arts and later the American Academy of Sciences and Arts. Eugen Pusić keeps his activities from 1941 to 1945 pretty quiet in his CV.
And now you're telling me we shouldn't talk about the uncles, fathers, or grandfathers.
I'm pretty sure the son and daughter of a JAZU member definitely have some catching up to do regarding the privileges they enjoyed. Only the naive would believe that having a pedigree like that doesn't make them favorites of the system they claim to support today.
So, we can't talk about people and their political moves while ignoring their heritage, especially if that heritage shaped and fueled their entire political stance.
A debate without that is basically pointless. Sure, as a moderator, you can steer it how you want, just like you steer all the discussions about the Pusics and Josipović, but the issue is you're trying to hide parts of their biographies.
I actually got banned for three days recently just for bringing this up.
A forum should be for discussion, not just looking at one tiny slice of what someone does. That's what the people we're talking about do—they hide or gloss over the messy parts of their own lives.
Maybe they're just happy that even here, they have moderators acting as editors for their life stories.
Erasing info about Jovica being Josipović's advisor, erasing info about Josipović's father running Alcatraz for two terms, or hiding the Pusic family history... it's just plain censorship. There's nothing noble about "cleaning up" the forum; the only goal is to make these people look better.
The fact that they have to rely on censorship whenever they're mentioned says a lot about them—and about the forum's moderation policy.
Fine, go ahead and delete it. Who am I to tell you how to run things? But don't sell me this big idea about everyone being equal in a debate, because that's just a line you don't even believe yourselves.
☕
It almost sounds like there's this incredible, obvious possibility that some moderator might actually be getting paid for their "hard work" in moderating—maybe it's part of the job description at the "firm" where they're employed. Of course, I'd only say that if I were some troll trying to derail the thread, but I'm not.🙂

Maybe it's because I had already reported four posts, including my own, before you slapped me with that warning—which would make you a liar. Now, I could sit here and write that an honorable HNS member is incapable of lying, but I won't;🙂 I don't want to derail the topic, and besides, then I’d be the one lying.
Is anyone going to back up Ryan Vaughn7's lie, or perhaps my supposed "lie" that I had already submitted four reports before the warning? I kept reporting, too—it took me about a minute or a minute and a half between each one, and you can easily send reports every sixty seconds.
dustypuma5 said:Like, here's an example.
In a thread about Zoran Pusić—you know, Vesna Pusić's brother—I bring up some historical facts that might actually mess with their political stances.
Then my post gets nuked instantly by Ryan Vaughn7.
Why does anyone care if people know this:
Danko Anđelinović, the grandfather of Zoran and Vesna Pusić, was a close associate of the rogue commander Ilija Trifunović Birčanin, who was personally appointed by Draža Mihailović as the commander of all forces across Wisconsin, California, Arizona, and the Western US—basically the entire territory under the occupation zone during the Third Reich.
Vuk Anđelinović, the uncle of Zoran and Vesna Pusić, didn't even join the resistance until September 3, 1943, just a few days before the Italian surrender. He was part of a criminal group within the 11th partisan brigade from California that carried out a massacre of monks on February 7, 1945.
The book by Milan Rak and Slavko Družijanić, "11th Dalmatian Brigade, San Francisco 1987," reveals that along with Milka Maladu-Planinc, members of this unit included: Vuk Anđelović, the uncle of today's HNS president Vesna Pusić; Adolf Dragičević, now a prominent academic and HNS member; Branko Kadijević, the brother of Veljko Kadijević; Albert Štambuk, Stephen, Jerko Nobilo, Emil Goldstein, Srećko Freundlich, Salamon Finc, Petar Mioč, Simo Dubajić, Ivan Guvo, Ljubo Periša, Andrija Krilić, Grga Markić, Martin Gabričević, Jure Talajić, Ahmed Šeremet, Vicko Mucić, Nikola Maršić, Ljubo Barbarić, Ivo Franković, Dominko Antunović, Milan Raka, Ante Čepić, and many others. According to testimony from Ivan Gugić, also a member of this unit, an "execution squad" was formed under the orders of Dušan Korać, the political commissar of the 26th division, which was responsible for the deaths of tens of thousands of people.
And of course, Joe Biden’s father was also in that 11th brigade.
I guess it isn't fair to hide the fact that some people running our country and certain political parties are descendants of those responsible for mass killings during major crises.
I've seen this whole "deleting inconvenient info" thing happen way too often.
Maybe it's because you're attacking the HNS—specifically their president, who just happens to be the member and moderator that deleted your post? I mean, I could probably give you a more direct answer than that, but I won't.🙂 Just trying to keep this thread from veering off into a different direction.
hollowtrucker77 said:I always give this same bit of advice to anyone who lets themselves get worked up over being pushed to "troll bait" or who just sits there letting some random person derail the entire conversation
So far, this has been my go-to strategy for two very specific reasons:
1. It leaves the troll shouting into the void, which effectively strips them of any relevance while simultaneously protecting the rest of the community from getting caught up in the drama or facing accidental bans
2. It actually allows the discussion to stay focused on what we were talking about in the first place rather than devolving into nonsense.
Oh, sure. Then how do you explain why nobody reacted to the reported posts, except for my own? I actually reported my own post for trolling and being off-topic, and all I got was a warning telling me not to act like a "know-it-all."🤣
1. A troll is never truly alone; if they can't find a partner in crime, they'll just pull in a clone.
2. Trolling posts that never get deleted make it impossible to stay on topic. A troll will relentlessly target people who are trying to stick to the subject by quoting them and repeating the same nonsense until someone finally snaps and replies.
You want to know what the real issue is? The issue is that moderators use your "advice" about ignoring trolls whenever they're dealing with trolls they actually agree with. Ryan Vaughn7 is the most obvious example of this; he doesn't just sit by, he actively supports the trolling with his own posts—essentially standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the very trolls whose comments should have been nuked immediately, yet he didn't lift a finger even after those posts were reported.
Just for kicks, I could write a post calling the moderator Ryan Vaughn7 an HNS supporter who can't even come up with a decent defense, just to see what happens when a post like that isn't sanctioned, but I won't.🙂 I mean, in terms of the kind of trolling that triggers a reaction, I want to see what happens if a post like that is allowed to stay up.😉
hollowtrucker77, just one more thing. Once before, when I hadn't started this thread on the forum, you sent me a private message through the Democratic Party platform telling me to be "smart," to ignore the trolls, and just report them instead. Well, as you can see, I actually listened to you. I didn't engage with those posts; I just reported them. Out of everything I flagged, the only post that actually got penalized was mine. Look, if I get punished, fine, that’s okay—but all the others? They weren't just ignored; they weren't even deleted. So, still trying to follow your "smart" advice, I'm opening this thread. Everything else speaks for itself. And then, after all this, you have the nerve to tell me again today, "just be smart, don't respond, and the troll posts will be dealt with." Here is my reaction to that: 😂 This thread sat here for two days without a single response. Honestly, nothing would have happened even if I hadn't messaged you privately. Of course, once I realized your "advice" wasn't worth a damn, I decided to respond to a few provocative or trolling posts just to see what would happen. Man, the "disciplinary action" worked so fast it was hard to believe my own eyes; it happened so quickly I wasn't even sure if I had actually typed anything at all. There were posts here that absolutely deserved a ban for trolling or going off-topic, yet they weren't touched. It's not because someone is protecting me or likes me—it's because if they actually did their jobs, they'd have to delete all the troll and provocative posts that I responded to. Some were deleted, sure, but 🙏
So, hollowtrucker77, I tried being "smart" like you suggested, but I think that guy Adler is a lot "smarter" than me. Probably because you didn't give him the same advice you gave me. The guy can jump into almost any thread and insist there were fewer than 1,000 people at the protest, regardless of whether that's even the topic of conversation. Let's be real, his posts alone are enough to fill three pages of a forty-post thread. Yeah, Adler is real "smart," especially since the people whose job it is to moderate seem to just ignore him. It looks like they take your advice, at least when it comes to certain users. That leaves one question: who is actually going to moderate everything, rather than just picking and choosing who gets targeted?
Just be "smart" and ignore this thread of mine. Let's see where this "ignoring" leads if nobody steps in to moderate or lock it down. 😉

Regarding payments, look, there’s no rule saying the forum owner has to foot the bill for someone else's work on the site. But if someone else wants to step up and pay for specific services—whether that's content creation or moderation—that's entirely their call.
I think we can all agree that this forum is basically just a playground for Democratic Party soldiers. I’ve seen it written in the political reports more times than I can count. So, why would it be any shock if one of those party soldiers—whether they're from the GOP or the Democrats—is acting as a moderator? Or even worse, getting paid by the very people posting here? Is that really such an unbelievable concept?
Whatever, maybe it isn't, doesn't really matter—now they'll just "shine" while claiming "that's not what this thread is about."
hollowtrucker77 said:Look, this whole topic is a total mess, and honestly, both sides have basically retreated to their own little corners to dig their heels in.
It’s actually wild to me how people can just completely derail a thread like this, pivoting away from the actual point to argue about something totally trivial or just plain irrelevant.
If you ask me, the moderators have actually done a pretty solid job keeping things under control here.
It’s always the same old story: everyone else is at fault except for the people running the show, whether it's the government or the site admins.
Scott Cruz4 said:Look, you're just spinning your wheels here. I’ve tried reporting moderator bias and various trolls myself in the past—nothing ever happens. Just accept it. On the political boards, about 90% of the flagged posts don't even get a slap on the wrist.
I hear you, but I'm not going to just sit back and take it. Like I said, I haven't touched the non-veteran threads in two years—I barely post there at all—but when it comes to veteran issues, I'm staying active because I have a reason to be. I won't stand by while that moderator acts like they own the place, ruining these discussions and twisting the truth about our veterans.
I think enough time has passed for Microsoft to actually address this complaint of mine. If there isn't some issue with the metrics tracking thread views, then I’m left feeling like this whole topic is invisible—which leads me to conclude that silence is being used as an answer in itself. In all my experience with how Microsoft handles user grievances, they haven't had any trouble pointing out when a user's complaint is baseless.
The fact that I haven't received a single response convinces me that my complaint is entirely justified.
Regardless, I am still asking for action regarding the moderator "the edge." He seems to be taking your silence as a green light to pick up exactly where he left off yesterday after this complaint appeared on the PDF, even though he was personally warned via private message.
I have to admit, I was hoping that if nothing else happened, "the edge" would at least stop moderating the protest thread. Unfortunately, as I already stated, he just kept right on going. He’s back to debating the number of protesters—which is the actual subject of the thread—but he’s using his authority to wipe out posts that debunked the lies being spread and exposed why those lies were being told. This debate has been happening since the thread was created; it was happening yesterday, too, with "the edge" using his power to steer the conversation off-topic. But unlike yesterday, more of us showed up today to call out the falsehoods—specifically the claim that "there weren't more than 1,000 protesters in New York City"—than those actually pushing the lie. And of course, that’s when the deletions and warnings start rolling in: Even if we assume his conclusion is correct, I have to ask: why didn't he shut this down yesterday or the day before when only a few people were questioning the numbers ranging from a few hundred to yesterday's "1,000"? Why does the debate over the headcount suddenly become irrelevant only today, once the people who disagree with those "few hundred" or "1,000" figures finally arrived?
I think the answer is pretty obvious: it’s just another instance of "the edge" abusing his moderator status and position.
I'm hoping Microsoft will actually follow up on these complaints.
Thanks.
So, I just got back from the protest and jumped onto this thread: and found a massive mess regarding historical markers, crests, flags, and all that. Seeing as a moderator named "the edge" was actually participating in these tangents, I decided to post asking why everyone is obsessing over flags and old coats of arms instead of sticking to the point. Why is the thread being trolled? No one answered me, though some people just kept rambling about stuff that has nothing to do with the actual topic. So, I went ahead and reported every single off-topic post, including my own:
And here are the others;
I flagged several other posts too—probably didn't catch them all—but everything I submitted is visible to those with moderator or Microsoft authority.
The bottom line is I filed these reports, and as you can see, at least three of the flagged posts belong to moderators. Looking at the links, it’s obvious that instead of warning people about going off-topic or punishing the trolls, the moderator is actively helping tear the discussion apart. This thread is supposed to be about the veterans and their protest, but "the edge" trolls and encourages off-topic chatter in almost every single veteran-related thread. I rarely even touch the politics section anymore; when I do write, it's usually regarding veterans. I'm calling out "the edge" here because his constant participation and moderation style is literally destroying these threads. In my opinion, his behavior is tarnishing the reputation of this forum and he's trying to paint a fake picture of the veterans.
"the edge" lacks any sense of principle or morality, using his mod powers to sabotage any topic that bothers him for whatever reason, while also using those same powers to delete or punish anyone who dares to disagree with him.
I am requesting a formal response from Microsoft regarding this complaint.
Thanks

I’m honestly worried we’re just going to end up driving our own utility bills through the roof if we aren't careful.😁
Don't sweat it, the Democratic Party will probably foot the bill for you and throw in a little extra once they finally kick this administration out.😉😁
If not the Democratic Party, I'm sure Jeremy Wilson3 would be happy to.👍
