I suppose it's not the same. If we're talking about a 320kbps MP3, maybe the quality matches a CD or a DVD, except you can fit 80 tracks on a CD and maybe 500 on a DVD, which you could play on any DVD player that supports it.

If you've already ripped the music to an audio format on your disc, you could burn it to a DVD just like a CD 🙂 and play it wherever you want.
Adobe formats belong to the MPEG4 family, so I guess you can only play or watch them on players that specifically support Adobe, not just anything. For instance, look at
