sorry, but who even are you? I don't recall us ever talking on Reddit before. 🤷
shadowpilot8 said:We all know you're one of us at heart. 😁
Look how much we care about you. ☕
😁
I log into Reddit, head over to the Economy section wondering why I'm missing a PDF, then hit the PayPal thread and realize my nickname has been flooded. It was 😲😲
Henry Edwards33 said:Žaloso and unsuccessful 👎 After just a few posts, it’s pretty obvious they’re missing that certain charm darkmaker94 has. You can't just fake that kind of vibe 😉
Awwwww. 😍😍
Please tell me you aren't trying to recruit me for the promotion at Chase Bank?! 😬
shadowpilot8 said:She messed up. Right in the middle of typing with Raymond Brooks8, she posted using the Joseph Wilson5 handle, claiming: "I usually just use my Hotmail account lately." It was a total facepalm moment. 😬
She deleted it immediately and re-posted the same thing under Raymond Brooks8. 🤦
The admins will see it. No worries there. 🙂
And seriously, if an account actually gets hacked, what's the point of sending a PM?
But I have no clue who she even is. From what I can tell, she hasn't even posted on the subreddits I moderate. 🤷
Regarding hacking, has anyone here actually had their account compromised?
redmarlin3 said:Don't get all worked up, 🙂 look, what point would there be in sending DMs if your account actually got hacked? 😉 Maybe someone would call your cell, but this whole thing just went down in the last two hours. Everyone just panicked at the thought of some random lunatic having access to the admin panel, and that was it. I'm sure they'll sort it out soon enough. As you can tell from everything I've posted here, I didn't buy it from the start... 🙂
Look, nobody has access to my account. I only log in from home on my own PC that nobody else touches. And even if I were hacked, I wouldn't be able to post from it right now, would I? 🤷
shadowpilot8 said:darkmaker94, what did you do to offend this person? 😁
Who is that? 🤷
shadowpilot8 said:Just hold steady until an admin arrives. We are fully aware of the situation, so there is no need for concern. 🙂
I can't believe someone who’s never even handled anything significant is actually... 😬Is it actually true that you can get banned from moderation in five minutes without even getting a single DM asking what happened? 🤷
Raymond Brooks8 said:@redmarlin3: the email address is hosted on a Hotmail server @Terminate: As far as I can tell—and I’ve been pretty careful lately—I haven't picked up any Trojans or installed a Keylogger 🤷
You're lying, because it isn't.
I seriously can't believe I just got stripped of my moderator status (for 3 PDFs, no less) without anyone even sending me a single PM first. Like, WTF?!? 😕😕😕
Kyle Sanchez8 said:Nah, but am I still gonna get those annual tax forms and all that junk mailed to the house... I'm definitely tossing the monthly ones...
hollowmaker20 said:Yeah, they're totally right there, I guess I got my wires crossed for a second.
Actually, that part isn't quite right because you can—well, at least with the Federal Reserve or similar setups, though I bet other banks do it too—just put everything you've got into a CD for as little as 10 days and still pull in around 4% annual interest. I mean, obviously 10 days isn't the most convenient thing ever since you'd be constantly renewing it, so sticking to a 1-month term is probably a smarter move. Then again, there's always that auto-renewal option, so you'd basically only have to drag yourself down to the bank when you actually feel like breaking the CD.
🙂 Give me a break. 😢
Kyle Sanchez8 asked me specifically about those savings accounts available to young people at Goldman Sachs. It clearly states there's a minimum term of 6 months and one day.
Monthly statements only show up if you actually ask for them, but they’ll charge you for it (I think it's $1.75 a month), and honestly, you can just check everything on your Chase mobile app anyway, so there's really no point. Just make sure to tell your wife she doesn't need the paper statements (unless she's really into that).
