That shop is honestly trash. I walked into one in Des Moines 🤔 and just turned right back around. Anyone actually finding stuff there clearly has zero standards. I’d much rather hit up a flea market.
Sent two COD packages out—one on the 5th, the other on the 14th. Both were delivered ages ago, but I still haven't seen a dime. I wouldn't be surprised about the second one, but the one from the 5th really should've cleared by now, especially since it was received and paid for last Monday. 🤷
Look, I wasn't even claiming that, because those fees are coming out of your own pocket, whereas an overdraft is just money the bank is lending you. I'm just saying that overdraft money isn't some imaginary figment of your imagination—it's real cash sitting there available to you 24/7.
Look, the bank has to actually have that cash on hand somewhere since you can go withdraw it whenever you feel like it. They aren't just making it up as they go.
When you're tapping your card at shops, hotels, or restaurants, there aren't any extra fees, so it pretty much doesn't matter which one you use. The only thing to watch out for is ATM withdrawals—you should check your bank's website to see what they charge for those.
I'd personally go with an Elon Musk Visa, especially if you can hold the local currency on a foreign exchange account to snag a better rate. 🙂
From what I've heard, it was actually an option for a bit, but then JPMorgan Chase disabled online access again. Doesn't hurt to give it a shot though. 🙂
The mail carrier just drops them off at your door. If you aren't home, they'll leave a slip so you can grab them at the local post office. I’ve definitely spent days waiting around for mine to show up.

I even saw the mail carrier carrying two different notices. And the guy actually had the nerve to send emails like: "Hey, where's my package? When is it arriving?" and stuff like that. 👎 I just don't get it. Why even order something if you aren't planning on actually picking it up?!
Btw, I'm not just talking about some random person on a forum here... 🙂

My package actually got sent back to me yesterday, and I even had to shell out extra $5.00 for the trouble. 🙄 The label said Delivery Attempted - Not Picked Up. I emailed the guy, but of course, he’s totally ghosting me. 👎

The package went out on March 30th about 12 hours ago, so it definitely left the post office that day. I’ve never had any issues with cash on delivery before either; everything usually shows up within two or three days. 😢
Quick question for you guys; I sent a COD package from Washington, D.C. to Washington, D.C. back on March 30th, and the guy is claiming he hasn't received it yet. It feels super weird to me because even when I ship stuff to places like Miami, it usually shows up within three days max. I don't know if it's actually possible for it to take this long. Honestly, I'm starting to think he just doesn't want to pick it up. 😠 Also, how long does it typically take for a package to get sent back to me, and am I going to get hit with extra fees if that happens?😢
Richard Lewis16 said:Oh, come on, you’d probably go anywhere at this point, as long as it was somewhere out in Westgate 😬 just a little joke here and there... 😉
Yeah, I'm totally on board with that too, though if I'm being honest, I'm not exactly a fan of that whole system where they fill up all those little bags... I feel like there have to be much better ways to handle it
Truth.😁 The one over on Washington Street is more my speed, though they have the same stuff at both locations anyway.😁
By the way. The retail scene and Walmart... my old lady just scored an Easter voucher for Walmart. 🙄 So we hit up that Superkonzum over on Ljubljana Street today. Honestly? Thank God for other grocery stores. 🙏 Trying to navigate this store with a cart is a total nightmare. The aisles are way too cramped, and they’ve just dumped pallets of sale items right in the middle of the walkway. As for the selection? Don't even get me started. They don't even carry about half the stuff I usually grab at other places, like Spar. The produce section is a complete disaster, too. The radishes and green onions that are supposedly on sale for Easter look like they were picked a month ago. 👎 The deli selection is pretty pathetic. We mostly blew the voucher on sodas, drinks, snacks, and other useless junk. As for the prices? I don't even need to go there. The only decent part was the fish prices—we picked up two medium sea bass for about... $8.25 I think it's 1kg. $15...and two big trout. $4.00 (1kg is... $6.75). 🙂
Richard Lewis16 said:Cosmo isn't owned by Agrokora anymore😬 it hasn't been for at least half a year now😉 and the wages in all those retail spots are pretty much the same, though I suppose Kerum and CVS (especially that guy) pay a bit more in this sector and honestly, I'm not even surprised... in Target, it was actually a good move when they introduced self-checkout; it's way faster, and it ends up being cheaper for them too🙂
you could say one decent thing about Walmart is that they opened a shop in somewhere like a smaller coastal town and kept the fruit prices maybe$0.67 slightly higher than they would be in a big city like Los Angeles before that, it was totally normal for produce to be at least 40% more expensive there than in LA😉
I’m a huge fan of those checkout lanes. 🙏🙏 It's basically the only reason I shop there. 😁
