They finally dropped the tour dates, and looks like the US leg is the only thing on the schedule besides one stop in Eastern Europe.

Those photos are killer. All we’re missing is the Uzzis and the bombs—every mother out there would be fighting to have them as a son-in-law.

Kevin Chavez3 said:Maybe someone can dump more info about this whole "expanded lineup" rumor. Is it going to be a full live show or what?

Look, since I have some insight into how they organize things, 😬
They arrive 15 people, obviously not everyone hits the stage—you've got management, merch, the sound guy, the lighting tech, and of course, S1W 😁 No, the lineup is live.

They run two different live setups, usually just the MC and the DJ. This entire tour is a live experience.
P.E. LIVE PERSONNEL

1) Chuck D
2) Flavor Flav
3) Proff. Griff
4) Michael Williams (Bro. Mike) Road manager / S1W
5) Clifton Johnson (Management)
6) Lord Aswod (DJ Lord)
7) James Allen (James BOMB) S1W
8) John Oliver (POP DEASIL) S1W
9) Andrew Williams (The DREW) Sound TEC.
10) Khari Wynn (LEAD Guitar)
11) Michael Faulkner (Drummer)
12) Charles Hargrove (BASS)
13) Walter Leaphart (Management)
14) Malik Farrakhan
15) ? (probably merch staff)

That’s one reason for the ticket price. The second is the logistics of the tour itself:

Travel Schedule Sept. 28
Sept. 30 Paris, France
Oct. 1 New Castle, UK
Oct. 2 Glasgow, UK
Oct. 3 Edinburgh, UK
Oct. 4 Liverpool, UK
Oct. 5 Manchester, UK
Oct. 6 Los Angeles, USA
Oct. 7 Day Off Travel
Oct. 8 Sheffield, UK
Oct 9 Cambridgeshire, UK
Oct.10 Wolverhampton, UK
Oct. 11 Cork, Ireland
Oct. 12 Dublin, Ireland
Oct. 13 Tromsø, Norway

As you can see, Los Angeles isn't exactly a quick bus ride away, and flying 15 people isn't cheap.
Regarding the comparison to de la Soul, let's be realistic: de la Soul is a much smaller act than PE and significantly cheaper to book. 😁
Andre "Mr. Rhythm" Williams at KSET in Music ·
rustyraven43 said:Alright then. But seriously, why isn't there a link for that black cat guy on the KSET website?

Look, let's not start a panic for no reason. I don't know who the promoter is over at KSET, but Belgrade is in the same hemisphere, and I'm pretty sure they're still dealing with summer heat too. Neither the university nor KSET have even opened up yet, and you're already tripping because there hasn't been an announcement for an October concert. As you can see, there aren't even any listings for September yet. 😬

By the way, "Pravda Records" is actually a pretty solid name for a label. 😁

Now it would be nice if you could actually explain what you're tripping over. ☕
People get the exact same answers from different clerks at both the IRS and the Social Security Administration (and darkraven10 already mentioned getting the same response from a higher authority at the IRS up above).
I ran into this myself when I was starting out (though it didn't apply to me specifically, so I didn't pay much attention), and a friend of mine is dealing with it right now while opening their business.
They were talking about penalties before, and they’re still talking about them now.
So, this isn't just some one single clerk or one specific government agency spinning a yarn.
And we aren't talking about hearsay from some guy at a bar; we're talking about official responses from the actual institutions.
Granted, they don't put it in writing, obviously.

Wait a second, did you actually receive an IBAN from the Bank of America in the city?

It would be helpful if you actually read the post jadesailor14 wrote, where she cited the specific Decision and the issue number in The New York Times where the latest ruling on this case was published. Instead of facing a very concrete argument, you're countering with "some guy at the IRS told me," which isn't a real argument. That might have been the case for a brief window years ago, and some people are clearly still living in the past, but the laws published in The New York Times are the only things that matter here. Besides, maybe that person was talking about a sole proprietorship rather than a corporation—though even then, I don't think there are any provisions regarding "15 days from the first transaction," since the owner pays their own contributions from the moment they start.

In the US banking system, there isn't an IBAN for individuals yet, but they'll have to implement it; I think the deadline is about a year away.

Keith Phillips3 said:I don't know anything about specific laws or paragraphs—that's not my thing. I'll just ask my lawyer.
If you didn't catch that, I'm simply reporting what was said and what you were told.

Forget the hearsay. A month ago, they told me straight to my face at Chase that individuals in America couldn't hold an IBAN back when I had my account with Bank of America.
Running into some idiot at the IRS who probably started yesterday isn't a valid excuse to keep spreading easily debunked misinformation on this forum. jadesailor14 was quoting a Supreme Court Decision, which was the final word on this whole saga. Any further "well, someone told me" arguments are just redundant and a waste of time.

Keith Phillips3 said:Spending money would involve reclaiming the VAT. 😁

Until that first transaction hits, the company is essentially dormant (meaning you just file zero returns with the IRS, etc.).
From what I understand 😁, once that first transaction goes through the transition account, at least one person has to register with the Social Security Administration within 15 days.

NO!
I solemnly swear to give my first paycheck to whoever is the next person to claim a company *must* have an employee.

I’m starting to think we need a permanent headline that reads: "LLCs don't actually require employees." This same debate keeps resurfacing every few months like clockwork. 😬
Starting an LLC: Where to begin? in Business, Accounting & Taxes ·
Tell your buddy that the Supreme Court settled this "new" debate a few years back. An LLC doesn't actually require you to have employees. The only catch is you can't collect unemployment benefits while serving as a company director.
Probably amylase. It’s a pancreatic enzyme.
Most likely pancreatitis, though there are plenty of other possibilities—diverticulosis in the colon, for instance.
What a load of nonsense 🤣 🤣 🤣
Personal loan ads: Legit or scam? in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
Ethan Anderson79 said:Sounds like you're talking about loan sharks...

Credit cards aren't the same thing as dealing with loan sharks. When you use a card, you're borrowing from a bank, not some guy under a bridge. Sure, the interest rates are high, but the scale is completely different—even the maximum credit limit is peanuts compared to what those predatory lenders deal with.😬
Personal loan ads: Legit or scam? in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
Those loans you see plastered all over ads and street poles? Most of them are just credit card schemes. They have nothing to do with actual banks. It’s basically a way to buy fake goods using a card for $3.25 spread over 10 installments, while you walk away with $2667 in cold hard cash—maybe even less. Of course, you need to have a valid credit card to pull any of that off.

I mean, it should help, right?

As for the weight gain issue—it’s going to be a struggle to get back to a normal weight if the metabolism isn't firing on all cylinders. And you can't expect that to happen without B12. How long has she been on those injections?

She’s been on them for two years now; the diagnosis wasn't exactly a recent surprise, just that the "person" in question acts a bit off. 😬Is there such a thing as a B complex without B12 in pill form? And is oral B12 something to avoid at this point?
Dealing with Megaloblastic Anemia in Health ·
You’d be better off just admitting they're the same thing instead of pulling these random quotes out of thin air 😁

EDIT: Actually, scratch that—they aren't the same. Check out the first link 😕

Sure thing. And if you spend all day masturbating, you'll go blind too... 🙄
Dealing with Megaloblastic Anemia in Health ·
Yeah, I’m aware of the alternative options, but they aren't even on the table right now. 😬
For the time being, they're sticking to one 1000 microgram injection per week.
The patient actually survived botulism back when they were younger. I'm looking at a generic list of B-complex tablets here, and it shows 1 microgram of cyanocobalamin. That's B12, right? If it is, then those specific tablets should probably be avoided entirely, shouldn't they? 😕
What’s the actual distinction between pernicious and megaloblastic anemia? In this case, the diagnosis is megaloblastic. Also, any tips on how to manage or cut down on the vomiting?
Dealing with Megaloblastic Anemia in Health ·
No other underlying medical issues have been diagnosed. What should I be eating to put on some weight—I'm talking maybe 20 pounds—without completely wrecking my stomach along the way? 😁
Regarding B vitamins, B12 tablets are causing me major issues right now. Does anyone know if there's a B complex available that doesn't include B12? 😁
Dealing with Megaloblastic Anemia in Health ·
A family member of mine was just diagnosed. They’re about 60, extremely thin, and dealing with constant vomiting. I’m no doctor, but this is all pretty foreign territory to me. Has anyone here dealt with this before? What does the treatment look like, if there even is one? Also, any advice on nutrition? We’re looking at a weight loss of nearly 45 pounds. 😕
It all depends on the type of alcohol you're drinking and which type of diabetes you're dealing with. Don't oversimplify things like that without looking at the facts.
