Come on, Tyler Grant86, start a separate thread for the biography of the Buzzcocks vinyl ownership changes. 😛
Why is seeing a speech therapist such a big deal? Look, I get it—going to the OBGYN for an exam can be awkward and uncomfortable, but a speech pathologist? 😁 😁
KSET, 2/14/2003 So!Mazgoon - previewing material from the new album
Exactly three years ago, on Valentine's Day 2000, So!Mazgoon played their first show at KSET right after dropping their debut album. Now, they've just wrapped up recording their third studio record, making this Valentine's Day the perfect time to premiere the new material. Zan Jakopac, Max Juricic, Boris Leiner, and Stanko Kovacic are ready to unveil the band's evolved sound—expect a hell of a time.

They’ve certainly come a long way...
And that bit about "interesting guests"—please. Who hasn't shared a stage with Pink Floyd or Phil Collins at this point?
AllMusic doesn't give a damn about the North American scene or any part of the American diaspora. And regarding the Pink Floyd and Phil Collins connection—honestly, which one of our guys has actually played with them?
Whatever, the guy actually made it onto allmusic.com. Who else from the American scene is on there? 😕 The Blasters and The Clash. That’s about it. Those are the only American bands—if you count The Clash as one😁—that actually carry any weight outside our borders.
Look, I know this is usually handled in Adobe Photoshop, but I’m stuck working in Corel Photo-Paint right now. I need to merge an object with the background, but without those harsh, obvious edges showing up after the merge. No matter which blending mode I pick, those borders stay perfectly visible. Is there a way to make the center of the object stay strong while the intensity fades out toward the edges, letting the background bleed through more? I'm looking for that smooth "melted" effect where the subject blends seamlessly into the scene. If this can be done in CorelDRAW or Adobe FreeHand, even better, but I just don't have access to Adobe Photoshop at the moment.

Krschanin, look, I agree with you on plenty of things, but this specific take sounds like it’s coming from someone who doesn't understand medicine. Just look at the facts: without genetic engineering, the lives of over 50,000 insulin-dependent diabetics here in the States wouldn't even be possible today.
Gene therapy isn't just a medical breakthrough; it’s the next logical leap for human evolution and civilization as a whole. If you’ve watched someone close to you lose their battle with cancer in the last year—a type of cancer that could have been wiped out by gene therapy—and you still find yourself arguing against its development, then you’ve lost touch with reality. Put yourself in those shoes: imagine you’ve been given a one-year death sentence, but that year provides just enough time to test a new genetic treatment that offers a genuine shot at survival. Now, imagine being denied that chance simply because some moralist is lecturing everyone about how "unethical" it is to tinker with DNA.
