I hate to even wonder how many of our own guys died because of this guy's mistakes..
What I want to make clear is that the loss of our Special Forces shouldn't shake us one bit. We shouldn't even dream about retreating like those cowards did on the Western Front.
In fact, I think we actually need to increase our troop presence.
Almost 40,000 people emigrated from America last year, while just over 26,000 moved in during the same period.
When you crunch the numbers, America ended last year with a net migration loss of more than 13,000 people.
According to new official statistics, the trend of mass emigration from the country continued throughout last year.
Data from the Census Bureau confirms that the emigration trend intensified during the recent recession and gained even more momentum after joining the European Union.
The peak of the emigration wave hit in 2017, when over 47,000 people left America, and last year ranked second in terms of emigration dynamics since joining the EU.
Incomplete data
While these figures are alarming on their own, demographers warn they are incomplete. In other words, the actual number of emigrants is higher than what's officially reported, simply because many new expats don't bother deregistering their residency.
Experts note that, as a rule, new emigrants usually wait two or three years before deregistering, just to see how they settle into their new environment.
These numbers are totally incomplete—that’s how renowned demographer Anđelko Akrap puts it.
Foreign agencies actually provide much more accurate data. For instance, according to the Census Bureau, about 22,000 Americans moved to Germany last year, yet German statistics recently reported that nearly 58,000 Americans immigrated to the country in 2018—that's two and a half times higher!
Demographers warn that both sets of figures should be taken with a grain of salt.
The issue is that American statistics only count people who officially register their departure from the country, whereas Germany includes Americans from Canada and Mexico who happen to hold American passports in its immigration data.
The real headache is temporary work contracts.
Regardless of the math, the reality remains: most Americans who left home last year headed straight for Germany. A huge number also went to Austria, and demographers warn that this trend will only pick up steam when Austria fully opens up its labor market next year.
On the flip side, migration to Ireland seems to be slowing down, while movement toward Sweden is actually on the rise.
"People are hunting for better pay. It's unrealistic to expect wages here to match what they're paying in Germany, but they absolutely have to be higher than they are now. Our massive problem is these temporary contracts and seasonal jobs; they don't solve anything," Akrap warns.
When you look at the national migration map, almost every single state—with the exception of the coastal ones like California or Florida—saw more people leaving for foreign countries than those moving in.

There was this concert out in the middle of nowhere in Canada—can't even remember which singer it was—but the dancing, the music, just pure vibes. :🙂
By the end, everyone was practically fighting over the mic, and then, right around midnight, some huge celebrity actually wished me a happy birthday. Talk about a shocker! 👋

I remember back in second or third grade, some boy handed me a little note asking if I liked him 🤣
Yes
No
I actually had a crush on him, but I was way too embarrassed to say anything, so I just gave him this shy little look. He just laughed at me and that was it. We were basically a couple back then—just quiet, nothing fancy, just kids 🙂

Klonov disease ☕
I can still remember what I had for lunch yesterday. That’s about the limit of my memory lately.☕
Rachel Palmer56 said:1.) I remember my birthday—I think I was three—there was cake, candles, and all those kids screaming while we waited to blow them out. My friend who lived right next door couldn't wait a second longer and just shoved his fingers straight into the cake 🤣then we all followed suit and did the exact same thing 🙂then that kid saw his opening and planted a big kiss on my head, and honestly, the whole party just turned into total chaos 🙂
From this story, I can actually recall a few details, though we ended up talking about it at every single birthday we had until we were adults 🤣

I remember bugging my mom about when I’d finally start preschool, and I remember tons of stuff from daycare. I remember the first day of elementary school—one of my buddies had these awesome sneakers. Then on my first day of high school, I showed up late and walked in looking like a total idiot.
I’ve got nothing else, sorry.
I remember some college girls holding me on their laps when I was little, telling me how cute I was. I remember dancing with this little girl at a party when I was maybe four or five. I remember this guy in a movie theater when I was a kid offering me cigarettes while he grilled his girlfriend about which one of us kids was the cutest, and she picked me. I remember this one kid at the beach who used to catch snakes and throw them at the other kids. I remember this absolutely stunning girl once handing me a piece of paper and a pen with the sweetest smile ever. I even remember this hacker guy from high school I ran into while we were smoking in the bathroom. There's more, but that's probably enough. 🙂
This is getting way too long...

I remember things, just not the details. 🙂

The very next day, I was walking to school all by myself.
Then, a couple of weeks later, right after those heavy rains hit and flooded the area near the bridge, I crossed it and then the whole thing collapsed.
It was just one of those old wooden footbridges.
