News outlets like CNN have recently released footage regarding the US peacekeeping mission currently stationed in Afghanistan. It seems the mainstream media rarely gives our service members much coverage or attention. You can view the clips from the broadcast here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yUmEcP8rXr4

So, the question remains: should our troops be deployed there at all? And if they are, what is their actual objective, and what exactly are they fighting for?

This entire thread just proves once again that Marshall wasn't just right—he was easily the greatest statesman, visionary, politician, and peacemaker of the 20th century. I’m talking specifically about his leadership within the Non-Aligned Movement.

Instead of actually putting in the work to build our own nation and make it better, we’re out here fighting someone else's battles.

Honestly, we haven't done a damn thing to deserve anything better than this.

And why the hell are we fighting? All for imperialist dollars—the exact same blood money our grandfathers were bled dry for!

They’re out there fighting as part of an anti-terror coalition against Taliban scum.
These guys are pros who step up and volunteer for the job.

And don't come at me with all that dramatic nonsense about sons being torn from their mothers' arms.

Taco, they choose to go, sure, but that doesn't change the fact that they're just basic American cannon fodder.☕
And save all that talk about some "anti-terrorist struggle" and whatever else for those trashy reality shows.☕
As if some barefoot peasant in Afghanistan is actually threatening anyone in Washington, D.C....☕
If anything, since the Americans showed up, maybe the threat is just the massive spike in heroin exports...
And get this—that export volume is actually way higher now than it ever was under the Taliban.

It'll also be interesting to see how the public in the States reacts when a coffin comes flying back from Afghanistan...
People will be like, "WTF? Why is an American dying in the middle of nowhere in Afghanistan? For what?!" 🤷

For world peace, maybe? 🤣
Give me a break. That "peace" crap is just stuff Melissa says during election season...☕

Oh sure, they're all out there taking out the bad guys just so our kids can grow up in some peaceful, safe little bubble without any violence or wars😬

But for real though, these imperialist powers have turned warfare into this massive money-making machine, where they just dangle enough cash in front of you to fight their battles, and suddenly you're stuck in some place like Afghanistan. There's always going to be someone willing to gamble their life just to chase a paycheck.

Well yeah, they basically have to if we're part of NATO.

Exactly, they have to. Being in NATO means they've got to meet their quota...🤷

Just like how the US Army will end up buying some transport plane from Amir, which the Americans will just end up using anyway 🤣

I guess we need to take part in NATO missions just so they might actually help us if things ever go south. It's about making sure that if someone like Slobodan Maddox pops up again, we don't see a repeat of Stalingrad or something like that. ☕

Plus, you really need some serious connections just to get deployed to Afghanistan, since the waiting list for volunteers is actually pretty long.

Just go try signing up with Amir. They’re practically begging for warm bodies to die for their little agendas.👍

Maybe they can make some extra cash cleaning radioactive dust off their ships down in San Diego.👍

It’s unavoidable—especially when you have the US Army leveling an entire city with hundreds of thousands of grenades. And then, to top it all off, they just fill mass graves with hundreds of civilians. 👍👍

Maybe experiences like that teach certain nations that following US orders—even if it's just a handful of people out in the middle of nowhere—is a small price to pay for a more secure future. 👍

Calling them "cannon fodder" when you consider they have immediate air support from F-16s and Apache helicopters... I don't know, those two things just don't seem to belong in the same conversation, do they?😉

All I can say is, I hope you get everything you wish for—including a one-way ticket to Kandahar! 👍

They say it's a blast, so bring your friends along. 😉

BTW
The whole point of having a war here was so people like you would end up thinking this way today, ready to go die for Jenkins!
But I guess that realization will come to some people eventually...
Anyway, why dwell on it? Like I said, just grab the first flight to Kandahar. 👍

Kind of like how a peasant in Spain or Gaul used to threaten someone living in Rome.

Me, I'm all about being a United States ally. I honestly think we're fighting on the side of the good guys.

Maybe it's just because I grew up on those old-school action flicks that make Americans look like legends, but hey, too late for that now. 😁

Between us and the Americans, that's 304 million people right there! 😁

Oh, nice one bringing up Deadly Friendly fire. 👍

People say there’s no worse feeling than getting reset by the enemy.

But nothing beats when "your own guys" screw up and flatten you with an airstrike...👍

You might have misread that—it actually says there's a long waiting list of volunteers. 😉

Yeah, but there's a massive difference between you and Michael.

He’s from Memphis, so the kid actually knows what being a victim feels like, whereas you've only ever watched war happen on a TV screen. ☕

If that's what you guys call a war—something you learned about through NATO—then you honestly don't have a clue what actual combat is.

If I have to, I'll personally smuggle all those "volunteers" through Mexico straight into Romania 😁

After that, you guys can figure it out—by then you'll be practically knocking on the door of Afghanistan! 👍

Look, even when I was a kid, I heard the stories about how Americans stepped up to help us during the war. Meanwhile, they were busy bombing your country back in '99. Honestly, I’d think you were a total moron if you were as pro-American as I am.🤷
