Discrimination against my religion!!! in Feedback & Suggestions ·
"Then the angel showed me: 'Look, I will show you the judgment of the great whore who sits upon the great waters, with whom the kings of the earth have committed adultery and whose fornication has left the inhabitants of the earth intoxicated with her wine.'"
And then my spirit was carried away into the desert.
There I saw a Woman sitting on a scarlet Beast, covered in blasphemous names, with seven heads and ten horns.

-Jehovah's Witnesses

-Agnosticism, Atheism

-Islam

-Hinduism

-Christianity

-Buddhism

-Judaism

7 top topics, 7 expansionist, violent mythologies, 7 yellow "🙂" markers in front of those titles, and my pagan, cat-like heart feels as if it sees the 7 heads of that evil beast ridden by the great whore, while she sips a cocktail of filth and malice from her cup—the kind of stuff that has been persecuting us since the dawn of these desert/Eastern kitsch mythologies.

😠😠😠

I’d like to ask the administration to consider adding a corner for us pagans (we can all live under one roof, after all; we share a common enemy) among those top topics listed above, even if it ends up being as empty as Fran's grave or the Altar Homeland.

The fact that there hasn't been a gathering place for us wild non-believers among the top categories could be interpreted as a denial of our very identity and a trampling of our roots!!!

🧐

Listen, my people, back in the 70s, Iceland recognized Asatr as a fully legitimate religion, even allocating state funds to preserve it. So why couldn't there be a single thread for us pagan devils here on this forum?

🤷

Cheers...

Noah Ruiz73 said:Look, I’m not going to sit here and tell anyone what they can or cannot think. Honestly, people should feel free to hold whatever opinions they want—as long as they keep those debates behind closed doors within their own homes. That’s their business. But this kind of absolute garbage? It keeps happening over and over again in cycles. It's exhausting. After seeing a post like that, how is someone supposed to react to the public burning of religious and historical books without looking like they’re just some mindless fanatic? I mean, seriously. If you want to call out that kind of behavior without coming off as an extremist, what’s the move?

😂😂😂

Man, what was it about my post that actually offended you so much?

😳

I agree that setting things on fire is fundamentally wrong. It’s a negative act, plain and simple. I look at it this way: lighting a match or tossing a flare is just one tiny, almost insignificant step. But it's still a step. And once you take that step, you're moving toward the kind of violence that has been committed in the name of Islam and Christianity for over a thousand years. It starts small, but the trajectory is there.

It most likely started exactly how it always does. They began by burning books they didn't like. It’s a slippery slope. Before you know it, you're looking at pyres, shovels, and industrial furnaces. It’s a terrifying progression.
Honestly, those hysterical atheists and radical secularists haven't even come close to reaching this level yet...

😳

Who knows? Maybe one day the atheists will rise up to such terrifying heights that they’ll start massacring entire nations and wiping out cultures just to serve their own ideology. It's a chilling thought. I mean, history is full of people thinking they had the ultimate moral high ground, only to turn around and commit atrocities in the name of "progress" or "reason." It happened before, and it could happen again.

mellowraven22 said:Eric Collins5, alright, let's call it a day.

mellowraven22, I was truly trying to help you see how absurd this decision actually is, but instead of providing actual arguments, you’re just resorting to intimidation and threats.

It turns out this whole ruling ends up punishing the regular users who just use clones for a bit of harmless fun rather than for being outright abusive.
You can think whatever you want about me, but in all my time here, I have never—and I mean absolutely never—personally insulted anyone, whether it was in public threads or via private message.
Now, am I a troll? Am I provocative? Yes, that's true. But I buy my cards and bans without a second thought, and I never complain because, more often than not, I know I earned them.

You really need to learn how to tell the difference between a joke and a serious offense.

Best regards.

P.S.

I couldn't care less about Zidić; I don't even know what that is or who those people are. It just feels wrong to see everyone making such a huge fuss over people who are acting normally and just using clones to mess around.

Sometimes, I find myself spiraling into these intense, circular arguments over absolutely nothing—never anything serious, mind you, just trivial nonsense where I’m essentially picking fights with my own shadow.

😳

Does this mean the moderators are going to swoop in and hit me with a permanent ban for talking to myself?

Besides, I’m not even trying to hide my alter egos; they aren't exactly difficult to spot.
Every single one of them sports the exact same signature, similar titles, and the same location.
Generally speaking, I’m all for some kind of reconciliation, but only on our left-leaning terms.

😳

To put it bluntly: if the conservatives are ready to drop to their knees, weep openly, and offer a groveling apology for every single atrocity they committed—if they are willing to clean their own house, apologize for the crimes that provoked those intense reactions from leftists, Partisans, or anti-fascists after World War II, take full responsibility for absolutely every negative thing that went down, swap out the checkered flag for a redesigned five-pointed star, trade the black cap for a stylized three-pointed star, and strike the letter U from the alphabet entirely to make room for a certain vowel http://www.theaa.com/travel_editoria...s/red_star.gif... then, and only then, would we even consider sitting at the same table as you.

Until that happens...

I simply cannot express how much I value the insights shared here. It truly is a remarkable community. Every single day, I find myself returning to these discussions, eager to see what everyone has to say. There is such a profound sense of sincerity in this space. Honestly, it’s quite rare to find people who care this deeply about the nuances of our topics. It reminds me of those old town hall meetings back home—very earnest, very focused. I am just so grateful for the opportunity to learn alongside all of you. Thank you! kaže:
Yeah, but look, I’ve got to take this one step at a time. It’s just how it has to be. 🙄 Even if it all ends up in the trash, just like you said...

They’ve been a huge help to me throughout my life. 🙂 And I truly believe that’s exactly what they were meant for. 🙂

Eric Collins5:
I don't quite follow you there. Could you clarify what you meant by that? I'm all ears! kaže:
Well said. I couldn't agree more. You have my full support on this one. 😉
I feel a bit more at ease now—and I suspect you all do, too—simply because there's still a crack in the foundation. It’s that small opening that gives us room to breathe.

😁

It’s like that feeling back in high school when you see an F on your midterm, but instead of spiraling, you realize you aren't actually the only one in class who bombed it. There's this weird, sudden surge of relief. You're still failing, sure, but at least you've got company in the trenches. It's a strange kind of comfort, isn't it? To know you aren't uniquely terrible.

😁

To be perfectly honest, I never really found it all that bothersome. It never even crossed my mind as an issue, truth be told.

The only thing that actually gets under my skin is seeing people wash their hands a thousand times a day... unknown the list of little things just keeps growing

😲

When I’m peeling a label off something in a cardboard box, I am incredibly careful. I make sure not to tear the actual cardboard underneath the label so that the surface stays perfectly intact.
Though, most of the time, I just toss the packaging in the recycling right after.

😁

If I do end up tearing it, I’ll just tape the label or the price tag back over the spot and then throw it away.

So, Eric Collins5... what is it with you and gifts from people you care about? 😳
Explain yourself. 😳

Do you think there's a link to the birth canal and returning to the womb? It's like this obsessive urge to cut all ties with the past, so I see a connection somewhere. ☕

We could definitely expand on this.☕

The thought of tossing that lighter probably hit me while I was riding the ferry, and honestly, folks, I didn't buy a round-trip ticket just to throw things away.
And I'm not even sure I tossed it that same day; it was probably whenever I finally caught that damn ferry ride.

😳

Once someone leaves my life—once it’s certain I won't be seeing them again—I clear out anything that might serve as a reminder of them. It’s my way of simplifying everything. I don't want some stray thought cluttering up my head, dragging me back to a past that's already gone.
That’s my take, anyway. But then again, who knows? I can't say for certain.

You think it’s some deep metaphor about being born and going back to the womb? Feels like it's trying way too hard to cut ties with the past or something. Maybe there's a link there ☕

I don't have much to say on the matter. I'm not exactly a huge fan of humanity, but even I wouldn't equate people with garbage cans.

A Zippo isn't something you just throw away easily. I tossed it into the ocean just so it would be far away from me.
