Motrin is basically just standard Advil 200... It’s the exact same pill—same color, same ingredients—just twice the price for no reason. Do yourself a favor and grab some Ibuprofen 600, the white ones. Check the label first, though—I'm pretty sure the single dose limit is 800 mg, with a daily cap of 3200 mg. INGREDIENTS: MOTRIN One film-coated tablet contains 400 mg of ibuprofen—the active ingredient—plus these extras: lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, Tartrazine, and Titanium dioxide. ADVIL 200 One film-coated tablet contains 200 mg of ibuprofen. Inactive ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, lactose, Tartrazine, and Titanium dioxide. IBUPROFEN 600 One film-coated tablet contains 600 mg of ibuprofen. Inactive ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose and Titanium dioxide. IBUPROFEN 800 One film-coated tablet contains 800 mg of ibuprofen. Inactive ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose and Titanium dioxide.
My buddy’s wife actually had some work done by her dentist recently—he went ahead and swapped out all those old amalgam fillings for ceramic ones. I’m pretty sure he ended up paying about $67 per tooth, which brought the total to roughly $833 to get everything finished up.. If you take a look at his teeth now, you can barely tell he ever had any fillings at all; it’s such a convincing imitation of a natural smile..
So, I went ahead and grabbed some DayQuil and Echinacea—hopefully this actually does something... http://www.homeopatija.com/unutra/pr...echinacea.html
Look, you’ve got to find some kind of balance with your diet—going to extremes is a recipe for disaster.. The math is pretty simple: don't eat more calories than you actually burn.. At the end of the day, obesity—which is basically the root of all these issues—happens because we’re just fueling ourselves way more than we need.. If you want to keep your weight in check, the move is to switch to smaller, more frequent meals, cut back on those heavy animal fats, and actually get moving—exercise isn't optional here.. For what it's worth, I'm 5'11", weigh about 175 lbs, and my waist is 30 inches..
The truth about how you deal with the flu? There isn't one.. Basically, you just have to ride it out for about seven days—which means plenty of rest, eating actual healthy food instead of junk, staying hydrated, keeping your fever down, and sticking to symptomatic relief (like DayQuil..) It also doesn't hurt to take some immune boosters based on Echinacea, like Immunal..
There have already been a few threads about this—honestly, I’ve mostly just stuck with Pantene, which does the trick for me. I use it constantly, and once a month, I'll massage some Advil gel into my scalp to keep things under control...
I actually asked a buddy about this back in '94 when it first hit me.. Look, we live in a country where it's usually better to just pay up and get an answer immediately—though, obviously, not everyone has that kind of cash lying around..
@Roger Garcia9, if you really want to get ahead of this, I’d suggest the same heavy-duty antibiotic regimen I had to go through... I'm talking doxycycline—both shots and pills—paired with some cranberry supplements. The thing about UTIs is that you have to knock them out completely within a two-week window—otherwise, they turn chronic within about a month, and then you're looking at a real nightmare to fix. Good luck..
FactSet is more like a way to manage the symptoms $13 rather than an actual cure for the underlying issue... For those dealing with hemorrhoids: Detralex tablets: Take 6 tablets a day for the first week—3 times 2 then drop down to 4 a day—2 times 2—for the next 21 days.. Pair it with some chamomile tea twice a day + the FactSet It sounds like quite the regimen $200, but.. In my experience, I had an external thrombosed one that was bleeding, and that's when it just cleared up on its own.. Yeah, it actually vanished—I honestly couldn't believe it..
So, apparently, we’re talking about hemorrhoid capsules now? Because clearly, that was the missing piece in my life—just what I needed to add to the mental checklist. Just a little something extra to deal with while everything else is going sideways. Honestly, if anyone actually has a recommendation that works, feel free to drop it, because this is definitely not how I planned to spend my afternoon. Detralex tablets.
Urinary tract infections can be absolute nightmares—they're incredibly stubborn because those little microorganisms love to nest deep inside you, making them nearly impossible to shake... You really need to get a urethral swab done... The goal is to hit the culprit with a targeted antibiotic... I used to deal with constant flare-ups myself, but thank God that's finally behind me. You just have to be careful about staying warm—don't let yourself get chilled, watch your weight, dress properly during the winter months, stuff like that...
Christian Harris74 said:Hemorrhoid ligation. Has anyone actually had this procedure done at the Mayo Clinic? And what kind of method do they use? Thanks!
This was mentioned earlier in the thread, but basically, they usually do it under local anesthesia—so you won't feel much pain during the actual thing. They just tie off the hemorrhoids with these little rubber bands, and then they dry up over a few weeks. Within a month, you’re basically a new person.. The recovery is pretty rough, though—not gonna lie..
True, half of that comes down to nerves... though there are plenty of other things that can trigger it—sinus issues, bad eyesight, or just spending way too much time staring at a TV or a computer screen
