Edward Howard2 said:Most people seem to put Senna at the top of the GOAT list—if you haven't noticed—but personally, I'd rank Prost and Alonso right up there alongside MS, based on what I saw back then... maybe there are some from earlier eras too. As for MS, he’s only fourth, and arguably just a hair better than Jack Villeneuve, though that's debatable, I guess.
Edward Howard2 said:but that doesn't really matter anymore—they're running without TC now, which changes everything.
that’s just my take—I suspect it'll prove itself in the upcoming races. I'll probably end up quoting my own old posts several times this season just to remind you...

Edward Howard2 said:I don't think these were rookie mistakes—more like a reality check showing who actually knows how to drive once you strip away all the computer aids. That's where Kimi stands right now. Time will tell if he keeps making these blunders in future races, not because he's pushing too hard, but just because he doesn't know better. You can compare him to Fernando Alonso in this race. Both were driving on the edge, but how many mistakes did Alonso make? None. He proved again why he’s arguably the best driver in F1 right now. For me, Kimi was the biggest disappointment of this race—maybe even the season—but I guess we'll see...

"The battery was running too hot right from the start. Then it just blew while I was in the pits. It’s a shame, because the car felt good and I was having a decent run. I was sitting in scoring positions, so it sucks to miss out on a solid result this early in the season."
