They’re fine enough, I suppose, but once you listen to them twice in a row, they start getting on my nerves. 🙄 As for how mainstream they've become, I haven't the slightest clue. I rarely turn on the TV and I don't bother with the radio much. 😳
Look, if you don't have any aspirin on hand, just head down to the local CVS and ask. I highly doubt anyone in this group is going to be much help with medical advice. 🙂
Best moments: seeing Forbidden in NYC and seeing Bananarama at Madison Square Garden. Worst moments: Sixpack playing at the Spider. It was a disaster. Not that I didn't have a decent time... 😬 I was dancing quite a bit and had far too much Budweiser, but the concert was still 👎
Honestly, my favorite critics are the ones claiming every single track sounds identical. If we're going by that logic, then every techno song is the exact same thing to me. 🙄 This is just how this genre works, and that’s how you have to approach it. You actually need to sit down and listen to an entire album. I mean, don't just blast it in the background while you're studying or chatting on the phone; give it six straight minutes of undivided attention before deciding it’s garbage. And please, stop saying every song is the same. Just... don't.
