Apparently, their journalists did a quick Google search and suddenly discovered that the Russians have these invisible stealth subs and elite squads of underwater saboteurs specifically trained just to blow up their own gas lines.

Maybe Fak wanted Velepec, but if they had offered him elite conditions while explaining that losing Velepec was just an unavoidable reality, and he turned them down then, we could actually talk about his loyalty to the team.
