Retaking the exam in Law ·
I was just sitting here thinking about how much everything seems to be changing lately, and I couldn't help but wonder if anyone else feels that same sense of quiet anticipation for what comes next... kaže:
And really, why should anyone feel compelled to make things easy for someone who essentially engineered their own predicament, especially when they're now facing the prospect of having to retake all those basic driving tests just to get their license back...

It seems like drivers aren't actually being forced to retake their exams just because they didn't follow the proper reclassification procedures, right...

The only one who actually loses out here is the person who has to retake the exam. And honestly, I’m perfectly fine with that... I was simply pointing out how incredibly difficult those tests can be, and I felt like you were downplaying the struggle a bit when you brought up those veteran drivers with twenty-five years under their belts and all that experience... It’s actually those seasoned pros who find it the most daunting to go back and pass everything all over again, especially when the standards have shifted so much...😉

We're talking about those color-coded multiple-choice tests. Before that, you just get or borrow one of those manuals with all the diagrams where everything is laid out perfectly. It's a great guide for beginners, let alone anyone else...

I'll say it again, though. You just use common sense and your twenty-five years of road experience and you pass the test. Nothing fundamental has changed in the regulations. Just a few new road signs here and there.

And if I remember correctly, back when I took mine, you were allowed up to six mistakes😉

It seems like you haven't run into anyone who's actually had to retake the written theory exam. Well, I have! And I'm certainly not just speaking from hearsay, because there are quite a few tricky questions regarding mechanics and physics involved!
It isn't really in their interest to make passing that test easy just to get your license back; they want to make sure it sticks with you forever so you're always thinking about it...

We’re talking about passing the written exam here, not the actual driving test! Besides, if we were being judged on years of behind-the-wheel experience, we’d all be failing miserably, dear...😉 I’m curious, who among us actually drives strictly by the book? You know, that textbook way they teach you back at the driving academy... I find myself wondering if anyone still maintains that level of precision... Honestly, whenever I spot one of those "Student Driver" signs on the road, my first instinct is to give them a wide berth and just pass them smoothly...

And let me tell you, passing them is incredibly, incredibly difficult!

A close friend of mine actually went through the whole process of retaking his license after twenty-five years of driving on the road. He ended up taking it seven different times—and even then, he barely scraped by... and they change the questions every single time...

He told me that’s actually the whole point: they try to trip you up, wear you down until you're completely exhausted, and cycle through these seven different types of tests until you finally pass... and only then can you get your license back.

So, just keep your chin up, my friend... and keep on driving... aaa!😉

🤣 🤣

That’s exactly how one lady ended up in the maternity ward!😬

You truly have an incredible amount of patience... personally, I just don't have the energy to mess around with idiots... they ask questions and then act completely dissatisfied with the answer if it isn't exactly what they wanted to hear! 👍

@Manita, @Sana, I completely understand where you're coming from! Everything you both said is spot on... I feel the exact same way. While it wouldn't be ideal if things were to escalate—and I sincerely hope they don't—it seems true that these situations tend to hit those who fear them most, so you ladies are absolutely right!

Men can be so incredibly narrow-minded sometimes. I mean, would any decent man really cast his own daughter out onto the streets just because she brought home someone of a different faith, nationality, or skin color?😲 What kind of person would even do that? You know the type... someone who barely spoke to their child, someone who didn't spend enough quality time together, a parent who only ever maintained a superficial connection... yeah, that’s exactly why they’d throw their child away. It honestly feels like they'd be better off facing their own failures head-on rather than doing something so heartless...😉

Between being a killer of Americans, half-Canadian, and having some Polish roots or whatever, he clearly loved Mexicans and Canadians more than his own people—even if he was practically half-American himself.

But tell me, did you actually know that Franjo wasn't even from the Zagorje region or really an American at all, but actually Canadian? Did you realize that...😘

I assume they couldn't use his name since it was already trademarked😉. Besides, why does that bother you so much?

What should I get for a godparent gift at a Baptism? in Students & Teens ·
It seems like young women these days are really gravitating toward white gold, and I think it would be quite interesting to look into that trend more closely in a practical sense... just to see where things stand.

My daughter ended up going with yellow gold, though she almost always prefers wearing silver or the white gold pieces she’s picked up over time 🙂

My son served as a best man at a wedding last year, and he went all out by picking up an Xbox along with a custom necklace and cross set. If I recall correctly, the whole thing ended up costing roughly $0.67.
We struggled with finding that sweet spot for our budget too, so now I can't help but wonder... did we go a little overboard?
Brittle, peeling nails: any tips? in Health ·
Michael Lee11 said:I’ve honestly never dealt with this before! But lately, my nails have been peeling like crazy, and I'm starting to get a little worried. If I don't apply polish, they just start splitting off in layers...
Does anyone know what might be causing this?

I’m going through the exact same thing. For me, it always seems to flare up right at the end of winter
and stays that way for a while. I have a strong feeling it all comes down to vitamins. Our bodies just seem to get so depleted over the winter months since we aren't getting enough nutrients and there's hardly any sunshine to help with Vitamin D. Either try taking a good multivitamin complex, or just wait for spring to arrive and keep on filing them down...🙂 😘
