Thanks, steelsailor17, that’s exactly what I’m aiming for!
My doctor actually brought up the Bobath method too, but he didn't have an address for any clinics in Washington, D.C.... so that's why I'm asking. Google hasn't been much help either—it's like there's nothing listed around here, or maybe I'm just not searching the right way?

They have some killer physiotherapists there who specialize in the Bobath concept—they get amazing results with hemiparesis (not sure exactly what you're dealing with, just guessing!).
Man, I'm really curious about this Bobath thing. Is there anything like that in Washington, D.C.? Where should I look or who can I talk to? Hey, Casey Palmer5... feel free to shoot me a DM too! Thanks!
Just a quick reminder for those who seem to have forgotten...
Even back in the old days, we had doctors running private practices right here in America. I think one of them still has an office downtown in Washington, D.C. today. I remember he had his own X-ray machine and all sorts of high-tech gear... he was always upgrading his equipment... and man, did he always have a packed waiting room!
Besides, even back then, we knew it wasn't some free ride because we could see exactly how much was being taken out of our paychecks for healthcare.
Look, working for the Federal Government means a guaranteed paycheck that always hits the bank on time. But once they jump ship to the private sector... how do they expect to cover their nurses and staff?
Don't even get me started on the rest of the healthcare crew...
Healthcare isn't just about doctors, but people seem to forget that when they start acting like an exclusive "professional union."😕

I mean, threaten to call the local news, demand the name of the doctor refusing you, get their signature on the refusal, make a massive scene, storm the administrator's office... you know the drill.
Hmm, hmm... well, my appointment is conditional... so I have to check on Monday if my Wednesday slot actually holds up.
Nothing else comes to mind... I don't feel quite well enough to have the energy for a huge blowout... which is exactly why I asked for an earlier checkup than what was suggested.
Still, thanks! I honestly still believe they'll see me even without making a scene, just because I'll be there... and I'm not budging.😳

The crew finally dropped the details at a press conference after yesterday’s big first shot on the Amtrak tracks for "Spirit of St. Louis," featuring Madonna in the lead female role. The plot? Apparently, she plays Britney Spears, who heads to Boston to track down her long-lost half-brother. But the absolute highlight of the whole thing was when an ABC reporter asked her how she was feeling about this new role and the whole movie experience. She just goes, "I've nailed every single one of my roles so far!" Seriously? The entire press room lost it laughing while she just stood there with this mysterious little smirk. And I
ugh, here we go again... is this just more nonsense? 😁

That's wild, I've never actually managed to delete someone else's post. Only a mod can do that... 🙄 Hell, you can't even delete your own if it's an open thread!
Aaron Palmer55 said:Yeah, that's exactly what I meant. They seriously need to scrap that option.
Nah, that feature is huge! It’s what lets me fix my own posts when I mess up. Isn't that way more important than accidentally hitting "Edit" on someone else's instead of "Quote"? I mean, there's nothing for me to edit on their stuff, but I definitely need to quote them if I want to reply to a specific point!
Aaron Palmer55 said:One more thing! When I’m scrolling through other posts, the "Edit" button shows up, but I can't actually click into it!😁
Same here! I can't hit your "Edit" button, but mine works fine! Honestly, how many times have I accidentally clicked someone else's Edit instead of Quote? Happens all the time!😁
