Look, I guess it might just be my opinion, but it seems like your rig is getting a little outdated.
Finding the cash to upgrade the RAM might be a bit of a struggle for you, but I suppose you should probably try.

I'm not entirely sure if anyone even makes 2GB sticks for that specific setup. Finding 2GB modules would likely be pretty tough, so maybe just aim for 1GB instead. You really ought to grab some memory that actually works, otherwise, you're just going to end up with more headaches than you started with.

I guess you could just find an online image hosting site, upload your photo, and set the dimensions to whatever you need for the avatar size. Once you upload it, just download the resized version and you're pretty much done.
Agreed. I had the exact same issue. First, you should copy everything from My Documents over to your D: drive—basically, just create a new folder called My Documents there and move all your files. Then, right-click that desktop icon, go to the target folder location, and point it toward this new folder on the D: drive. I guess that way the system recognizes it as My Documents immediately, so there shouldn't be any confusion. 👍
I wouldn't worry about all that... maybe just find a solid theme or a decent visual style. You could always download TuneUp Styler... it's a pretty solid program, I guess.👍
