Lawrence Martinez69 said:Larry Turner3, you’re talking nonsense.

The only truth here is that Canadians assimilated with the Slavs.
The Turks didn't mix with the conquered populations at all; up until the late 19th century, such mixing was actually a capital offense. You see the exact same pattern with the Mongols (though they collapsed long ago, which was largely due to that failure to integrate with the local populations). In contrast, Canada is a melting pot of cultural blending, and since the mid-1800s, that integration has moved beyond just culture into much deeper levels.

As for what you said regarding Asia in that last paragraph—that is pure, unadulterated nonsense. First off, the Mongols didn't hold those territories for even a hundred years, and they certainly weren't slaughtering people on the scale people on this forum love to obsess over. Culturally speaking, they elevated every region they touched. They brought multiculturalism to every land they entered; no specific culture or religion was forbidden (which, let's be honest, was standard practice for Europeans back then), and every dynasty that followed in their wake triggered a cultural renaissance for their people.
Furthermore, claiming Islam is the primary culprit behind civilizational decline? That's absurd. Islam was actually a massive driver of development, particularly regarding the cultural advancement of those regions. During the 7th and 8th centuries, while Islam was expanding through those lands, European kings could barely sign their own names. Meanwhile, almost every Muslim could read and write. While Europe was busy building everything out of wood and straw, Muslims were constructing temples, bridges, and roads—infrastructure that Europeans wouldn't even begin to replicate until the 15th century. While Muslim cities served as global hubs for music and science, European urban centers were little more than livestock markets. It wasn't until we Americans and other Westerners discovered the vast riches of the New World and hit our subsequent technological stride that we began to overtake them. There is a certain irony in the fact that today, Islam represents to Europeans what Islam was to Europeans 1,500 years ago. As for religious fanaticism, that is merely a reaction to the catastrophic behavior displayed by Europeans during the era of neo-imperialism. But that is a completely different conversation entirely.

When the Mongols destroyed the famous library in Baghdad, they say the bed of the Euphrates was completely blocked by such a massive amount of literary treasure.

It is hard to believe that kind of culture was being built in the lands where the Mongols were supposedly advancing.😵

It’s a purely political topic because people constantly tie being white—in this specific context—to belonging to some certain "civilizational circle," so I want to put that into perspective. Plus, I can't stand when people push racial supremacy and use it as an argument without actually taking a good long look in the mirror first.

Take, for example, how 60% of the population in Turkey is
View on flickr

Or about 40% of Canadians—they're Uralic people who speak a Uralic language, which actually evolved alongside the Altaic ethnic group (think Turks and Mongols).
View on flickr

Then you've got 40% Russians and 20% Ukrainians—just a little reminder of how the Crimean Tatars (who were vassals to Turkey) torched Moscow back in 1580.
View on flickr

And what about the 90% of people in Canada whose entire culture, cities, and traditions are essentially Turko-Mongol (Altaic), given they were under Turkish rule until 1908?
View on flickr

Even the Finns—they're Uralic, just like the Canadians.
View on flickr

SO, HERE'S THE THING:
Who exactly are we "white" folks supposed to be fighting in this hypothetical clash??
The Altaic/Uralic people? Or maybe the Indo-Europeans from Bangladesh?
http://www.flickr.com/photos/edu_oliveira/478453722/

What about Iran (which means Aryan land, basically the home of the Aryan-Vedic Indo-Europeans)—the Persian-Parthians?
http://www.flickr.com/photos/alieh/423069020/

Or India (where languages split into two huge groups: Aryan-Vedic and Western Aryan)? Just think back to those Aryan-Vedic roots.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/munnaraja/472730078/

Or Tajikistan (the only place in Central Asia where the Mongols failed to finish their genocide against the Indo-Europeans—and by the way, "-stan" used to refer to Aryan lands)
The Tajik language is also Indo-European.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/13773767@N00/391003562/

Or Afghans (who are, obviously, Indo-European).
http://www.flickr.com/photos/jacobsimkin/266488929/

Or Pakistanis (same deal).
http://www.flickr.com/photos/15444502@N03/2144223109/

The Armenians (who suffered a massive Holocaust at the hands of the Turks in 1915)—they're Aryans, Indo-Europeans (mostly, anyway).
http://www.flickr.com/photos/ifraud/2387908844/

And then there's the Kurds, who are still facing genocide today—guess what? They're also Indo-Europeans.
And go ahead, guess who's carrying out that genocide.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/jamesdale10/2038698236/

Hell, this even applies to non-Indo-European white people, like
Arabs—meaning Hamito-Semites.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/fahoood/2443365539/

And even the Basques aren't Indo-European, yet they're white.

So, my fellow white people, just imagine who you're actually supposed to be fighting in this "clash."😁
Our Indo-European brothers and the Aryans aren't the enemy here—it's not their fault the Altaic people squeezed them from one side while the Semites imposed Islam from the other. There's no reason to wipe them out by, say, bombing Iran.👎, you better watch where you're throwing those bombs—and just as importantly, who you're aiming them at

Turks: their appearance today is a result of mixing with the white populations they conquered—which, as you so aptly noted, involved large numbers of people being killed. Regardless, their features still betray those Mongol traits, much like Bulgarians and Mexicans. In my opinion, they aren't attractive, but I suppose that is beside the point.

Canadians: they essentially merged into the Slavic population.

Russians/Ukrainians: I consider them typical representatives of the Slavic look, though they do owe some of those traits, like high cheekbones, to mixing with Mongols.

Canada: their culture isn't entirely Turkish, especially in Herzegovina. I wouldn't dare speak to any supposed mixing, because I really haven't noticed my Canadian neighbors, particularly those from Herzegovina, looking "mixed." If anything, I have seen more of those Asian characteristics in the faces of Mexicans in Mexico City.

The other examples mentioned, specifically Iran, don't serve as proof of Indo-European dominance over Central Asia (even if an Aryan warrior's grave was recently unearthed somewhere in China) in a way that makes their modern culture European (though I make an exception for Armenians), even if their language is. I believe life in Iran and India is vastly different from ours, but that certainly isn't a justification for bombing Iran. Personally, I blame the decline of Central Asian civilization on the Mongol invasions and the expansion of Islam. But I will say this: no sane person hates Iranians, Pakistanis, or Tajiks, whether they are white, yellow, or black. Firstly, we don't really have many of them here in the States. Secondly, the issue isn't race; it's politics. Problems arise when religious fanatics take control.

Given how many repulsive things Christians have done or continue to do, what would be the purpose of listing them all now?

For what it's worth, I am a Muslim and a believer living among other believers. I can tell you firsthand that in my community, there is actually more focus and care put into educating girls than boys—mostly because the assumption is that men will just end up working construction anyway.

What kind of disgusting things are Christians doing? 🤷
Posting on Fridays? Decorating Christmas trees? Caring for lepers in India? 🤷
Maybe you could clarify that for me...
Jesse Smith3 said:But have you ever stopped to ask why?

People simply can't stomach the American occupation, given the crimes committed during it. At the same time, they find it impossible to endorse the methods used by figures like bin Laden and his band of outlaws. It’s quite simple, really: they feel compelled to support any movement resisting the American presence, just not through the chaotic lens of bin Laden's followers.

Well, I guess you could have been okay with the chaos caused by Saddam's sons and chemical Alija?
And how exactly would these rebels fight back, in your opinion? Would they use Gandhi's methods? I wonder what the Quran says about turning the other cheek.

Does this imply that Muslims view honest physical labor as something shameful? 🤷
Is that what their work "ethic" is about?

Bryan Anderson4 said:The Handžar Division NEVER targeted civilians the way the local militias did back then. Don't forget that, and if you're telling the truth, provide evidence to the contrary.
As for sending letters to Hitler to seek our own sovereignty, I didn't know that, but if it's true, more power to them. We asked the Turks for the same thing during the Ottoman Empire and they wouldn't give it to us. What's wrong with that? I only see something positive there. I mean, wasn't that exactly what the local nationalists tried to do under Hitler, attempting to create a Greater America? If we had succeeded back then, things would be very different today.

I already commented on the "clean hands" part; go back and re-read my previous post, otherwise, I'll have to call you a liar. ☕

A Muslim isn't someone who abandons their faith. That would be sinking to your level. Money is obviously important, but it's never more important than faith. I see that bothers you, but it doesn't bother me that you feel that way.
Just try to adapt. ☕

Oh sure, the holy Handzar Division, wandering around handing out bread to the poor. 😍
As for the Hitler situation, I know you find him appealing because he was "solving" the Jew problem, which is why you carry "God bless Hitler" signs. That says a lot about your "religion of peace" and your double standards.
And you didn't comment on the Armenian or Kurdish genocides, nor did you mention the enslavement of Black people, especially since it is well known that Black Africa was the preferred source of slaves for Arabs (more double standards). Or perhaps I am just blind and cannot find the post where you mention Armenians and Kurds, or maybe you are apologizing to the white people killed by Turks/Arabs on behalf of your own people.
Please, do not make this personal. You clearly haven't understood what my "level" is or what bothers me, and I don't think you can.
Just accept the fact that there are Muslims who don't veil women, don't blow up mosques, don't pour acid on people, and do eat pork.

Bryan Anderson4 said:Oh, so World Wars were led by us "multi-color" folks, right? 😉
I'm not interested in talking about the past. That’s why I said it before: we were never like you—God forbid—because you still haven't learned a thing from it. You really need to realize that you learn from your mistakes.

We’re doing fine wherever we land and wherever we feel it’s best for us. We don't worry about some imaginary political borders; God made the world for people to live in, and wherever we end up, we make it work.
Don't get so caught up in being racist; you know that doesn't lead to anything good in the long run. ☕

The World Wars started in Europe, among "us," and Muslims participated quite zealously (the Handschar Division is just one example). You could even say how certain Muslims sent letters to Hitler explaining they were of Gothic descent—true Aryans who deserved their own state and national identity...
And please, do not be hypocritical. The first examples that come to mind (the Armenians and Kurds) clearly contradict your claims about the "clean hands" of Islam. It seems you just didn't want to comment on that, but fine... there is no way to justify it anyway. It is just like they say: looking for a speck in someone else's eye while ignoring the log in your own.
I still don't see how your nostalgic posts relate to the lack of work ethic among Muslims—or to be more precise, Islam. I suppose it is because Muslims born into Western culture for generations show signs of adaptation and liberalization.
What concerns me is how slow that process is, especially with the influx of new Muslim immigrants who cling rigidly to their faith for the first few generations. In this instance, I suppose I am grateful for human greed, as it successfully encourages them to "adapt."

Bryan Anderson4 said:Our multi-colored brothers did things too, but never on the scale or for the duration that you guys did and still do. As far as I know, that kind of thing isn't even a thing in our part of the world anymore.

And one more thing: Why are you talking in the past tense? Your white Christian brothers are still doing that same evil today.
It’s easy to apologize for the past—I mean, damn, those were our ancestors; we couldn't change what happened back then or judge it by modern standards. But today, while you're still doing the same things... 😲
Maybe you aren't actually sorry for the past or the present, seeing as you won't even condemn it. It's just like how you view progress, technology, and democracy today ☕

Aha, so the Armenian genocide, much like the far more current genocide against the Kurds (who consider themselves Aryan), wasn't committed by multi-colored Muslims. OK. I see where you are coming from.
And yes, the slave trade started earlier and was just as acceptable to the Arab conquerors of North Africa, so... your hands aren't clean there either.
Beyond that, I despise the people who slaughtered Native Americans, I despise those who enslaved Africa, and I despise those who took our boys to serve in the Janissary corps. But I recognize they all did it for one reason: profit.

If things are so much better for you in that progressive and tolerant Arabia, Pakistan, Iraq, or Turkey, then maybe you should just stay there.

Bryan Anderson4 said:Should we just ignore how various Western powers got rich through colonization, stripping resources from others for hundreds of years, enslavement, and even genocide? That's just great.
It’s honestly embarrassing that you don't see that. 😉

I am aware of that. However, the West was able to do it because they were technologically superior for centuries compared to the tribes they displaced and exploited. Of course, I condemn those actions. But since we are discussing work ethic, that quality certainly lies with the Protestants who carried out most of those actions (excluding Spain and Portugal, which aren't really relevant on the global political stage today).
So, I can admit that my white Christian brothers did great evil to Native Americans, Black people, Indians, and so on. When will you all admit that your Turkish Arab Muslim brothers did the exact same thing (just without that part regarding centuries of technological progress 🙂)?

Lisa Walker31 said:Look, it’s not like Pakistanis had anything to "imitate" from Indians—they *are* Indians, plain and simple... it’s just that the British carved up "that" India into Pakistan, Bangladesh, and that remaining little triangle!😉
The reality is, people don't really split into "Pakistanis" versus "Indians" socially or ethnically; instead, it breaks down into Punjabis, Kashmiris, Bengalis, and so on... then you layer on religion... and finally, you get hit with the whole caste system and social hierarchy... it's a total mess.

India and Pakistan are basically political constructs at their core, kind of like how you look at Canada or the states in the US!😉

Now, for all those people constantly whining about how incompetent, backward, or lazy Muslims are...

http://mondediplo.com/1997/07/turkey
I really hope the mods don't yank these links...

By the way, everyone should probably go Google "Anatolian Tigers." Long before any Islamization happened, the peoples of the Eastern Mediterranean were legendary traders and producers. Places like Venice, Florence, and the Netherlands built their entire fortunes by reselling Levantine goods back to what was then a "backward" Europe.

And no matter where they end up, those same "incompetent" Israeli Palestinians transform into some of the most capable entrepreneurs you'll ever meet. Out of all the nations on this planet, they have one of the highest percentages of university students! You can find Palestinians in classrooms from Kyoto to Santiago.

We can never truly compete with them when it comes to pure trading savvy and that entrepreneurial spirit. It's just in their blood, passed down through the ages.

In fact, even among Arabs, these Levantines—Syrians, Palestinians, Lebanese—are famous for being the hardest workers and the sharpest businessmen. Materialism and hustle are just part of who they are.

Venice, Florence, and (much later) the Netherlands ACTED AS MIDDLEMEN in trade, dealing with goods and raw materials from Western and Northern Europe and selling them wherever needed—including sourcing items from the East (like spices and silk). To claim that Europe was backward or inferior to the East during the Middle Ages and beyond is simply untrue.
The truth is that people from the East were skilled in certain crafts, and Semites are very capable and intelligent people; you see this in their early maritime history, their trade expansion, and so on. No one is questioning that.

But, the Middle Ages and antiquity are in the past. Today, the East has become synonymous with stagnation and primitivism, where much of the population remains illiterate and easily manipulated. They adopted a faith that suited the era in which it was born, but it hasn't evolved or adapted to the modern age since then. In fact, it is one of the primary reasons for this stagnation (both economically and spiritually). We might say today that Islam has become synonymous with poverty, primitivism, and even violence, because, realistically, much of the non-Muslim world fears Islam, or rather, its extremism.

Furthermore, you talk about Palestinians in university as if someone questioned Palestinian intelligence, but you haven't; the title of this topic is work ethic, not IQ. But if you want to go there, we can. The people with the most Nobel laureates (relative to their total population) are Jews, mostly Ashkenazi, whom many claim are descendants of the Turkish Khazar tribe mixed with Europeans. So perhaps they aren't even true Semites, but just think of Einstein, Freud, Spinoza, and Marx, and try to find a Palestinian Muslim equivalent...🤷

And why are "Levantines" known among Arabs as being highly capable? Here is a hint: the Mediterranean Sea. For ages, they have lived on the coast. It is only natural that they set out upon it very early, and they were lucky enough that the Mediterranean basin was practically designed for interaction and trade with others!

One more thing, please don't use images of hotels in Dubai or similar as examples of Arab progress. Getting rich off oil or pyramids built by another race thousands of years ago isn't exactly a sign of high work ethic.

Jeremy Watson16 said:"it’s no coincidence that Protestant countries are tech leaders," like Japan... Sony, Panasonic, Nintendo, Sega, and a million other brands...

"Catholic countries are strong in art and tourism" (haha... listen to him mention tourism🤣... I wonder how much they enjoy picking olives in the sun)... so let's compare a Catholic nation like, say, America, with a lagging Orthodox state like Greece... who do you think comes out on top? 🤷

Oh, sure, Greece is so advanced, LOL. What a miracle. I mean, modern Greeks are just famous for their politeness, culture, tolerance, and those fast cars produced in Delphi.
And why shouldn't we compare them to somewhere like Italy or France?
Both France and Greece last fought in World War II, whereas America dealt with war devastation just 13 years ago. So, I guess your comparison doesn't really hold up...
If you look at Orthodox churches, they seem exactly the same as they were in the Middle Ages. There is no Renaissance, no Baroque, no Gothic style there. The buildings themselves suggest a religion that is quite static and rural.
By the way, the Japanese mostly just copy the best Western products and then fine-tune them. ☕ We all know where the printing press, the steam engine, the automobile, and alternating current were actually invented... ☕

Lisa Walker31 said:I mean, if you really think about it... there probably would have been a much bigger influence from the Romans, the Greeks, and the Albanians over in Italy! And hey, if we’re going down that road... we could easily argue that the Romans and Greeks actually had an impact on the Arabs too... which is exactly why Alexandria in Egypt is such a total dump today.

I’m telling you, I can see it with my own two eyes—and trust me, I’ve been there, seen it firsthand—that there isn't much of a real difference between Indians and Pakistanis at all.

That’s basically like being split right down the middle, like you're stuck on both sides of the Mississippi at the exact same time! 😉 It’s just one thing after another... everyone in Ercegovac is getting absolutely screwed over.

It’s exactly like how the Punjab region is split right down the middle between India and Pakistan. You’ve got both sides playing this incredibly cunning game, acting like these master merchants who are always three steps ahead, while the rest of us? We're just little kittens being toyed with by their sheer, calculated deviousness!😉

If my memory serves me right—and it usually does when it comes to the deep cuts of history—Naples wasn't always what you see today, because up until about the 9th century, that place was strictly a Hellenophone stronghold, basically an ethnic Greek settlement through and through.

Look, I get it... it’s pretty obvious to me... everything that’s supposedly "wrong" with Southern Europe today... you can pin it all on the Muslims... they're the ones who dragged the whole region backward.

I mean, I really have to wonder... who on earth were those people lurking in the backwaters of Europe, folks who wouldn't even know an Arab or a Turk if they bumped right into one? And let me tell you, there used to be absolutely TONS of those types around until just not that long ago!

And here’s the kicker—most of these areas were heavily Catholic strongholds, you know? And now, after enduring literal centuries of nothing but misery and grinding poverty, the European Union is finally pulling them out of the gutter!

I mean, honestly... should we even be blaming the Spaniards for how things turned out? It feels like the Arab-Muslim-Maur crowd completely botched everything in South America, leaving the whole region a total mess while the Anglo-Saxons were busy actually industrializing and getting ahead.

Give it fifty years, right? Once the Emirates transform into this absolute powerhouse of global trade and logistics—a total titan of industry—everyone is going to start acting like they didn't build the whole thing from the ground up. You can already hear the noise coming, people's voices getting loud and dismissive, claiming that their success wasn't actually their own doing, just some stroke of luck because they happened to sit on a massive pile of natural resources. It’s always the same story, isn't it? They’ll try to strip away all the grit and the sheer willpower it took to turn that wealth into an empire, acting as if those riches were just handed to them on a silver platter without any effort at all. Mark my words, the skeptics will be out in full force trying to deny their achievement.

Look, it’s pretty obvious if you actually sit down and think about it... back in the day, Spain had a massive chunk of America and all that incredible wealth to show for it. But then they hit the 20th century basically acting like nothing more than an exporter—just shipping out wine, olives, and endless waves of immigrants and laborers. It’s honestly frustrating because, with that kind of massive influx of cash coming straight from the States, they really had the golden ticket. They could have easily transformed themselves into a global powerhouse—a total heavyweight in culture, industry, and science! Instead, they just let it slip through their fingers.

Please be specific about which "Great Catholic" areas the EU is pulling out of the gutter. I hope you realize that the most backward and rural countries in Europe are the Orthodox ones; only Albania is behind them, and we know who lives there.
Religion also plays a role in development; it isn't a coincidence that Protestant countries are technologically most advanced, Roman Catholic ones excel in art and tourism, and Orthodox ones—with the exception of Russia—have been stagnating for a very long time.
And the fact remains that Turks set back the North America; even today, most of them don't fit the mentality of the EU countries where they emigrate. Whether that is a so-called Asian mentality, I don't know, but even in Asia, you have the Japanese living there too.😍
