God, I hate these guys
cosmicjackal33 said:Check this out... the guy’s got Sulić in a headlock while he's trying to shoot, and they haven't even made anything happen in two minutes... nothing at all.

How much time is left on the clock? Do we actually have a shot here?...

Laco’s gonna break them Al-Qaeda types, while Peri just gets tossed out of the game entirely...

What's the score right now?

Oh, give me a break. Seriously...
How much is left, and how much longer until we're actually done with this...div>
Sean Wilson40 said:And the big question is, why isn't Buntić even getting on the court? They spent all this time hyping him up as Perov's literal clone, like he was the next big thing coming up through the ranks...
he’s got the shot though....

He’s got a weapon in his hands and an identical one tucked right behind his ears.😉

I mean, honestly, don't women do the exact same thing... I'm talking about when they're stuck in the bathroom, right? 😎 😉 😈
Kimberly Nelson5 said:I mean, sure, if I'm just hanging out at home, I can throw on a fresh little something and we can head out whenever (whether she's feeling it or not 😬), but what about when I'm stuck at work? There’s absolutely nowhere to go, and then there's this constant nagging... it's like, "I need more, give me more, don't stop..." 🙂

Well, in that case... you're looking at the bathroom floor or the toilet. Just take a long time with it... maybe find some decent reading material to pass the time😎
It’s just a bummer, really... it's way easier to expand than it is to compress, which is basically the exact opposite of how some other muscle groups behave... but whatever, I'm not even going to get into that right now. 🙂
So, there’s actually another upside to sticking to smaller, more frequent meals... basically, your stomach works a lot like a muscle, and you can technically train it to shrink or expand over time. If you start eating less, your stomach eventually "tightens up," so you won't feel like you need a massive feast just to feel satisfied. It’s pretty much why doctors perform those gastric bypass surgeries or even just simple banding on people struggling with obesity in the States. Plus, it’s not just a physical thing; it’s a psychological game too, which means you really have to give yourself some grace and time... you know, to mentally adjust to the new routine. Oh, and regarding that nagging hunger right after you finish eating—if you're still feeling ravenous, you absolutely have to get up from the table. But I don't mean wandering over to the fridge for a snack... you need to go outside, head to the local CVS, or even just run to the restroom... anywhere that gets you away from the food for at least ten minutes, and that craving will usually just fade away.
I don't know, I might be overthinking this, but it feels like once you actually start eating, you’re just triggering a whole chain reaction... you've got the HCl pumping, all that saliva kicking in, and then those hypothalamic hormones start firing off signals that basically tell your body, "Hey, keep going!" It's like once the food hits the system, that hunger sensation just gets amplified... which is probably why it’s so much harder to just stop mid-meal than it is to avoid starting in the first place. You’re stuck in the cycle until your stomach is actually full enough to send that "stop" signal to your brain. I'm not an expert or anything, but that's how it seems to me...😁

it's just fascinating to me how someone thinks they can strengthen their immune system through a regimen like that (macrobiotics)...to the point where even HIV wouldn't manifest or cause issues...you don't feel that way?..
..I mean, a person's choices are their own—do whatever you want—but I'm just laying out the facts for you🙂

It honestly blows my mind how anyone could buy into this nonsense, all this talk about macrobiotic diets boosting immunity, or those ridiculous claims about seasonal fruit or milk causing problems? Who on earth convinced you that people following a macrobiotic diet are somehow less sickly than everyone else, or that their immune systems are magically stronger? Where are you people getting this stuff from, seriously, why would you even peddle such garbage? It's just unbelievable.

Nicole Morgan55 said:Is there some kind of painless way to fix this? Like, should I just swallow my saliva more often to basically wash out the sphincter? 😕

I honestly don't know, I’m really no expert on this stuff so you should probably check with a doctor if you want the real deal... though maybe a specialist would be better. Certain foods can definitely trigger acid reflux—think spicy stuff, citrus, all that—and then obviously smoking or drinking too much won't help either. If you're dealing with heartburn at night, try propping yourself up with an extra pillow so you aren't lying totally flat... it helps keep things down. Also, try not to eat anything right before you hit the hay. And look, if you're a woman, seriously, go see a doctor... women tend to deal with reflux less frequently than men, so it's worth getting checked out...

And honestly, I really don't feel like dragging myself to the doctor just to hear them lecture me... you know, tell me I need to quit smoking or cut back on the coffee. I mean, sure, they have a right to say it, but I just can't deal with being preached at when I already know all of this myself.
So basically, it's my own fault, so there's no point in complaining, right?😁

The thing is, you could end up getting it in your esophagus too...

Steven Cruz53 said:I get heartburn every single time I take even one tiny bite of anything...
It used to be just stuff like tomatoes, bananas, or oranges, but lately, over the last few months, it’s just constant.
Antacids and pickles don't even touch it anymore, so I've been relying on baking soda after every meal. It’s definitely not a healthy way to live and it's hardly a permanent fix, but it gets me through...

Look, you really need to go see a doctor about this... if you're dealing with constant acid reflux, it usually means your lower esophageal sphincter isn't closing properly, which lets all that acid just creep right up into your esophagus. If you don't get it checked out, you're looking at stomach ulcers or potentially even worse stuff down the road...

Baking soda is honestly a total lifesaver. I mean, it’s basically harmless, unless you count table salt being bad for you... which, let's be real, isn't exactly a health food either.😉 😬

Is there actually any legitimate argument to back up even one of these three claims?

I mean, sure, but they’re all kept secret because apparently we can't handle the truth, otherwise it would just be more soy industry propaganda, and we all know that doesn't exist... there's only dairy industry propaganda, which is probably why everyone acts like soy isn't genetically modified or whatever...🙂 🙂 And look at that phrase "ALL RESEARCH"—if you believe that, then you clearly take those other two points seriously enough...

placidfox55, people have been treating milk like it's some ultimate superfood for kids since forever, or maybe we should just pretend chickpeas are just as vital to a growing child's diet...😉

placidfox55 said:Actually, no. Soy has all the essential amino acids. And beans paired with whole wheat also provide a complete protein profile. So our ancestors weren't wrong when they dipped their dark rye bread into bean stew. 😉

Legumes ARE a better protein source than meat because they don't come packed with animal fats. 😎

And what’s wrong with animal fats? What is wrong with you people... Seriously. Meat has all the essential amino acids and you don't even need soy. I mean, who has actually been eating soy in these parts for centuries? Is there something we're missing here? 😎 It's just nonsense. Personally, I think soy is useless, and if you want to talk about making actual crap out of it like tofu, then it's even worse, so why on earth would anyone eat that? Just work out, eat in moderation, eat a variety of things, and you won't have any issues with blood pressure or weight or cholesterol... none of that. It has nothing to do with milk, meat, or soy. There is no such thing as "unhealthy food," there is only unhealthy eating habits. This whole obsession with putting soy in everything is just a fad that came over from the USA. Besides, the variety that is most heavily genetically modified along with corn is soy, and as far as I know, plenty of Europe is covered in those plantations, right?😉
