I called Dr. Podobnik and a clinic in San Diego yesterday. Apparently, after 35, you can do it privately and they don't care about your pregnancy history. It doesn't matter.

I’m dealing with the exact same thing, but it’s a gynecologist at my local Community Health Center. The guy is just straight-up rude, aggressive, and completely unprofessional. He charges for exams that should be covered, and if you dare to push back, he starts targeting you. I did some digging online and found a ton of other complaints about his practice. Even though he runs a private practice, he takes Medicare. Honestly, I’m still shaking after our appointment; the guy clearly has some serious issues with women.
Is there any way to report him anonymously?

As for breast cancer, my great-grandmother used to scare the life out of us with stories about it, so yeah, I'm worried too. But nobody else in the family has had it since her. I just do my own checks and get an ultrasound every six months. Pap smear came back clean.

Plus, there's a history of cancer in my family, which isn't helping the anxiety.
Uterine and cervical cancer... most women on my side of the family hit menopause early and end up having hysterectomies.

Usually, he doesn't make a big deal out of this stuff, but he sounded genuinely concerned this time. Any idea what's going on?

It doesn't mean you're headed for surgery; I didn't need that until much later. You see a doctor first, and if they can't fix it, you move up the chain.
Kids get gastritis too, so there's no set rule.
My husband had gastritis and took some unknown, and he was fine. Don't wait, because once it turns chronic, you're stuck with it forever. Just go to the doctor and get it over with.🙂
