I wouldn't say that was really the biggest issue, though, I suppose you're expected to be quiet while listening to the music anyway.🤷
The main problem, if anything, was the sound balance. In the calmer tracks, the vocals just didn't cut through at all, and then by the time they played Month of May, most of it just turned into this completely unintelligible wall of noise.
Honestly, seeing the negative comments regarding Winow's Jugo-Dream Team remark feels pretty shameful.😢
And, I mean, nobody even brought up how incredible the visual production was. 👍
AF👍
the sound system👎
boldeagle20 said:Well, if that's how it is... I mean, my email shows three guys and two women! Whatever, we'll just have to see what happens tomorrow at 3:15 and go from there.🤷

P. S. Since you already have a ticket for the show, and you probably won't score a free pass for the second day anyway, I guess I wonder—what's the point of volunteering for you if there's a chance you'll miss out on a huge chunk of the music?

I don't actually have a ticket, I think you might have mixed things up somewhere.😠

So, I was just sitting here scrolling through my inbox, you know how it is, and I saw that they actually picked five of us. I mean, I guess... I honestly thought the group would be even smaller than that! Maybe I overestimated things, or maybe I just expected more people to be left out. It's a bit surprising, I suppose.
And I honestly think we might even manage to sneak into a concert or two while we’re out there volunteering! Though, I wonder... will we actually get a chance to meet someone from the band? To be honest, I don't really know much about them, so I should probably do a little homework and get up to speed first, I guess. 🤣

Are you kidding me? I honestly thought only the five of us had been looped into that email thread, but I suppose that doesn't necessarily mean we're the only ones handpicked for this... I guess. 🤷
We’re going to get to know them all... actually, no, I don't think we should.
P.S. I’m actually pretty convinced my theory holds water here... since I'm the only guy on this list, and looking at you, I guess you're on the stronger side of the gender divide too.

I mean, I guess it would be logical if it was... 🤷
analogbadger5 said:Betty Gonzalez8 ; Puck ; chocolatecherry ... Volunteers. Hey guys, does anyone know if volunteers get free entry for the second day of the festival too?

I'm not entirely sure, though I'd guess probably not. I mean, volunteering is technically part of the AF setup rather than the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival itself, so I suppose our main perk is actually getting to see them instead of the whole festival lineup. I imagine they won't kick us out before the headliner finishes, but I wouldn't count on being able to stick around for the second day.
The Hangover Part II in Movies ·
I guess The Hangover taught me that you can actually achieve top-tier success without having all the perfect conditions lined up, provided you possess an extraordinary amount of creativity and originality.

The Hangover Part II showed me that just repeating the exact same movie in a different city might bring in the same amount of cash, but it certainly doesn't deliver the same level of quality.

👎 A nod to Hollywood greed.

+1.
Thanks for the heads-up, chocolate. I guess you could call this volunteer work, but honestly, if this meant I’d definitely be buying a ticket, then it feels like I’m getting paid one way or another—and pretty damn well at that, too.👍
It looks like Mexico and Mexico are playing, and the Mexicans are wearing those black caps 😕

So, I just signed up for my account at Chase, and I think I accidentally set my default currency to something else when I really meant to have everything in dollars. I was hoping to switch it over to the standard US dollar setting... does anyone know how I go about doing that? Thanks.

I was just wondering... why would anyone choose using Moneybookers over a standard bank transfer? It seems like there might be some advantages there, right?😕
The Bucket List in Movies ·
It’s a really great movie. Simple, funny, and genuinely engaging... I mean, there were a few beautiful moments in there, especially toward the end. 👍👍
Chest day? in Hobbies & Leisure ·
I was just wondering... if you're working out at home, which exercise would you say is actually the best for hitting the chest?
thanks!👍
My uncle passed away from cancer last week, so I’ve naturally started looking into the whole thing quite a bit. What I’m really wondering about is... is it possible to, say, go in for screenings once a year just to catch anything in an earlier stage? I mean, I assume it’s doable, but then it doesn't make much sense why people don't do it more often when so many people end up losing their lives to this. Also, besides that, is there any actual, realistic reason why someone gets it? Or is it mostly just genetics and luck of the draw? Thanks.

That’s interesting... I wonder if you caught the broadcast today?

Alright, I’m going to lay out how this all wraps up right now, so if you haven't seen it yet... maybe don't read this part.

Seriously, please don't

So, basically, you find out that Garrigan has been drugging Kay, and he tries to kill him in this really gruesome way. They actually drive two hooks through his chest area and hoist him up so he's just hanging there. I mean, I might have to try that tactic during my next metaphysics exam when the professor decides to crush me. But, anyway, once everyone leaves the room, the doctor manages to save him using some kind of medicinal drinks. Meanwhile, there's this whole subplot where a group hijacks a plane and the hostages end up at an airport in Uganda, and then they decide to just send all the non-locals back home. Garrigan sneaks onto that plane and escapes from Uganda for good. It's a great movie.
