Here is my current setup. I'm planning on upgrading the bolded part (the RAM), but I'm really not sure what the best move is. I bought this PC back in 2008. Can anyone give me some advice on WHAT to get and HOW to go about it?

Link 2 - I asked him for screenshots of the specs since his description was pretty vague 🤷
Right now, I'm stuck with a super weak laptop (emachines e442) that can't handle games at all; even having five or six browser tabs open alongside Word makes it struggle 😬 So, moving to either of these would be a massive upgrade for me 🙂 My current laptop will just stay on the desk for basic typing tasks 🙂

MOTHERBOARD: ASUS P5KPL-AM
CPU: Intel Dual Core E5200 2.50 GHz (planning on upgrading to a Quad-core once I save up enough cash)
GPU: Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 6850
RAM: 4 GB DDR2 800 MHz (2x2GB)
Hard Disks: 1x250 GB (might add a 320 or 500 GB one later)
OPTICAL DRIVES: 1x LG DVD Rom
What kind of power supply would be sufficient for this build? My budget is around $100 and ideally, I'd like to find a shop that has it in stock in Indianapolis. If not, maybe somewhere in a major city like Chicago, and I can just have someone drive it over to me. So far, people have suggested the Corsair CX 430W, an EVGA Real Power ECO, or a 400W Seasonic... Do you guys know of any other options they might carry, and which of these three is actually the best pick? Thanks!

PCI-E
What’s your current or planned setup, and what kind of power supply are you running?
My PSU is CPU is an AMD Athlon 64 X2 3600, memory is 2 x 512 MB DDR2-533 (266 MHz), monitor is a Samsung SyncMaster 720n [17" LCD] (H9FLB06871), and the motherboard is an Asus M2V-MX (2 PCI, 1 PCI-E x16, 2 DDR2 DIMM, Audio, Video, LAN). The case is pretty similar to this one: http://www.coolermaster.com/product.php?product_id=6625.
What resolution are you playing at?
I'm just using integrated graphics right now, so I don't really play anything 😉. My old video card died a while back because of the power supply.
How much are you looking to spend?
About $90.
Which stores are you considering?
Future IT—I heard they're reliable and have decent prices.
If you have any other specific requirements, let us know.
Will the card fit in my case? I don't want to swap anything else out. Also, will my current power supply handle the card since I won't be upgrading that either? 🙂I'm planning on adding some more RAM, too. I'd like to be able to run Path of Exile on medium-high settings, maybe some newer games if possible. I'm torn between these two: 1. http://www.notebookcheck.net/AMD-Rad...M.41479.0.html and 2. http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-...M.63761.0.html... there are so many versions of these cards that I'm getting lost. If anyone knows of a better option, please let me know. Thanks!
