In the US, the standard advice is to get your first mammogram at 35. That way, you establish a baseline—basically a photo of what healthy tissue looks like for you—so if anything shifts later, they have something to compare it to. My gynecologist also does an annual breast exam. I’ll be honest, though; I’m not exactly the most diligent person when it comes to self-exams. 🙄I actually had my first mammogram at thirty because I felt some suspicious lumps, which ended up disappearing on their own. It seems like there might be a link between taking antioxidants (especially Vitamin E) and seeing fewer of those "lumps" popping up.
My mammogram wasn't particularly helpful since my tissue was too young; the glands didn't show up clearly on the scan. They followed up with an ultrasound just to make sure nothing malignant was hiding in there, and everything looked fine. We decided against a biopsy. Fast forward a few years, and everything is still looking good. 🙏

I’m trying to explain that we’re talking about the EXACT same account, the EXACT same amount, and the SAME bill they already approved—but she just snaps at me, yells "SUBMIT THE APPLICATION!" and hangs up the phone.
Man, I'm heading home. I'm done for the day. 😵

Can you actually use that previous approval, or do you need a fresh one for every single transaction? Is there anyone else worth calling? Maybe a lawyer at Chase or someone who could actually represent you? 😕
They’ve gotta have a legal rep or something similar on staff, right? Someone who actually knows the rules instead of just guessing like Fatty over there.

Don't even give those comments the time of day. People just blurt that stuff out when they run out of things to say... they don't matter at all. Hang in there.😘
Grab yourself some lip balm with SPF. That "chapped" feeling usually just comes from too much sun exposure. Honestly, plain Vaseline can actually end up drying your lips out more. You'll find plenty of lip balms out there packed with natural stuff like glycerin or plant oils that actually do a better job of hydrating.
First, I was seeing this family doctor... someone who really started getting on my nerves. 😁 Then I tracked down this amazing specialist who moved into private practice, which basically turned visiting him into a luxury sport. After that, I tried one unpleasant woman who did her exam with one hand while using the other to flirt with some resident—who she didn't even bother to introduce as he strolled casually into the office. To top it off, she suddenly starts snapping at me, asking if I’m a virgin because I'm "too narrow." (!??!! 😲 ) She hasn't seen me since. I went back to the polished, high-end gentleman sitting in his leather chair in front of those medical charts. 🙄 Since then, I’ve moved, and now I go to an excellent gynecologist covered by my insurance—super professional and kind. I just need to get an appointment scheduled sometime this week.
It feels like you're arguing for leaving people with schizophrenia without any therapy at all. How exactly is someone supposed to live their life like that? Who are they meant to rely on, or even who’s going to make sure they eat? I'm curious. I get that you're against medication because of the side effects, but honestly, what's the better alternative here?
I’ve always been a huge fan of Jack Nicholson; he was just perfect. This role feels pretty different from what I've seen him do before. It’s got this heavy, melancholy vibe, but it's also incredibly funny at the same time.
I used to deal with some pretty brutal bouts of nausea and pain. Honestly, the best move was just taking it easy—sticking to bland foods (nothing salty, sweet, or sour), sipping on some hot tea like chamomile, and just bundling up under a blanket... I’d take an Advil on a full stomach, which always did the trick for me.

👍 👋 👋
Since we're making lists... let's not forget the one who thought condoms were just for preventing pregnancy and not STDs... 🙂 🙂

Anyway... aren't those pills actually great because they let you schedule everything? Most people start them on a Sunday so their period lasts over a week, leaving the weekend wide open for... whatever else you have planned. 😕
