Honestly, I'd much rather have him calling the races, qualifying sessions, and practice rounds instead of those four windbags from Arena who wouldn't know what they were doing if it hit them.

So, do we have a new nickname for our buddy Vetmic yet?

My influence on the masses is massive.

Jergica is such a sweetheart. Honestly, I'm stoked he's back.
What books are actually worth reading? in Formula 1 ·
Shadows of Empire.

It basically fills in all those gaps between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi that the original trilogy totally skipped over.

Xizor shows up in the book—he's basically Darth Vader's arch-nemesis.
Formula E in Formula 1 ·
Just finished watching both races from New York City in peace, and honestly—I’ve only got one thing to say about it.

Formula E is peak motorsport right now. Hands down. Best drivers, top-tier teams, absolute spectacle. But man, even Formula E isn't perfect. It’s just missing one tiny little thing—gasoline!

ruggedhawk20 said:Nico Rosberg isn't even that bad—it's more about how good Sebastian Buemi actually is.

Sebastian Buemi is a top-tier driver—Red Bull seriously messed up when they let him go.

ruggedhawk20 said:Alright, let's go through this—but I'll be quick since I don't have much time.

(And please, move all this over to the Formula E thread, because this one is titled "blah blah blah and other high-octane sports," and there isn't a single drop of octane in Formula E—so we are totally off topic)

Sebastian Buemi = Ayrton Senna
The guy grabs pole positions like it's nothing. Just dominates. Unless some crazy outlier happens—like a breakdown or a wreck—he wins. As a driver, and just as a person, he feels like he belongs in that world. It’s like you can view the entire Formula E grid through him. He's basically the textbook definition of a dominant driver. Plus, he's charming and good-looking—just like Ayrton Senna.

Nico Rosberg = Riccardo Patrese
Fast enough and technical enough to hang near the front if he's got a solid car. But not quite fast or technical enough to actually sit at the top with a great car. Senna—sorry, Buemi—is going to eat him alive. Just like his teammates have eaten him up so far. But like Patrese, he'll just keep hanging on and on. Even though his teammates ate him alive too.

Ayrton Senna = Andrea de'Cesaris
Not fast enough, not consistent enough, and constantly crashing. But hey, the guy clings on season after season like a tick. He'll crash again, we'll see plenty of him, but he's never actually seeing a win.

Jacques Villeneuve = Carel Godin de Beaufort Nelson Piquet
Just drives for the hell of it and has a blast doing it. A one-man army against everyone else.

Nelson Piquet = Niki Lauda
Exactly like Lauda at the start of his career—questioned, dismissed, and made a laughingstock. But as the years roll by, Nelson Piquet is turning into an increasingly high-quality driver. That win in NASCAR - Nationwide at Road America was a masterpiece. He had a few more really, really solid performances in Camping World and Nationwide too. Then there's Rallycross, and now Formula E—where he's the world champion. Wouldn't surprise me to see him back in Formula 1. If Symmonds came back, why wouldn't Nelson Piquet?

bird = = Gerhard Berger and Lucas di Grassi
The polar opposite of Lauda. Those massive expectations at the start of his career turned into absolutely nothing. As time goes on, the driver just gets dimmer and dimmer.

Lucas di Grassi = Mansell
Compensates for a lack of talent with sheer willpower. Which occasionally results in a random win. With a decent car, he could even grab a title. We'll see plenty of di Grassi. There'll be plenty of drama.

Nick Heidfeld = Nick Heidfeld
That thick beard full of bugs has never seen a victory. Neither the beard nor the bugs. Won't either.

I've said my piece.

What kind of dead man are you, acting like you have the right to forgive?

lonedriver43 said:Nice move putting that up. I was actually digging through some blueprints online the other day myself—total rabbit hole.

The only real issue is that nobody on this forum actually gives a damn about that. Around here, the only thing that matters is whose ego is bigger and which driver is hotter.

So, right now the big debate is "who’s got the biggest gear?"—and once we settle that, we can move on to "who’s got the softest."

Oh, look at you...

With luck, maybe you'll actually pull a move like that in Monaco!!!!

Assuming you’ve got enough cash on hand to tip her, anyway. 😁😁😁😁

At least let Desanka Šakić get a break and some time off. 😁

Man, reading through this lately, it feels like Desanka's been pulling triple shifts around the clock!!!

Good morning to you, my favorite Narcissist! 😁

The shots are a solid ten.

Though... if you aren't scoring in the Midwest, you aren't scoring in Monaco either. 😁😁😁😁

Ferrari is seriously hitting rock bottom. Both Mercedes-AMG cars are out, and Ferrari is stuck with just 4th and 5th

They practically had the win in their sights, too
Daniel Ricciardo takes the win
Max Verstappen grabs second

Thank God for that
Lewis drove like a total maniac right after the start—Nico just shut him down a couple of turns later and made him pay for it
Let’s get this fight started!
They're absolutely going at it
Way to go, Lewis Hamilton!!!!!!!!!
