Modesty - why partial? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Get this: I can't even start a thread in the ban corner because Modesty decided otherwise...
Jbte, since I first signed up, I haven't encountered anyone this arrogant, looking at my entire history since 2007. I’ve racked up 300 points total, which is plenty by my standards.
Because of my 85 cumulative points, she went ahead and slapped a permanent ban on my threads regarding Earthquakes and in the ban corner.
She must be absolutely shaken up, considering she won't even show her face to respond.

Much appreciated.

Timothy Jones4 is spot on.
Everything you wrote is absolutely correct.
However, I still have serious questions regarding how fair her moderation actually is—but I covered all that in my previous post.
She’s supposedly some kind of top-tier moderator over at Microsoft in the Help Desk section, which barely has five posts to its name.
Besides, she won't show up here, and don't even get me started on the Democratic Party.
The absolute peak of moderation...
I’d love for her to show up so I could ask her a few questions about Hardware, and just general software stuff too.
I can practically guarantee she’d lose points for sheer ignorance.

Now, I am referring to the specific post she wrote, so I'll quote it directly:
"Post new reports regarding earthquakes here, along with related general discussions.
For any other topics, please find the appropriate thread on the subforum."

Maybe she can report on the next earthquake, if she's actually capable of it!

Modesty, are you seriously going to slap me with another useless penalty point on the shipping thread?
Can I get some credit if I'm posting over on Facebook too?
Come on, please!!
I'm calling you out here—have a heart and just respond, babe.
I can't survive without your points....

Be a sweetheart and let me send you one single PM.
Why are you being so closed off???
You're acting so worked up that you even banned me from the ban corner.
But my dad is still tougher than yours, honey ❤️.

Have you ever even heard the word democracy?
Probably not, you're still a little novice.
Now, be a doll and show me your posts from the start of that earthquake thread to see how much you actually contributed... zero. You want a percentage? A reading on the Richter scale? Or maybe on the Merkel scale.
And honestly, who at Microsoft even appointed you moderator? It’s a mystery, considering you can't even reply to a basic post!

Thanks to Modesty, who clearly couldn't find a single coherent thing worth writing about... if that’s anyone's idea of moderation.

rustydrifter10, I'm waiting.

rustydrifter10 said:Before I even dive into this, let’s be clear: partial credit is almost never handed out because of a single post. It’s usually the result of a sustained pattern of being unconstructive over time on the board.

Take a look at this.
Modesty slapped me with a partial credit rating despite me having 80 points.
If I post something, I get penalized. If I follow your advice and stop making "unconstructive contributions," then there's no point in participating at all. At this rate, I have no idea where this forum is even headed.

Regarding that partial ban of mine, please explain exactly which one of my posts about earthquakes you’re actually targeting here.
I’ve made plenty of posts where I didn't insult anyone just to get flagged.

Don't try to tell me it was because of that one post where I added a heart at the end to show some love—the one you conveniently deleted when it suited you.

rustydrifter10, I’m asking you to look into this. The way Modesty handles moderation is practically elementary school level. My dad could outrun yours.😵🙂

Since you were running Windows 10 Build 10240—basically the old 1507 version—installing the latest drivers was never an option for you anyway.

Now you’re claiming you did a clean install of Windows.
Which version exactly?
If you aren't sure, there is a simple way to check:
Hit Win+R, type winver, and hit enter.

If you're on version 21H1, just grab 26.20.11008.1007 Rev.A from the site dated Feb 13, 2020.
