I guess the situation is a lot deeper than we want to admit ☕

Just pop the case open and check the motherboard model yourself.

Is this just some teenage rebellion or what?

2. I've been gaming since I was 8. My first game was Heroes of Might and Magic 3.
3. I NEVER SAID I HAD 6 GB OF RAM. I used to have a junk PC, then a laptop, and now I have a beast 😁.
3. The PC was bought at wholesale prices from an old friend (no paperwork).
4. I've only messed around with software lately; before that, I just played games.
5. I know about GPUs, CPUs, and RAM... but why would I download freaking Everest just because of my motherboard? I guess I'll die if I can't find the model number.
6. For gaming info, check out http://www.gamespot.com/pc/index.htm...p;pc&navclk=pc plus http://www.bitgamer.com/.
7. It feels stupid to argue over Everest. I just thought there might be a place on the PC where you could actually see this stuff. To me, it seems weird that it doesn't show up; I feel like you should be able to see the model for every component, kind of like a gamepad, USB device, or steering wheel.

You're still acting like a kid. Instead of bickering here, you could have just downloaded Everest 300 times and looked it up yourself.

Another genius who can't follow simple instructions ☕ Try installing a 256-bit OS on those 2GB of RAM, maybe then you'll be happy. Everything else has been explained over and over again in the last five or six pages. 🙂

Sure, there are 47 pages available, so just go ahead and read them.

It’s actually worse than Windows 7 when it comes to hardware demands.
Windows 7 in Software ·
Just stick with XP. That hardware isn't really up to the task of running Windows 7.

I don't know, but I'll tell you one thing: don't bother reading this thread because there isn't a damn thing in here. And I wouldn't waste your time Googling it either; there's nothing out there.

Give this a read:

PS: Resize that huge image.
That's just that NVIDIA GeForce GTX 200 series line
Don't ever cut corners when it comes to your power supply. 🙂 Over the last year, I’ve probably swapped out at least 20 of those cheap, no-name units just to fix issues around my neighborhood, but I haven't touched a single off-brand one. In a few cases, a crappy PSU actually took other components down with it—like frying the motherboard or something.
You've got a week to return it and grab something else if you feel like it—assuming you kept the packaging in good shape, obviously. 🙂

PS. Have you checked out Protis? LINK They usually have everything in their catalog ready to go; you just order it and it shows up the next day.
I don't know. You called every shop in Chicago and still nothing? 😕

And what's the actual point of that? Other than wasting everyone's time 🤔
Then it’s probably MS or something like that 😁

There’s no waytobe sure😁

What he's describing sounds like a dual boot setup to me. 😁
Blue Screen Error: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL in Forum Help! ·
You're in the wrong subforum 😬

It’s probably just a bad driver. I guess you should try reformatting and installing them one by one, restarting after each one to figure out which is causing the issue. If you're running old drivers, maybe just grab the latest ones from the manufacturer's site.
