Is the Spirituality Forum actually any good? in Spirituality ·
crimsonhound80 said:Nah, I actually made that animation myself on my computer—it’s a depiction of my showdown with Richard Walker79.

We crossed paths in the Astral plane, where he was busy peddling drugs to "higher" beings and their "lesser spiritual children." Okay, fine, he was just moving some low-grade weed, but I had to lay him out because he was trying to hawk bottom-shelf LSD to poor little reptiles and aliens... well, you get the idea, Richard Walker79. ☕

Anyway: a quick tip for future polls

Maybe stop including an option that makes the poll public? It seems like a lot of people are too intimidated to say what they actually think because they don't want to accidentally offend the moderators. 😉

How cruel and inhumane! Blow after blow, without end or beginning...

And unprofessional. You're going to wreck your right hand!

Why do you even have a left hand? Or a knee?

🙂 Good luck to all of you out there dealing with me. 🙂

Welcome to my favorite collection of Philosophy and Spirituality moderators, steelridge58. 🙂

Don't kill it! in Philosophy ·
neonowl7 said:That’s actually a deep way to look at it. Made me stop and think for a second. Most sins, if you strip them down, really do boil down to that basic principle of not taking what isn't yours.

DON'T KILL—you're just stealing their life...👍

PS. Are you talking about The Kit Runner?

The concept of theft itself hinges on ownership, whether you look at it through a legal lens or a moral one. And those standards shift constantly; they are often quite ambiguous...

So, let me expand on that slightly.

DO NOT TAKE

Gregory Turner71 said:boldsailor32... let's try this.

Apply for a moderator position on the spirituality forum, and we will enthusiastically accept your candidacy. Once you are appointed, you’ll get access to the moderator panel and the chance to advocate for your ideas there.
Sound good? 🙂

I can only advocate for my ideas if I am a moderator???

What about the rest of us mere mortals???🙏🙏🙏

I am calling for spirituality to be liberated from the constraints of religion!

My requests are as follows:

1. The "Spirituality. Free Style" subforum should be spun off from the Religion section and established as its own independent forum.

2. This new "Spirituality. Free Style" forum should be moved to the "Society" category, positioned directly below the "Religion" forum.

It’s unfortunate you’re linking rebellion to something so narrow-minded...

Jason Clark7 said:Next, you'll have Satanists demanding independence from religion, spirituality, the government, society, and civilization itself... 😛

That won't happen. They are perfectly content staying within organized religion.

Between the rising cost of oil and gas, paganism is our destiny, whether you like it or not.😁

Jack Wood43 said:How many of our requests actually get fulfilled if all we do is say "I support you" 😉? What do we actually gain from that 🤷?

Another one who offers support instead of shouting... It seems this attitude is catching... 🙄

And you get nothing in return.

Does everything really have to be driven by self-interest?

You're wasting your time again...

Shout if you feel like shouting!

You're asking the wrong question.

Do you really need my permission to jump into this discussion?

You're a free man. Do whatever you want.

First off, this isn't a suggestion; it's a request. And it's being made on their own behalf.

You don't get to "support" it.

If you actually care—speak up and ask!

Be loud and clear, for yourself!

Let's not overcomplicate things with a quasi-democratic vote that nobody is going to care about anyway—it wouldn't even hit a 2% turnout:

I am requesting that "Spirituality" be liberated from the constraints of "Religion"!

My request is as follows:

1. The "Spirituality. Free Style" subforum should be split off from the Religion section and become its own independent forum.

2. This new "Spirituality. Free Style" forum should be placed within the "Society" sector, positioned directly below the "Religion" forum.

First US edition of Kabbalah Today - articles in Spirituality ·
Harmony said:Honestly, if philosophy were ever declared a material science once and for all, I wouldn't bother showing up. But that’s never going to happen. 🙂 First, because philosophy isn't a science. It birthed Western material science, sure. But on its own, it isn't one. So what is it?
I already explained why I write here. Philosophy attempts to answer the fundamental questions of human existence. There is a raw desire for those answers, and that is truly all that matters. In the language of Modern Kabbalah, Desire attracts Light. 🙂
I believe I will eventually find my footing and adapt my approach to this subforum.

Over on "Spirituality," it's been a few days and there hasn't been a single response or comment. It's unproductive. Very quickly, everyone falls into arbitrary comparisons and parallels based on a "if you agree with me, I'll agree with you" mentality. Critical thinking is more developed here, but there is still a lack of genuine desire to perceive higher dimensions of reality. People get lost in matter and refuse to lift the heavy weights even for a second. If they did, they would have to admit they actually have no clue what life is, who they are, or why any of this exists. Instead, they stay locked in their "comfort zones," pushing away anyone who tries to prompt them to re-evaluate the "meaning" of their lives and existence. But that's fine. That's just how it works. Every fruit ripens when it's ready. You can't force spirituality. Desire is either felt or it isn't.

There are three subforums where Kabbalah makes sense to exist. All three share one common denominator: the meaning of life and existence. Each requires a different approach. Given that shared purpose, it is counterproductive to nitpick over formalities or stifle living content by forcing it into a single specific mold. Doing so doesn't just go against the spirit of the entire forum; it reduces the "natural habitat" of Kabbalah. If we put everyone in a "drawer" and separate those drawers further, we will all remain fragmented, isolated, and intolerant toward one another.

Are you commenting on your own topic from the Philosophy forum over on the Spirituality subforum, and criticizing people on Spirituality for ignoring your topic???

Or did I misunderstand something? 😁

How to achieve "Enlightenment"? in Spirituality ·
shadowtiger said:I’d say it tells us almost nothing—and I mean "almost." Honestly, I'm getting a bit tired of constantly trying to maintain this state of being "self-aware of my feelings at every single moment and in every possible situation," only to inevitably slip right back into my old patterns anyway.

So, you're an Enlightened soul who occasionally slips into being unconscious simply because you got bored?

Christian Parker2 said:Hey everyone,😎 this is my first time posting here. I figured I'd start things off by throwing a question out there that I can't seem to wrap my head around. I've been stuck on this for a few hours now and I'm still coming up empty. The question is... How would you explain the concept of color to someone who is blind?

Explaining color to someone who is blind?

Unless you're blind yourself...

Why even try to convince someone of an illusion?

Unless you aren't trying to convince them—you're trying to convince yourself. 😁
