Yes, the price at Walgreens went up. $5.00 🙄 That pharmacy on Broadway isn't even the most expensive one in town. 😁

Another point is the quality of life. If I were stuck in bed from age seventy until that hundredth milestone, needing someone to change my diapers and handle basic care, I wouldn't want to live to a hundred at all.

Hmm... 🤔 I believe it was this one:

Elderberry Syrup 1
Ingredients
4 kg sugar
1/2 kg lemon
35 elderberry blossoms
4 liters water
12 oz citric acid
Preparation
Mix 2 liters of water, the elderberries, 2 kg of sugar, and chopped lemon. Let it sit for 24 hours, stirring occasionally. Strain the mixture, then add the remaining 2 kg of sugar, 2 liters of water, and 12 oz of citric acid. Let that sit for another 24 hours while stirring once in a while. Finally, pour it into bottles.

It looks like I'll be making another batch today. 🙂
