Well, I already laid out the diagnosis at the very start of this thread. This woman isn't exactly young, and she's heading into surgery. Given those facts, I have to ask you...
Hannah Scott69 said:Anything classified as benign is usually just fibrocystic breast disease. It’s incredibly common among young women and isn't cause for alarm. Everything else definitely is!
If they end up excising that area during surgery, what are the actual odds that everything turns out fine afterward?
You can't just walk into a pharmacy and pick up Helex without a prescription. I actually asked about it today. Who was it that claimed you could get it over the counter? Which pharmacy were you talking about? Honestly, what kind of face are you making? 😁
Walter Garcia6 said:Is there any chemistry? They're just too old, and they've both moved way too far past the point where they could actually pull off something that messy from the start...
Well, looking at it another way, they haven't really shown us her backstory yet, so she could easily be a total disappointment...
Honestly, I didn't feel a single spark between them.
It felt more like he just got used to having her hanging around his apartment...
As for her feelings, I won't even go there. Does she even feel anything at all? 🙄

Haha, well, I'll definitely be the first one to step up. 😉

Now, after watching this, I feel like I should read a book now that I haven't gotten to yet. Hopefully, it isn't too thick. 🙄 😁
I have actually checked this one out from the library seven times. Seriously, I don't need it. Every single time I bring it home, I don't even make it past the first page before returning it. I honestly don't understand what it is about this particular book, but I am making a vow right now. While I was watching the film yesterday, I told myself: "You are taking this back to the library, you ARE NOT going to read it, and you ARE NOT bringing it home again!" 🙄

Sure, looking at it this way might seem a bit superficial, but when I'm watching a movie and can't see past a masterfully executed kiss, 🙂 Damn it, I won't write about this film anymore; I'll just ruin the experience 🙂
Regarding the first part, 🙏 🙏
Oh, how wonderful it is to feel that again...
As for the second part, honestly, I just read ten pages of this thread and yours are the only posts that are 👍
blueranger12 said:A ton of people I know saw this movie primarily as a critique of Japanese society. A total failure. Like, sure, the movie is fine, and I dig how she depicted the despair of Tokyo—I’d never actually go there, it looks like a disaster.
Give me a break. That wasn't even the point. The setting was just supposed to be the backdrop for a love story. But no, they missed the romance entirely because they probably thought it was too slow or too subtle or just plain boring. Instead, all they saw was a giant dinosaur on a building, naked women in a bar, some karaoke, and a moody, silent society.
It looks like I might actually be the weird one here. I just finished the movie, and now I have this intense, sudden urge to visit that place...
And as for those people who thought the karaoke scene was stupid... you just don't get it. 🙄
