This whole post is pointless, just like this entire debate. And claiming that war in Europe was once "unthinkable" is a piece of sci-fi more naive than Interstellar; we haven't even seen a single generation pass without some kind of absolute bullshit happening somewhere.

My issue isn't about whether we should help these people, nor am I trying to predict some massive socioeconomic meltdown. It's that I can't stand this total anarchy where people completely disregard authority and the law, and then get cheered on for it. Plus, there's this constant media campaign just tearing apart anyone actually trying to follow the rules.

Look, we'll help you, but at least show some basic decency toward us.
