Voltaren: Pros and cons? in Health ·

👍 🤣

ezop said:They say Diclofenac works almost exactly like Voltaren but isn't as hard on your system.

What's the actual name for that at the pharmacy?
Look, Voltaren works wonders for me, but man, it hits me like a freight train sometimes. 😁

Ugh, I had to pop some Voltaren tonight on an empty stomach. Now my heart feels like it’s skipping beats. 😁
Just kidding.
Homemade moonshine as a painkiller? in Health ·
So, I noticed this totally by accident—and mind you, I’m not even a drinker—but having a glass or two of bourbon seems to kill my period cramps way better than those heavy-duty painkillers I usually grab. It’s actually working better than the strongest stuff in my medicine cabinet! Does anyone actually know the science behind why this happens?
Is there maybe a specific type of whiskey or craft spirit that works best for dealing with women's health issues like this?
😁😍

Look, I don't even take them regularly 🤣
I mean, maybe 3 or 4 times a month at most, if I'm lucky😁

So, I guess swallowing isn't the move, but what about using it rectally?

Does taking pills cause stomach issues too?

Just because of heart issues??
How much did he even take? Was he on them all the time?
I only pop them maybe two or three days a month.

Man, after this whole recent mess with Voltaren and those supposed side effects—you know, the heart attack stuff—I’m honestly at a loss. When I get my period, nothing touches the pain except Voltaren tablets; they are absolute lifesavers for me. And now these people show up out of nowhere making a huge deal about heart attacks.
Jose Miller3, what am I even supposed to do?

Piggy said:I was honestly so horrified reading about her in the Los Angeles Times, but wait—did I get that right? Did her parents actually split up *after* she was kidnapped?!

No, they divorced before that happened.

It’s actually pretty interesting when you look at the facts—her parents split up right when she was only seven.
From that point on, she probably didn't have any kind of consistent male figure to lean on while growing up. On top of that, she was dealing with her mother's constant mood swings and instability every single day.
Honestly, in a situation like that, it’s almost predictable that a young girl would develop these erratic, unpredictable feelings toward any older man who manages to step into her life.

Look, fine, but you gotta learn something from this whole mess. It’s basic stuff—don't go running off with some random stranger offering you candy, and just stop messing around with things you can't handle...

cosmicridge5 said:Look, that psycho actually loved her in his own twisted, messed-up way, if you ask me...

So it’s totally plausible she was the one asking for jewelry, right? Don't be an idiot. 😬

I haven't even read Lolita, though I know you have...
Honestly, who knows? These days girls seem to mature way too fast, especially the ones coming from broken homes...
I don't know, I'm just bored with this whole conversation. There are much worse things happening in the world right now, so whatever.

nimblesailor3 said:She didn't actually give her any jewelry. All Natascha did was comment on how pretty the jewelry looked and mention she could never afford stuff like that herself. And you know how Prilkopil always used to snap back that he didn't have the cash for that kind of thing.

I mean, why on earth would he give her jewelry anyway? We're talking about a kidnapper here, and he's doing it to a 12-year-old girl. Makes zero sense.😵

cosmicridge5 said:He was basically holding her hostage with threats about anything and everything if she even thought about escaping. He kept her under such intense surveillance that she didn't stand a chance at making a move... 😕

Look, he wasn't threatening her with all that stuff—he just told her straight up he'd kill anyone who even stepped near her...

Taylor Wells68 said:Yeah, right... like she just sat down one day and thought, "You know what? I'm gonna bail in a few years! I'm way stronger than him!" Give me a break...

Look, if she's really that "strong," maybe she actually talked him into taking his own life.
Like, just looking at him and saying, "Man, look at you. Nobody wants you. Just go jump in front of a train."

Taylor Wells68 said:Exactly! Seriously, she’s just a kid!!!!! How on earth was she so terrified that her first thought would be, "Oh, he's being careful now, better wait a few years..." Give me a break...

Right? The absolute kicker was when she mentioned she'd been planning an escape for years. 🙄
Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if her whole interview was just scripted by some high-priced PR agent.

Patagonia said:What do you mean "how come not?"

I don't see anything here suggesting the psychiatrists are suspicious or think she's full of it. 😕

Who even said she was lying?
🙄You're in the wrong thread, man. This isn't Walter Myers' topic.😁

Taylor Wells68 said:Yeah, but she probably got used to it after a while—not right away, obviously—so she could have tried something at the start.
Even if she believed those old geezers wouldn't pay up, was staying with a total creep really her *only* option?!
I just don't get it. Period.😬

Look, it's not like she had some amazing relationship with her parents. Her mom treated her like garbage; honestly, she probably spent half her time dreaming about pushing her down the stairs just to get a break.
Just kidding. Mostly.
But seriously, she said in an interview that when she was out with that maniac, she actually tried to signal to passersby that she'd been kidnapped, but nobody took her seriously.

Taylor Wells68 said:Look, I’m no expert here... I just meant her story feels a little fishy to me. I’m not saying she wasn't kidnapped or abused... it's just hard for me to wrap my head around how someone could go all those years without trying to bolt... I just can't get past that part...

Well, she got used to being around a psychopath. Honestly, how many of us have spent our lives dealing with maniacs? It happens to the best of us.
Besides, he fed her this lie that her parents wouldn't pay the ransom—basically told her they gave up on her—so he made sure she felt like she was completely alone in the world.
