I’ve been sipping on these almost like they’re fruit juice lately... 😳 😬 I used to just stick to getting my Vitamin C from food, but I recently switched over to actual supplements, so I don't really bother with anything else anymore.

Good grief, give me a break. 😬

Only 500 $0.00? Wow, what a massive windfall... ☕
I honestly think they’re going to end up quoting you in their research, mark my words! 😍 😬

I had this absolute nightmare where some total jerk 😬 tried to yank a baby tooth out without any numbing, but he completely botched it 😲 😠, and honestly, once the shock wore off, I just wanted to deck him right then and there... 🤣 turns out, plenty of other kids in town have had similarly "memorable" run-ins with him. 🙄
hmm... you're going to start polling me already? 😬 nah, I don't have any doctors in my family...
Not quite. I’m actually studying the exact field that fewer and fewer people want to touch, which happens to be the core issue you raised in your opening post. 😳 😁

It was the same story for us. 😠
Sure, I did decide to go in about two weeks early 😁, but that’s beside the point... their paperwork clearly stated I needed a C-section. But then my sister was told she "wasn't allowed to wake the doctor," which is just absurd—honestly, hearing stuff like that makes me want to 🙂. 🙄
Thomas Peterson46 said:Anyway, I just hope that one day I can be a better doctor than any of these examples...
Yeah, same here. 🙂 😁
Oh, please... 😬 This is the only place where you can just list off ten different threads dedicated solely to trashing them.
And... what's actually left after all that? 😢 😬

So... does that mean the reason everyone isn't rushing into medicine is because they aren't all looking to rake in a massive fortune? 😬
I honestly can't wrap my head around why fewer and fewer people are choosing to go into medicine lately... but a professor recently mentioned to me that over at Johns Hopkins, the situation is getting so dire that professors might soon have to practically drag students into the lecture hall just to have someone to teach... because there simply won't be anyone left to instruct if this keeps up. 😁 😁 😁

Aha... based on your little poll where exactly 14 people bothered to chime in😲 saying doctors are prone to negative careerism... *slow clap*
What’s the point of all these questions? Pure curiosity, right?
I honestly doubt you'll answer, since some other forum user already asked you the same thing and got nothing.😬

Meanwhile, I barely made it out alive because they refused to perform the C-section my doctor actually recommended.👎

Well, aren't you using those lens cleaning tablets?🤔

Thomas Peterson46 said:Is it actually possible to finish medical school on schedule? I've been hearing some pretty terrifying stories about people spending ten years just trying to graduate.
Look, I managed to dig up some data regarding the average number of years it takes to graduate from various universities... apparently, for med school, it hovers around seven years.
Why wouldn't you finish on time if you actually put in the work? It shouldn't matter what the statistical average is. 😬

Then just go bother her sister instead, though I honestly don't see why you're being so timid with the actual doctor... 😬 actually, why don't you just scan it and send it over? We can all have a good laugh while we try to crack the code. 😁

left here said:whatever, everyone studies psychology..
Yeah, speaking of people talking trash, half the people enrolled in psychology programs don't have a single shred of natural talent for it...
You’re over here whining about how people criticize doctors, yet you somehow feel totally justified in trashing psychologists*... 👎 🤣
*just like over here, for instance.
If you honestly believe people choose to study psychology just because they're trying to fix their own messy mental lives, then by that logic, others are perfectly entitled to assume people go into medicine solely for the paycheck and the social prestige. Instead of actually proving them wrong... well... whatever...
p.s. In that previous post I linked, you brought up psychiatrists too... I'm starting to get the feeling you view psychiatrists as second-class physicians 😢 so you think it's okay to just mock them? 😈

Dennis Torres said:she absolutely has no idea how to write.
There is a massive difference between someone having bad handwriting and someone being illiterate. I struggle to decipher my own doctor's handwriting half the time, but honestly... if someone writes like they're using their left foot... 😬
