The Omen in Movies ·
Man, my mom hyped up this movie so much I thought it was going to be a total 😱.

So I finally sat down to watch it last night... and... well... let's just say it wasn't exactly... life-changing... 😳

Honestly, I’ll take Rosemary's Baby any day over this. 😍

Or The Exorcist. 😲

Maybe I need to give it another shot. Alone. In the dark. 🥳

Did you mean "exhausted" 🙂 or just plain old full of themselves? 🙂

😲 😬

If I’m not mistaken, you two are both from Phoenix as well, though it doesn't look like you're working at the same hospital or anything. 🤣

Politicians? They’re nothing more than high-priced actors performing a scripted farce for an audience that’s already been sold the tickets. 😢 😁 ☕

violent_femmes9 said:If you really want to shut them up and show them who's boss, just go get a medical degree. There's no better way to silence the noise than having that kind of expertise under your belt. 😉

Yeah, sure, go ahead—try to fight the system from the inside. 🙂 That's exactly how I'm going to handle it.

It really grinds my gears when people start saying "doctors" in that sweeping, collective sense, as if they’re grouping the entire profession into one giant, flawed entity. It’s such a lazy way to generalize, and honestly, it’s just plain unfair to the people actually doing the work. 🙄.

Casey Palmer5 said:The latest trend is injecting hyaluronic acid directly into the joint. Check out what Microsoft is doing with it.

Thanks. And hey, if I can push my luck just a little bit more, 😳, would I actually need something like that while I’m still in the "early stages"? Or is that stuff reserved for when things get a lot more serious?

So, I’ve been hearing all sorts of advice about what works for joint health—everything from glucosamine supplements and deep relief gels to hyaluronic acid injections.

*Though, I did see some chatter on a different forum suggesting that glucosamine might be a total wash.

And now...

I’m stuck. What’s your take on all this? 😎

What did you do to my thread... 😲

I honestly feel that people pushing Health-for-all should just get one warning and then be banned immediately. I mean, how many times have they been warned only to repeat the exact same behavior? 🙂

Personally, I find guys like that absolutely hilarious... especially after what I saw recently involving some guy in an official Herbalife car driving erratically in the fast lane, likely stone-cold drunk... 🤣 He really did wonders for his company's reputation out there in the suburbs of Chicago 😂

🙂
Patagonija said:Since we're already talking about phobias and ordering pizza, does anyone else have a legitimate fear of the delivery guy actually showing up at the door? 😳 😁

Nah, definitely not that. phew... 😬
steelstag4 said:Or are you talking about those moments where you have to call up some stranger or a big agency and you just completely freeze up?

Oh, absolutely. Honestly, I can't even bring myself to order a pepperoni pizza over the phone without feeling the anxiety. 😳 😬 🤣

northernviper392 said:Do we still need those exemption cards if we're actually using them?

Yes, they do.

That card is basically just for handling your copays, prescriptions, referrals, or medical transport—it’s clearly stated right there on the payment slip.

shadowfalcon33 said:Basically, an osteophyte is just the joint's way of "adapting" to the stress being put on it.

Yeah, my doctor told me the same thing—that osteophytes are basically the body’s reaction, trying to stabilize the joint by essentially locking it down, which is exactly where all the trouble starts...

I finally had a breakthrough looking at my X-rays and actually realized "where" those bone spurs were hiding. I've been staring at them for ages like a deer in headlights, totally lost. 😬

I could go on and on about my knees, but... 😁 maybe the moderator wants to merge these two threads if they feel like it... 😎 😁

This whole new thread about knee issues, combined with my recent trip to the physiatrist (yeah, I know, finally... 😳), actually prompted me to drop an update here.

Basically, a few people suggested seeing a physiatrist instead of an orthopedic surgeon first, so I took that advice.

Casey Palmer5 said:This might point toward some arthritic changes.

Yep, the diagnosis is bilateral incipient patellofemoral osteoarthritis.

Casey Palmer5 said:Actually, that stuff can start creeping in right after you hit your twenties.

Well... I guess I'm officially falling apart. 😢 😬

Exactly my thoughts. ☕

+ Clearly there's something wrong with me, because despite having tried weed before, I haven't exactly ended up on a mountain of cocaine. 😂 🤣

Well, obviously we need to argue as long as people are still out here peddling nonsense like this:

someone said:2)From what I understand based on my experience, heroin doesn't leave any long-term damage on the nervous system.
