Issues burning dual-layer DVDs (help needed) in Software ·
Three times now and it’s always the same story 😳 I mean, I keep debating whether I should just bite the bullet and grab some RW stuff from a different brand, but man, those prices are absolutely brutal...

So I did a little digging online, and apparently, you can just fry it 🤷

So, I managed to snag this DVD concert rip—you know the type, that classic setup with both the video and audio files—and the whole thing is sitting at about 7GB. I went out and picked up a dual-layer DVD because, well, that's just how I always burn my discs and concert footage 😁 but then I hit this wall. I got this error message

I guess the only thing I actually changed was telling the software to burn to the 8GB disc instead of the usual 4GB one, but still... nothing. Maybe I'm doing something stupid? Just my luck, I suppose.
So, who do you think might headline next year? I heard some rumors floating around about Kings of Leon and Coldplay... honestly, sounds way too good to be true, I guess. 😳

I guess I'm currently dwelling on this 😍
The Ugly Truth (2009) in Movies ·
Look, this isn't exactly "movie of the year" material. It’s more like something you put on when you just want to shut your brain off and soak up some Gerard Butler vibes, haha.🙂

So, I was wondering... are you maybe on birth control pills?
Burning a DVD in Software ·
Can someone please refresh my memory on how to turn TS video and TS audio files into a proper DVD that plays automatically once it's burned? I guess I tried to wing it by navigating to the "New DVD Video" option, dragging everything over to the TS video folder, and hitting burn... but it just keeps acting like I made a "data disc" instead of an actual DVD video. What am I doing wrong?
Yeah, you're totally right, Glastonbury is basically a different dimension altogether... but if I'm being honest and comparing Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival to other big ones, I'd say Lollapalooza is slightly better, maybe even ahead of something like Bonnaroo or Coachella itself, you know? 🙂
Personally, I thought the festival was killer. We got blessed with perfect weather—not even a single drop of rain hit us—and the organization was spot on. The venue couldn't have been better, and man, the lineup? Total knockout. Moby absolutely crushed it, and Kraftwerk and Foo Fighters were just incredible too. Honestly, there was something for everyone. I mean, look, it’s obviously not Coachella, Roskilde, or Glastonbury... but hey, anything is better than nothing, right? And if you ask me, what we’ve got here is actually top-tier stuff.

So, I guess it's my turn to weigh in... My boyfriend and my friend’s brother just rolled their eyes the second I mentioned that movie—let alone the book. Though, I have to say, my guy totally caught me off guard when he surprised me with the sequel for my birthday since I've been dying to read it. Honestly? Such a sweetheart.

I mean, the movie was fine, I guess, but I’m pretty sure the book was way better 😬

that little girl who got all tangled up with Alex was actually kind of cute 😍

I’m totally obsessed with the books, honestly. They actually nailed the first two parts in the movies—like that bit where she was selling her stuff at the end, or when that massive 50% off sale happened. But they definitely messed with some scenes, though... you know, like that whole confrontation over morning coffee or the Glory thing, how 😬

whatever, the movies are cute enough, I guess, but reading the book is just such a bigger experience. You get way more laughs when you're reading 🙂
Voice issues / Losing my voice in Health ·
Man, I totally get that. I remember one time I lost my voice after seeing this incredible band live... I thought I’d be fine in a couple of days, but nope, ended up with this unavoidable sore throat instead. I just stuck to drinking tea with honey and hoped for the best, I guess. That was pretty much it.

I mean, I'll give it a like, but honestly, like those folks mentioned above, I’ve always had a soft spot for Rage Against the Machine more much.
I’ve honestly never had a situation where a package—for me or anyone I’ve sent stuff to—showed up the very next day. Like, ever. Hmm.

Ugh, now you’ve gone and reminded me that I actually need to go pick up a package that was sent via USPS Priority... if my deadline started counting this past Saturday, and since Sunday is a non-business day, when am I actually supposed to swing by and grab it? 😬

And seriously, why on earth is the main post office so far away from my place? Such a pain. 😁
It’ll take maybe two days if you get the order in by 2 PM, I think.
I’m guessing there isn’t a straight shot from Memphis to Split... right?
Ugh, that sounds way too much... I mean, how are they even getting that to you? I tried sending stuff over to Mexico and Canada once, and I don't think I ever got more than $10 back, if I remember correctly... and that was just using standard USPS. What exactly are you shipping?
So, do you actually know anyone from where they're from, or is it kind of the other way around?
