I have this habit of fidgeting with leaves... I'll pick up a few stiff ones and just snap them in half, then half again, then half again... how many times can you go... then I'll stretch them out and bend them until they finally crack 🤷 silly, right?
Yeah. I do that too. Same thing with paper. A movie ticket, for instance, always ends up shredded.
Regarding healthy eating and all that... I'm trying to change my habits lately, but I just can't give up coffee. Is it actually bad for you? I think on the Keto diet, you're supposed to drink it black or without milk (😂). If I have mine with whole milk and sugar, is that going to ruin things?...
I have a feeling I might be dealing with this too. It doesn't wreck my life, but I can tell things aren't quite right...
For instance, I have one of those laundry racks in my bedroom. If I hang something up and sit on the bed, only to notice a single piece of clothing is hanging crookedly, I feel completely paralyzed. I don't have the energy to get up and fix it, yet it eats at me so much that I can't focus on anything else until it's straight. It’s not that I’m a total neat freak otherwise...
Or how I like to organize my socks in the drawer by grouping them together. If I open the dresser and they’ve been moved, I have to reorganize everything all over again.
And most things I do follow a specific pattern, like washing the dishes. If someone interrupts my flow or messes with my system, I start getting really agitated...
Anthony Rivera17 said:Thinking is a process we engage in at our own discretion... neither you nor a joint can force my mind to work if I don't want it to, right? So when I discuss the influence of the Marijuana Party, I am talking about a shift in consciousness and the specific sensation that arises following consumption... you can't falsely believe you’ve become inherently wiser or more spiritual, but you can certainly be aware that during the cognitive process while high, you tend to produce much more profound and spiritual "outputs"... I know for a fact that I was more insightful and spiritually connected after smoking; I spent plenty of nights scribbling thoughts down on paper, and later, once the effects wore off and I read what I had written, it became obvious to me that those thoughts possessed a depth and spirituality far beyond the ones I produce when I am sober... which, of course, doesn't mean one should be high constantly, because overdoing it leads to a diminishing return where the body builds up a tolerance to THC and the Marijuana Party starts hitting less and less effectively...
That is exactly it. It isn't that you instantly become wiser, but rather you express a wisdom you didn't even realize was inside you already. 😁
I almost had another episode the other day. I’ve realized they tend to hit whenever things start slipping out of my control, which is tough because I really value having everything under management. Right before it escalated, I actually anticipated what was coming. As the tears started welling up, I tried to talk myself down, saying things like, "What is happening? Stop it. Why are you crying? There's no reason for this..." (I can't recall the rest). Somehow, I managed to calm myself down before it fully took over. I'm counting it as a small victory... and I truly hope I can keep making progress like this. I am certainly going to try my best.
1. Quit smoking (I mean, obviously it’s bad for your physical health, though I haven't come across a case where it ruins your mental state quite like this)
2. Just convince yourself you aren't getting cancer. First off, you're way too young. Second, you've already had the tests done. You're acting like a hypochondriac... unless you're just messing with us. But I won't assume that, since you say you're feeling fine today.
That's it.
Oh, wait, there is a third option—a combination of the first two: quit smoking and deal with this phobia once and for all. Just be careful not to let one fear turn into another.
Look, I’m not asking you to understand me. If it doesn't mean anything to me, why would it matter to you? 😉 You just keep sending these messages, but there's nothing behind them...
I sing in the shower without a care in the world. I could probably find a way to put that to good use...
It isn’t that he doesn't mean anything to me, or that his words don't carry weight. It's just that when I look at him through my own lens, I see someone who is completely head over heels... blinded by love and unable to think straight, much like I am...
I brought him up because I’ve been there before. We’re just friends, but I’m actually in love with him while he doesn't feel the same way... I used to think that even though I’m a great person, I just wasn't attractive enough for anyone to want to be with me. But honestly, I am good-looking, sexy, and have so much going for me. It just doesn't seem to matter much right now...
