I watched them play against Madar. They were holding a lead for most of it, just up by a couple of goals, but then they completely fell into a black hole. Suddenly, they’d be up by four and then, just two or three minutes before the whistle, they slide right back to zero. Therefore, they're prone to these total collapses too. Maybe it's youth, maybe it's lack of experience, or maybe it's just that aggressive, "get rich quick" mentality you see in certain immigrant groups that moved to the States and brought that "greed is good" attitude with them.

God, people just don't get it. If the last album you actually enjoyed from this band was And Justice for All, then that was 18 years ago. It’s been plenty of time to grow up and stop whining. That version of Metallica hasn't existed for 15 years, but for some reason, fans still act like spoiled little brats, demanding the band play fast, aggressive stuff, let their hair down, and get wasted on drugs just so they have a "real metal" band to brag about. Just so they can flex how much "hardcore" music they listen to. Bullshit.

The reality is these guys are over 40 now. They have families and kids. Maybe it finally clicked in their heads that if they want to raise their children and actually see them grow up, they have to change how they live.
Of course that kind of stuff is going to bleed into the music.

He plays with his kids and spends most of his time sober with his family. Yet, these pissed-off metalheads think that's a bad thing. They think you always have to be a rebel, you have to drink, you have to swear on stage, and you have to make a fool of yourself in your 40s while destroying your own life.

I guess they think it's "cool" to stumble home high, bloated, maybe even take it out on their wives or slap a kid. That's what they're looking for, right?🙄

I was riding with Metallica right up until The Black Album dropped. Everything after that? Pure commercial trash, an absolute train wreck. Honestly, screw them—they’d sell their souls for a quick buck. I mean, what was the point of that whole symphony orchestra concert thing? Total overkill. It’s a good thing they didn't have a band like Journey opening for them... just a total DISASTER. Might as well have recorded a duet with Shakira and called it a day. Scumbags. But those first four albums? Respect. Everything else is garbage and pure Overproduction. They just wanted to stack the cash.
