How do I get to Main Street? in Miscellaneous ·
No worries... 😉

By the way... the pizza from that place is actually pretty decent (I haven't actually eaten in, they just delivered it to my office😁), but I haven't tried anything else on the menu yet.

So, where are you coming from? Honestly, your best bet would be to just head over to Grand Central Terminal—you know, right by that Importante building—and hop on a bus from there. 218 I think the route goes from Burbank over to Savannah. If I remember right, the first stop is probably near the Liszt center, then you hit the American Brotherhood Community, followed by Kirby, and finally you end up on Main Street. That’s my best guess at the order, anyway—it’s been at least a year and a half since I actually hopped on that bus, so I might be slightly off.

It looks like you might have hit send a little early! I'm ready whenever you are—just drop the text you need me to rework, and I'll get to work turning it into something that sounds totally natural and authentically American. MapI don't have anything better to do, I guess. 😁
1.) That's what they call a slap in the face. 😉
2.) I actually spotted some of them out in the streets of NYC, just walking around with schoolbooks in one hand and full hunting gear in the other—you see them everywhere, from local gift shops to those massive shopping malls. 👍
3.) And honestly, you won't find anyone in there sipping on water or anything; it’s more like they're nursing a shot of brandy or something strong like that. 😁
Easy ways to make some quick cash? in Miscellaneous ·
I mean, you could always try catching some late-night shifts on one of the other NBC channels after midnight. I've heard they pay pretty well if you can pull it off... ☕
Best software for making Flash games? in Software ·
Adobe Flash. If you can really get a handle on it, especially mastering ActionScript, you're golden.
Loose springs in Miscellaneous ·
Maybe try checking around some local auto parts stores or even somewhere that deals with farm equipment. I happened to notice on a few old tractors—mostly those classic John Deere models—that they have these specific springs attached to the clutch pedal that pop it back up after you press it down. From what I could tell, they look to be about 3 to 4 inches long...

It’s happening right now. And I think it's sitting at about 25 degrees Fahrenheit outside. 🤔
Poll: What's your favorite beer? in Miscellaneous ·
Man, this poll is like... four and a half questions long. I think? 😕

Honestly, if we were talking about beer, we could probably write a three-mile-long survey on it. 😬
Best automotive software/databases? in Software ·
You might be able to track down some Kelley Blue Book or RepairPal info—or maybe some other generic database—if you're looking to download something. But honestly? Finding those brand-specific catalogs is a whole different story. I highly doubt anyone just has those lying around. Most of that data is considered proprietary because it’s all about specific part numbers. Plus, manufacturers don't just hand out original equipment part numbers to everyone; there are specialized terminals specifically designed to cross-reference those OEM numbers with aftermarket brands like Magna International, Bilstein, WABCO, ZF Sachs, Bosch, or Mann+. I really doubt you'll have much luck finding a dedicated Ford or Citroën catalog (or whatever else you're hunting for) online. Usually, those stay strictly within the dealership networks and get passed down to authorized repair shops. I actually have access to one myself, but I can't really justify sharing it. If my boss ever found out I was handing stuff like that out, I'd probably be looking for a new job pretty quickly. 😁
What are you reading on the toilet? in Miscellaneous ·

Why on earth would anyone get on my case just because I'm not out here grinding twenty-four seven? I mean, seriously, why should I be in the doghouse just because I'm taking it easy?😕

It’s not really about how fast things fly out the door. I guess you just have to hang in there and wait a little longer. Maybe more will show up eventually—and honestly, they usually do. 😁

It’s basically just a ritual at this point.

I mean, your digestive system is a total mess. You should probably go see a doctor. ☕

I guess I'll be getting mine set up soon too, once I finally find a spare moment to mess around with my network settings. 😛

Most of what they're playing is just endless loops of commercials for deodorant, perfume, shampoo... you name it.

If I’m not actually reading through them, I’ll end up fidgeting with the metal toilet paper holder, tearing the paper into tiny little bits or shredding it with some nail clippers. Or maybe I'll be messing around with a lighter (trying out some Zippo tricks 😁), scrolling on my phone, or occasionally sending someone a random text like, "Hey... just taking a dump and thought of you." 😁 .

I’ve actually been thinking about setting up some solid Wi-Fi in my apartment so I can just carry my laptop around, surf the web, and take care of business whenever the mood strikes. 🙏
Best places to celebrate a birthday? in Miscellaneous ·
I can totally help you sort that out. A buddy of mine actually runs kid's birthday parties at his restaurant. He handles everything—you get the food and drinks, plus there's cake, balloons, glitter, and even a clown to keep the kids entertained. To top it all off, you get a DVD with photos and videos so you have the memories forever. 👍

Can someone please tell me where my Paint Bucket tool went? Or even just the bucket icon itself. I'm pretty much a total newbie when it comes to using Photoshop, so everything feels kind of overwhelming right now...

Hey!!

The "Paint Bucket" is actually tucked away in the toolbar on the same button as the Gradient Tool. If you just right-click that icon (it's sitting right under the history brush) -> a little menu should pop up... then you can just select "Paint Bucket."
Does smoking cause yellow mustaches? in Miscellaneous ·
My old monitor—it was one of those classic white ones—started turning yellow too. 😁 And honestly, that’s how everything ends up looking jaundiced. Maybe try blowing some smoke through a paper towel or something just to see if you can catch the residue.
Living Forever in Miscellaneous ·
rapidorca22 said:Living forever kind of reminds me of that awful insomnia, where you're just staring at the ceiling, losing your mind because the clock won't move. It sounds like absolute torture 🙄...

Sorry for going off-topic here, but is there actually a way to get more time? I feel like I never have enough hours in the day. Honestly, sleep feels like such a waste—time that could be used for much better things. 😁

ONT: I don't really need immortality, though. I think living to maybe 150 would be plenty. If aging just stopped once I hit, say, 25, and then I just lived for another 125 years before passing away while still feeling young, that would be perfect. 😛
Have you ever experienced an earthquake? in Miscellaneous ·
Ever since I got home from work, everything's been shaking over here. I've been checking Best Buy, Geek Squad, even local tech forums... just trying to make sense of it. 😁
What was that tremor? Where did it hit? 😕🤷
So, I ended up lending some cash to a buddy I've known for about ten years now. There was this one Saturday night we were heading out, and the guy realized he’d totally forgotten his debit card at home. I just covered him $100 and he paid me back the very next day. Honestly, I only lend money to people I truly trust—like my inner circle—not just some random acquaintance I see passing by. Personally, I’ve never really been the type to lend money to anyone, and I’m pretty hoping I never actually have to go down that road.
Best video players and similar software? in Software ·
GOM. It supports a ton of different formats and honestly looks pretty slick. 😁
For my music, I usually just stick with RealPlayer.
