Good grief—Zoki just swallowed her whole.

Paul Sanders5 said:LOL, here’s Ruža with that whole "Kolinda needs to give us a proper invitation..." bit. You can call them protest voices if you want, but let's be real—99% of those people aren't actually leftists.

Zoki is just way too arrogant. He doesn't have the humility to actually reach out and call Skoro's voters. It’s like his attitude is: if they show up, cool, if not, who cares? That’s basically been his entire vibe his whole life.

She just needs to slam her fist on the table and Ruža will give her the vote. 🤣🤦

Kolinda holds more of Mirko Škoro's base, but plenty of them won't even make it to the second round.
It's going to be tight.

Not every Mexican is a nationalist, but every nationalist is a Mexican. 😁

Jokes aside, things are even worse now with that clown Trump running the show, making all these statements and rambling about some supposed power in the Midwest. God, I hate this.
You can't listen to an idiot, but you can't just ignore those kinds of comments either.
Then you add in guys like those fringe extremists who openly burn the flag and make disgusting comments about female leaders being satisfied with their "ideology."
Who is actually crazy here? Why is all of this tolerated? Plus, they have these public extremist rallies... and apparently, they weren't criminals because the US government treated them like allies for the first two years before finally siding with JFK.
And then someone from our side raises two fingers, and suddenly their media pundits are writing about "revived fascists" and dragging us back to the era of Jim Crow or the liberation of Chicago.

We have our own fools, like that guy Skejo, but it’s on a much smaller scale than our neighbors.
There are decent, honest people there, too.
But instead, we just focus on characters like Trump and his followers and generalize everyone as extremists.

Long live the people and unity. 😁

It isn't nearly as pronounced here as it is over there. Vučić wouldn't be where he is today if it weren't for his popularity among the masses through that "world against us" rhetoric. Regardless, in this region, using that kind of language is essential for staying in power—unless you're the GOP, in which case simply mentioning him while you're getting crushed in the polls doesn't even help. A few flag waves before the election is enough.

By the way, I thought it was a joke at first, but it's actually happening.

Whether it was fate or just some strange, cosmic coincidence... it happened right on St. Martin's Day. I guess you could call it poetic, though maybe that's too kind a word.

Saw a recent documentary on those small towns in the Midwest and ended up Googling if Dudek was still around—and then this happens.

It is utterly baffling to me how anyone so deeply entrenched in their own ideology is permitted to moderate this forum.

I am well aware that democracy isn't exactly the strong suit of this platform, but at least there used to be some attempt at hiding how you moderate history and politics. 🤣

Yeah, because Trump is such a saint. He earned everything through sheer grit, never used illegal labor in his buildings, doesn't cater to lobbyists, and certainly won't profit personally from that wall he wants to build...

A saint, right? ☕
Look, I’d take anyone more sane on either side over him, but honestly, I don't see anything better out there, and I think people are hysterically overreacting to Trump. The great Democrat Obama wasn't any better as president—he was stuck in wars constantly, even more so than Trump, despite all that talk about leaving Afghanistan and Iran. We're talking about ridiculous imperialist invasions and the total wreck of Libya and Syria (at least Trump established a normal relationship with Kim). Obama attacked press freedom more than any other president and went even harder after whistleblowers. His whole campaign was basically built on securing borders, and he sent more families back to Mexico than Trump ever did. As for the economy or employment? It definitely wasn't stronger under him than it was under Trump.

And after all that, Trump is somehow the worst president ever while Obama is treated like a saint. Practically nothing has improved. It's just nonsense. Regardless, Trump is going to steamroll whoever the Democrats decide to throw at him in this election.

It is difficult for Americans—especially those in countries that act as global superpowers—to choose someone honest and good; it’s an impossibility. If they are actually good, they will inevitably become evil.
Trump is the lesser of two evils—in my opinion, at least.

Matthew Young35 said:It seems they’ll jump into a coalition with the Republicans whenever it suits their agenda, won't they? Typical.

You know full well there’s no logical connection there—assuming you have any sense at all—but it serves as a convenient jab for you.

Comparing them to the Democrats, the Libertarians, or those other groups that just follow orders is nonsensical; they are the polar opposite, and haven't caused even a fraction of the mess these guys have.

To be honest, they were the only ones actually intending to make a change.
Which explains their current standing.

They’ll need to act like a hardline movement now—"we won't work with anyone"—and then they'll just burn themselves out.
Maybe let the moderates try teaming up with the Democrats once; I certainly wouldn't mind seeing that.

But putting politics aside, it’s clear this topic bothers people here.

Yeah, I mean seriousness in terms of being twisted. Like, take Burzum—guy killed his bandmate before going solo and torched some churches. Spent a ton of time behind bars. Or the frontman from Dissection, who got busted for a murder involving a satanic cult partner before ending things with a ritual suicide. Then there’s the guy from Deicide (disturbing stuff, 🙏 really), rocking an upside-down cross branded on his forehead. 🤣

Just to be clear, I’m not out here cheering for any of that shit, but calling these guys posers is a stretch. They aren't like Cradle of Filth or Dimmu Borgir.

Clarification number two: I'm definitely not saying every black or death metal fan is a killer or some kind of lunatic like the examples I gave.

And clarification number three: Don't try to psychoanalyze me based on what I listen to. Extreme metal isn't my main thing, but I can't deny the sheer musical skill some of these guys have. At the end of the day, a good horror movie is one that actually scares you, and a good comedy is one that actually makes you laugh.

Plus, there are plenty of killer bands where the musicians aren't total psychos. It's just that raw, primal energy and that dark, ominous vibe in the tracks. And no, I'm not just talking about technicality or crazy blast beats.

That doesn't mean this music escapes the "seriousness" question, since people will always look at them and think, "What are these guys in face paint even doing?"

Using soccer terms: is Cradle of Filth basically PSG, while Dimmu Borgir is more like Man City? ☕
