I think this is officially our first real test of the tournament, maybe the second one after the matchup against North Mexico😁 We had the easiest draw in the books, yet we looked absolutely lifeless out there. Look, today was a legit game and a win puts us straight into the semifinals, so honestly, who gives a damn about the "impression" we made?

Look, I’m staring at this list of opponents and I honestly don't even know where to start. Maybe I'm just being biased, but if we were actually playing at our peak, we'd be at least 30% better than any of these guys. The real issue is this whole "peak performance" thing. This is probably the first time in the last decade we've even sniffed a quarterfinal, but personally, I have zero clue if we're even ready for real success. We’ve played six games, and four of them were against total nobodies where we either played with our B-team almost the entire time (like against Iran or Canada) or we rotated the roster like crazy (against Austria or Tunisia). Then there was that absolute circus against Brazil—they're a "special" kind of opponent because they basically cheat the game itself. And seriously, trying to make deep tactical analyses after their keeper pulls off some 80% save rate on long shots is just plain stupid...

So, North Mexico is basically the only match we played like a real team.😁 But one game isn't enough to draw any massive conclusions... at least not for me. On one hand, we aren't the real deal yet, but on the other hand, one decent performance against someone like Poland or Sweden puts us right on the doorstep of a semifinal, so you tell me how that works.😁

I seriously hope the Poles and the Swedes didn't catch this game today, because if they did, all they’re gonna do is park the bus in a 4-2 formation and we're dead in the water.😬

He said every single morning, the big bosses from the club show up personally to buy his shrimp and fresh catch, all while they play pretend in the media acting like there isn't a massive financial crisis happening at the club...

hahahaha man, people talk so much trash in this city, but this one is definitely top three🤣

Are we brainwashed? We’re the only ones in this entire country who actually have your back—and I don't just mean talking big on some internet forum. We show up at the stadiums and prove it, no matter how crazy or backwards people think it sounds. And all this nonsense about Madoff "saving" LAFC? That’s nothing but propaganda from the Socialist Party's yellow press. No sane person could ever believe that garbage, let alone write it.
Madoff is just setting the stage to line his own pockets, not even helping LA Galaxy. I’m telling you, Frank is eventually going to head out for a massive payday, and Madoff is going to pocket most of it. Plus, I’m positive the kid is pulling in something like $300k a year, but $100k of that goes straight to the boss.😉 It looks like he's already starting to walk away from his 20% cut (we're talking nearly $200k net here), and let me tell you, there is nothing clean about this situation. This isn't some small change either...

But whatever, enough about Frank. Let everyone believe whatever fairy tale they want; time will tell the truth soon enough.🙂

LOL hahahaha🤣🤣
Seriously, how brainwashed are you people? It’s actually insane. So now we're supposed to believe Madoff isn't just buying players to fuel his own shady import/export scheme that he turned LA Galaxy into, but he's doing it to "save" LAFC? Give me a break.🤣🤣

Someone nominate Madoff to be the next Pope.😍

Honestly, people just jump on whatever bandwagon is winning. It all comes down to who's serving who and whether you're part of the "in" crowd or not.

Man, things work totally differently over here in America.😁>

Ethan Cook said:So did the BBB guys even make it to ST after the fight? Or did they show up but get blocked from entering the stadium?? If you know, thanks.

You’d probably know more than I do, but all I can tell you is those mercenaries rolled up on a bus with big grins on their faces. There were about 40 of them, just enough to throw out a few provocations here and there and cheer for the team while trying pretty hard not to mention the almighty. That was it. No real Bad Boys in sight, at least not from where I was standing. They probably just turned around and headed back, which honestly makes sense...

edit: Word is a few of them were hanging around somewhere nearby, didn't want to be in the cages with the rest of them, blah blah blah

Exactly. The real issue is that it sounds freaking awful to us, and the people walking past our section are absolutely disgusted, wondering what kind of moronic nonsense this is.🤣🤣

Honestly, the NBA stands have been a total mess lately because the Rangers Fandom keeps trying to force it—the Rangers Fandom, over and over again. It’s not even about how heavy the lyrics are or the rhythm anymore; it’s just about making sure people AREN'T allowed to actually sing. It’s the same old bullshit every single time.😁 I don't know what else to say, but I agree—if you don't even try, you're never going to succeed...

The trip went south early and ended even faster, dammit.😍

ps. Since you guys love obsessing over stats so much, I can't wait for your Miami game. Since we're clearly "undefeated" online, why don't you actually try beating us on the field?🤷 The Full House in Cleveland is a joke, walking around town is a joke, okay? You've got one chance to top April 26th since you already completely embarrassed yourselves in your first three tries...

That’s exactly why the Blue Army hit the streets—because those pathetic losers online can't say a damn thing to our faces!🙂

Man, you really outdid yourself this time. You managed to top all the nonsense about Easter, religion, San Francisco, and all those other political rants. Bravo, maestro 86!

Daniel Johnson46 said:Man, looking at the north end of the stadium today compared to where things were even ten years ago... it’s like two completely different worlds. That raw, unhinged energy? Gone. That whole "I was born into this" madness that used to define us? It just doesn't exist anymore. Everything feels different now.

The amount of myths being cooked up right now is absolutely insane. It’s getting out of hand!🤣 Man, if I hadn't been around ten years ago, I might actually be sitting here thinking this guy is telling the truth. Seriously. But honestly? All I can do is laugh my head off at this nonsense.
"Oh, I haven't heard that before," yeah, right. Sure you haven't. If you actually give a damn about the team, that’s your problem. Personally, I only hear the chants during halftime because I’m too busy actually cheering the rest of the time! But if you're one of those guys sitting right in the bleachers acting like the backbone of the whole stadium, you probably heard every single note from start to finish. It’s all about how you look at it. Perception is everything.🙂

Look, I’ll be the first to admit that I talk a load of crap too. It’s always the same tired, repetitive nonsense. It’s always "things were better ten years ago," or "it wasn't like this back in our day," or some bullshit about how the old leaders used to run the cheering better. Everyone’s got a complaint—the crappy megaphones, the layout of the Bleachers, the metal bars at the gates, the sound quality, or how the rival fans always seem to drown us out. It's just an endless loop of "we should have done this" and "we ought to do that." And then, like a bunch of clueless idiots, people act shocked when most of the older guys from the North Side bail out of there like the building's on fire. They wonder why the average age is only 15? Well, newsflash: if you spend all your time acting like a bunch of toddlers, don't be surprised when you're left playing with toys while everyone else moves on. It’s common sense, for crying out loud.

One side just broke the truce while the other guys were practically counting down the seconds until it was over. That’s the pathetic part of this whole mess. Everything else about it? Just pure, unadulterated hypocrisy—something we fans have always had in massive supply.🙂

That signature is massive!
And why did it fall apart? Because the crew got fed up. It needs more action, more hype, more actual fun...
But whatever, I don't get any of this anyway. I'm sure the real ultras and the "fake ultras" will explain it all soon enough.🙂

mellowsurfer9 said:Look, we had a few possessions where the ball moved fast enough to actually score. We also had some turnovers that should've turned into easy fast breaks. But then there's the other side—those sloppy plays on offense, especially during man-up situations, combined with a garbage goalie performance. Overall, though, this isn't looking too bad.

Yeah, sure, that’s true, but let’s not call this GREAT play. It’s just standard stuff. If we were actually playing elite ball and crossing those wings properly, we’d be up by 5 or 6 goals right now. Vori would be racking up 5 assists easily. Honestly, our offense looks decent only because Kopljar is busy pulling in 7 saves—how many total saves does he even have in this tournament so far?🤣

Paul Jones7 said:That man-up advantage was everything. Instead of capitalizing, we gave up two straight breakaway goals. That is totally unacceptable in a game like this. We're doing things we haven't done all tournament—just handing them the ball on a silver platter.

It's more like...
It’s not like this is some total disaster. You can rarely pull away from The Frenchman in the first 25 minutes anyway. This whole thing will be decided in the final 15, just like always. In this stretch of the game, one or two stupid mistakes like this and the game is over. Period.
