Sophia Castillo35 said:It’s just the mods, man. You can change the title of your post all you want, but the thread itself stays exactly the same. I mean...Testing this thing out. Let's see if it actually works. 😁

As for the mods and supermods, I’m pretty much on good terms with everyone who actually does their job properly and stays in constant contact with me about just about everything. I won’t call anyone out by name, though—I don't want to end up hurting anyone's feelings.
Anyway, solid thread. 😍
Patrick Davis13 said:Passing on a double yellow line and speeding, probably—but he’s got zero proof besides his own word.
Anyway, my brother was in the car with me, so maybe we could coordinate our stories? Like, I wasn't actually passing him, but rather that vehicle was just pulling out onto the main highway, since it's a newly widened intersection right where I was driving about 10 yards before.
And just to mention again, he didn't ask me to sign anything or give me any kind of citation paperwork. He just scribbled something down on some notepad, probably whatever he thought he saw (honestly, for all I know, he might've thought I ran someone over...).
Patrick Davis13 said:Alright, let me break down what happened real quick. I could really use some advice if anyone knows how to handle this.
So, I was cruising down the highway on a stretch where I thought speed limits were higher. 44 miles I was definitely doing at least 90, so yeah, I was speeding—and to make matters worse, I passed someone on a solid line. Of course, two cops pulled me over. Honestly, I think only one of them even saw me because the other guy was busy arguing with some dude they’d just stopped.
Then, he pulls up to my window and
1. He didn't even take a photo or anything. He didn't say how fast I was going, just told me I committed a violation for $333, probably the passing thing... then he says I have to pay $100 right now or he'll just write me a ticket for $333.
But here’s the kicker: he takes my driver's license and registration to go write the citation, but he just scribbles stuff on some little notepad. He didn't give me any chance to see what I'm being charged with, and he didn't even ask me to sign anything! He just told me, "You'll get the ticket in the mail for $333!!!"
The issue is, I've only had my license for six months. I've got a totally clean record so far, but I'm a student, I don't have a job, and I am seriously broke, lol.
How can I fix this? Can I actually argue that I wasn't even passing people?
Thanks for the help, hope you guys can weigh in.

Three weeks ago, I attended a game and found myself positioned near a group of fans who were lighting flares and throwing them onto the field.
Shortly after, an officer approached me and took me into custody at the station. The justification given was that I had also been lighting and throwing flares, which is simply not true.
I requested that the security footage be reviewed, as it would clearly show my innocence, but the officer informed me that no such video exists—a claim I find highly dubious given that this was a high-security game.
Furthermore, while I was being detained for six hours—a duration necessitated by my refusal to falsely admit to and sign for an offense I did not commit—I was denied the phone call I requested. During transport, the officer even interrogated me about whether I had prior run-ins with the police or if I might actually be from a different city, making it painfully obvious he had mistaken me for someone else.
During the hearing, the officer testified that he saw me holding a flare before apprehending me. I maintained my innocence under oath and asserted that I have witnesses who can corroborate my account.
To make matters worse, I faced blatant discrimination from the judge, who remarked that it wasn't surprising I was targeted because I stand out due to my long hair. 😕
The court sentenced me to $333 along with a one-year restraining order prohibiting me from attending any future games hosted by that club.
During the proceedings, the officer intentionally brought up a previous protective measure issued against me (which was for an entirely unrelated matter), even though I am currently only under a precautionary measure as my legal process is still ongoing and I have no criminal record.
My question is: when filing an appeal with the Municipal Court of Los Angeles, can I utilize the fact that I have multiple witnesses ready to testify to my innocence? If so, what is the proper procedure—do their statements need to be notarized or something similar? Additionally, can I appeal based on the judge's discriminatory remarks regarding my appearance and her biased comment that she would trust an officer's word over mine?
I would appreciate a prompt response, as my deadline to submit the appeal is this Friday.
Thank you.

Of course, it’s a total myth to suggest all this match-fixing is just happening now. If anything, everything coming to light lately might actually be proof that people are finally starting to take real action against it.
Maybe we're finally seeing things start to turn around for the better! 🤷
I don't even know where to start with this absolute nonsense. It’s pure garbage. Total trash. Honestly, I’m losing my mind just thinking about how much time people waste on this stuff. It’s a joke. A complete and total circus. Stop believing everything you hear! kaže:
So, I’m looking for some real talk on what to expect here. When am I actually gonna get hit with this official notice? What kind of fines are we talking about, and what should my next move be? Seriously, any advice at all is huge right now. I’m 22, finishing up my senior year of college, and I’ve never even been in a situation like this before. It's a total mess. Also, I need to know if this is gonna screw me over when I try to get a background check—you know, that clean record check you need to show employers before starting a job? Is this whole thing gonna show up on that? Please, let me know. Thanks in advance.
Ryan Jackson87 said:Hey... just wondering when the summons actually shows up at your door—you know, whether it's for a misdemeanor or a felony charge (for having 4 grams)... and if the paperwork actually spells out exactly what happened (like drug possession), or if they just give some vague legal jargon like "violating Section X of the Penal Code, show up for hearing" etc. Asking because a buddy of mine got busted for the first time and he's low-key panicking that his parents might see the docs and realize what's going on. Thanks.
Larry Rivera83 said:Look, let’s get real here... It’s been two days since the game, and I just finished talking to someone who was right there on the ground—someone I trust completely because they gave me the exact rundown on what went down back in Newark at the start of the season, and honestly, their story is the only one that actually makes sense. From what I can tell, nothing happened. Look, I don't know who your sources are or who they claim got jumped, but I know for a fact it wasn't the Navy... and I don't usually jump on unverified drama like this, so I wanted to wait until I heard firsthand about this supposed massive brawl involving the LA Galaxy fans.
Nicholas Wilson5 said:So, what I'm hearing is I actually have to pay this fine?
crimsonsailor7 said:Honestly, you probably won't see anything coming from the IRS... at least in my experience working this stuff out in the real world, things just move along without much warning.
Are you asking if there's a general deadline for carrying out any kind of sentence?
The absolute statute of limitations for enforcement is two years, though I'm pretty sure they actually extended that with a recent change in the law...
crimsonsailor7 said:Since they basically never bother collecting those fines through any real enforcement, you eventually just get hit with a notice saying your fine is being tossed out in favor of actual jail time...
Morgan Richardson said:Bravo! Like, what even is MSN... omg... I know it exists, but it’s just not hitting the spot... Skype is exactly what I was looking for...👍
Arthur Ramos said:Alright, fine. My point was just trying to figure out if an appeal actually carries any weight once they've already handed down a guilty verdict. That's all I was getting at.🤷
UEFA has officially put on hold the decision about expanding the European Football Championship format from 16 teams to 24. That was the big takeaway from the 32nd FIFA Congress that wrapped up today in Washington, D.C.
During the press conference in Washington, D.C., UEFA President Michel Platini made it clear that this expansion is a massive deal, but they aren't pulling the trigger until they've finished more talks with the national federations.
"The whole expansion thing is purely political—it’s all about what serves the interests of the national associations and countries that see this as their ticket to the big dance. Our stance at this Congress is that we have to weigh every single possibility. We could stick with 16 teams, move to 24, or even look at a middle-ground option with 20 teams. Rest assured, our committee, headed by Vice President Thompson, will be diving into the pros and cons of every setup very soon. Personally? I played in the European Championship back when it only had eight teams, and I walked away as the top scorer," Platini finished.

Regardless of what sport we're talking about, the guy is the GOAT, even if he played cricket! You’ve gotta be the only person on this entire planet claiming he isn't the greatest. Seriously, go watch a single game, see what the man can do, and then try telling me he's not the best.
