Noah Jones92 said:Short, clear, and you hit the nail right on the head. That is just how life works—when you mock things, you invite a backlash, but it is truly tragic that justice landed on the wrong people instead of those posting here on this forum. The reality is that more Mexicans showed up in Athens than the Bad Boys did. I am not trying to gloat, but a hundred real supporters are worth infinitely more than five thousand posers, including those infamous sub-factions that started all this madness by creating divisions where you couldn't even gather three guys together because everyone was constantly at odds with one another. Being brought back down to earth isn't necessarily a bad thing; in essence, it provides a solid foundation for a fresh start, provided one actually learns from their own mistakes.
I have been reading through all of this, and out of pure respect for the guys over in Athens, I initially chose to remain silent. However, I simply cannot let this nonsense slide without comment. It is obvious to me that someone has developed a serious grudge against you. If you wanted to be constructive, you would focus on discussing the actual weaknesses and flaws currently plaguing this group. Instead, you are just talking trash and provoking us with points that are completely irrelevant. Bringing up sub-groups and the "one hundred real ones" has absolutely nothing to do with what happened in Athens. In fact, the idea of the "one hundred real ones" has proven to be an absolute truth. Anyone who is genuinely active and thinks like a true supporter knows that this away trip was a moment to defend the reputation of the club, the group, and our country. We talk endlessly about the clashes between different factions just to see who stands firm and what happens when things get real. About a hundred people showed up. My utmost respect goes to those men; they are the real deal. The concept of the "one hundred real ones" is not to blame for the fact that this group has always been infested with pretenders and actors who merely rode the coattails of the actual supporters. Whenever there is an event in Western Europe, hundreds of fake Bad Boys suddenly appear to wander the streets. Just wait until we head to London; you will see how many groups fail to show up, followed by endless internet comments whining about how we are finished. Historically, the Eastern side of things has always been handled by a few dozen dedicated individuals working quietly and steadily, without all this online posturing. The current core of the group is not to blame because everyone abandoned them. Some left because they were disgusted by what the club has become, while others left due to this insane repression. The old days of neighborhood crews and powerful sub-factions are gone. Everything has boiled down to a tiny handful of people. And credit to those guys, because for the first time in a long time, they are standing tall with pure supporter ideals. So, stop with the provocation. They aren't responsible for the pathetic mentality of the city and its people. Soon enough, the crazies will descend upon London and everyone will forget all about this, while those who constantly stab the group and the club in the back won't even be thought of. They will be too busy scrambling for ways to actually get into London and into the stadium. Out of respect for those people, please stop poking the bear and fighting about the "one hundred real ones." This isn't the first time you've done this. I wish a speedy recovery to those who were hurt and a safe return home to the States.
