My cycle used to be late by two weeks all the time.
Ever think it could be a cyst on an ovary? A cyst gave me nothing but headaches and always messed up my timing.
analogskipper12 said:Hey ladies! I was really hoping to see an M 13 on the tracker by now, but no luck. Whistle the test on Sunday, and it was negative. Whistle twice on Tuesday, and both were negative too. Still no sign of anything, and I'm officially out of tests. (And now everyone’s shouting at me: "Then just go buy more!")🤣
You're gonna get it!!!! You're barely even late.🤣 🤣🤣
Carol Edwards7 said:Hey ladies, I’ll admit I was quietly holding out hope for a little extra in my paycheck this month, but I guess I’m officially joining the club now... because I also got hit with that bill last night.
Honestly, this is almost good, 😂😂😂 all four of us ended up in the same boat—I mean, I was holding out hope for my period to stay away, but you never know what kind of plans God has in store for you, right? We all hit the same wall at once.
No luck with a positive this month. If there isn't a baby by November, I don't know. 🤣
jadepilot65 said:Thanks to everyone for the advice and all the support, but look—it actually happened. I failed. 😢 It doesn't matter, though—I'm feeling a little down right now, but I'll get over it.
analogskipper12 said:On Sunday, I used that little kit you get bundled with the SaveOnTests order Today, it’s another positive result from a drugstore test (Yeah, my first thought was that the damn thing was just faulty)🤷
I used the one for $12. the Clearblue mini—you know, that pink and white box with the strip? It’s always been spot on for me. (Not this one at the top of the pile, though.)
*************************** Ladies, my turn. My results just came in, and honestly? I'm officially out of the running. 😁😁😁😁😁😁😳😳😳
analogskipper12 said:ovak: My cycles are incredibly consistent—always exactly 28 days. I was supposed to start on Friday the 13th. And yet, here we are, still nothing. 😕 I took a test last Sunday (followed all the rules, first thing in the morning) and it came up negative. Tested again today, and it’s the exact same story. 🤷 Is it even biologically possible for me to be five days late and still not have enough hormones in my system for a test to pick up a positive?
Man, that's rough. Which brand of test were you using?
jadepilot65 said:Honestly, I’m trying my hardest not to obsess over this test, but it’s a losing battle—my eyes just keep drifting back to that little drawer where I tucked it away! 😁: I catch myself constantly wondering if I should just bite the bullet and take it tomorrow, or if that's jumping the gun? Then again, part of me is dying to just get it over with because I am so incredibly bored of playing the guessing game! Plus, I really need to go get my hair colored, but even that's on hold until I see what the results say.
Tomorrow morning is the big day. No more waiting around. Enough is enough—let's just get some answers out in the open!!
Ladies, you with me???
No more "maybe later," or "should I?" or "what if?" or "well, maybe..." or "ugh, I don't know"...
Robin Myers said:There are tests available for $5.00 as well... they just tend to fly off the shelves at local pharmacies pretty quickly.
Oh, great. So you're just looking to boost their quarterly earnings, huh? If you actually want a guarantee, I know someone who handles $0.00—but if you’re interested, you’ll be waiting about 8 months. Did you guys even read this? She didn't even need a test.
jadepilot65 said:I’m planning on taking my pee test tomorrow if I don't get any news by then. I picked up one of those Personal pregnancy tests and it's $13. Apparently, the instructions say you don't even have to wait until first thing in the morning—you can just do it whenever during the day.
Stick to the first thing in the morning. Especially if it's like that first day when everything hits you. Better safe than sorry, right?☕
slywalker12 said:I am fully aware that this question has probably been asked a hundred times already... My period is currently nine days late. On the third day of being late, I took a test—it was negative. Then again on Wednesday, still negative, but then on Friday, it came back positive! We used Blue Cross tests every time in the evening, since the instructions say you don't necessarily have to wait until the morning. Is there any actual possibility of getting a positive result when there isn't a pregnancy? I mean, the results changed completely within just two days... Thank you!
God, give me a break... Three hundred bucks just for a handful of tests?! Are you kidding me? You can go down to CVS, grab one of those thirty-dollar kits—you know, the strip kind—do it first thing in the morning, and boom, you’ve got your answer. Why does everything have to be such a massive rip-off lately? ********************** I think I'll just sit tight for a few more days. Why rush things? There's no sense in jumping the gun when you can just wait and see how the dust settles.🤣 My chest size is a bit too large, honestly... but sometimes I get this weird ache right before M. Left. Is that normal? Or just my luck?😁😁
My breasts are swollen and they hurt like hell! Ugh. Plus I’ve got way too much saliva in my mouth... I'm just praying this is all just PMS.
As for the headaches? You could try rubbing some Deep Relief gel on your forehead.
Back when I was about 11 or 12 weeks pregnant last year, I dealt with this massive inflammation in my neck. I was whining constantly from the pain and ended up popping like 8 pills a day.
By week 14, the heartbeat sounded perfectly fine and the baby was doing great, but then by almost week 17, everything went dead. Now, was it the inflammation, the pills, or something else entirely? Honestly, who knows. God only knows.
Chris... I can't tell if I caught that right or if I totally missed the mark, but are you actually looking for someone to hang out with in person, just online, or both?
If it's what I think it is, I might have just the thing for you.
jadepilot65 said:Thanks, but honestly? My head is still absolutely pounding, so that’s pretty much my entire world right now. And since I have no clue if I can even take any over-the-counter meds without making things worse, I'm just... sufferiiiiing! 😳
Tried that little trick myself, but it just sent everything straight to the bottom. So, I finally tried adding a slash before the new link—you know, once the images are small enough—and hey, it actually worked. Just messing around with it a moment ago. Since I’m a moderator on one of those mid-tier forums, I might as well pick up these cheap little hacks along the way, right?
But yeah, that's me. I don't stop until I figure it out.
Lupus, thanks for the hand.😘 It feels like there's always two of us on duty here, isn't there? One steps up, then the other takes over.
How do you get two small images to sit side-by-side? Putting one under the other is easy enough, but I'm trying to figure out how to put one on the left and one on the right.
I want them both visible at once. Is there some kind of trick to the link when you paste it, or am I missing something else entirely?
If there is a way to do it, how does it actually work?🙏
^^Don't mention it. Honestly, I learned everything right here from you guys. I used to be the same way—saving every single file to my computer, then trying to upload them to , then blah, blah, blah... only to realize it looked terrible. So I'd start all over. Again. And again. It drove me absolutely insane. I actually reached a point where I was just staring at the screen wondering how on earth any of this was supposed to work.
One more thing... can I just grab any random image from the web without using Photobucket?
If they're coming from the internet, the process is a bit different—at least, that's how I was taught to do it.
I find an image, click it once, then click it again to make sure it's blown up enough if it's huge. There’s a limit, right? Like 640 x 480 max? So, I’ll right-click, go into properties, find the image URL, highlight it—which is always a pain because you have to drag the mouse just right—copy it, head over to the post, hit that yellow mountain icon at the top, paste, and then double-check everything looks right before I actually hit send. Here, look at this one: I'm putting it in a smaller format since the original is over 700 pixels wide.
So, you go to that image, right? Just right-click and grab the image location. Then you head over to your new post, find that little yellow icon up top—you know, the one with the mountain and the sun—click that, and just paste it right in there. Boom. And that’s it... the picture actually shows up on the forum. Simple enough, I guess.
^^^Nice one, Ethan Barrett6. Honestly, if you don't want those annoying letters in parentheses cluttering up the space next to your photo, just wipe them out before you hit send. Then you actually end up with clean photos.
