restlessmoose20 said:Of course, yeah—I was actually wondering before what it is that really connects you guys. Same goes for the greens over in Athens. It’s just not easy to pin down an answer, I guess. 🤷‍♂️

As far as I know, there's quite a bit connecting them to the greens.
It's those shared club legends, you know?
Take Zajec, for instance—he's basically a mythical figure both here and over there.
Then you've got Vlaović, Marić... even the current Real Madrid coach, Igor Bišćan, played over there too.
He wasn't quite as successful, but they definitely respect him.

Plus, it’s almost the same struggle against management—same allies when dealing with other groups, and the same enemies, too.

As for the Romin fans, I honestly have no clue where that whole thing started.

Brenda Murphy3 said:Honestly, watching that Rudeš group—with guys like Prosinečki, Marić, and the rest of that crew—is going to be pretty interesting to follow...

Plus, they’ve got a seriously solid foundation in football fundamentals...

I just hope they don't fall apart right at the start.

Rudeš really has a rough stretch coming up—the schedule for those first two rounds is looking pretty brutal

So, does anyone actually know when the Super Cup is happening?

Adam Myers4 said:Nope.

And honestly, now that they've started pushing back these dates, I wouldn't be shocked if our first three matches get delayed too. 🙏

Just scrap the delays already, you cowards!

Jonathan Barnes5 said:It’s always a bit disheartening when things start falling apart due to delays, watching everyone drift back to the starting blocks as if they hadn't made any progress at all.

Unfortunately, it's a script we've seen a million times before.
It's pretty ironic, isn't it? They always use "preparing for European competition" as the excuse for these delays, yet they constantly get crushed once they actually get over there.

Garcia ended his contract with the Florida team
He probably got an offer from overseas

I was actually just about to ask for a link—I see all these articles popping up, but I can't find the actual video anywhere.

The greatest singer to ever do it—basically the female version of Elvis Presley.

Honestly, they don't need anything—unless you count hoping Šibenik doesn't pull off a win in the final round.
But let's be real, there's basically zero chance of that happening.

Joshua Hayes89 said:He certainly dominated during the penalty shootout, but I don't think it’s quite fair to say he carried every single match. The first one that comes to mind is against Belgium, where he seemed a bit shaky, if I recall correctly. Then again, the keeper for them isn't bad, though he definitely has his own set of flaws.

That was literally his only weak performance of the tournament.
I mean, nobody is disputing that Courtois isn't Buffon or that he has his shortcomings—that’s not even what I was getting at in my post.

Ethan Jones5 said:Look, I'm not saying he was bad, but overall, I'd rank him lower than a 5 this season in MLS. He’s more like a player you respect but isn't necessarily blowing your mind. Something along the lines of a solid starter who doesn't quite reach superstar status.

Anyway, fine, we don't have to agree.😁

I totally get where you're coming from.

Obviously, we don't need to agree.

Ethan Jones5 said:Hmm, I’d say Livaković really found his rhythm in the second half of the season; I wouldn't necessarily call him "consistent" for the whole year with this team.

As for the rest, I'm with you. Mišić, then Ristovski, then maybe nothing, followed by Ivanušec, Petković, and finally Baturina. That’s my ranking.

He was solid all season, but honestly? He basically had to go out and dominate the World Cup just to get those haters off his back.
He took way too much heat last season when his form dipped—there was this constant hysteria claiming he was washed, even though he was clearly working his way back.
Besides, there wouldn't have been nearly as much hype about that win over Chelsea if he hadn't pulled off those couple of saves right at the end.
But man, people are shallow—they only ever remember the guys who find the back of the net.

Ethan Jones5 said:Personally, I’d have to go with Ristovski. They had Luka and Miško
and Livaković and Ademi while things were going well this spring, but Ristovski absolutely killed it in every single phase of the game this season.

Then there's Baturina—he struggled a bit in the games leading up to this one, but looking at the big picture, alongside Livaković, Mišić, and Ristovski, he’s easily been one of the most consistent players all season.
I’d even go as far as saying he’s in the league's top three right now.

Ristovski was basically carrying the team when everyone else was struggling.
Honestly, this might be his best season since that championship run back in Rijeka.

Olivia Taylor2 said:Ivanusec carried most of the weight during Dinamo's spring run. He was the key player and the reason they locked up the title so early.

He finally stepped up
It took him way too long, though...

boldbadger1 said:Where are all those people now—the ones who laughed in my face when I predicted that Osijek and Rijeka would end up facing off in the final round just to decide who grabs that European spot—because, as it turns out, second place was always going to be a scrap between teams like the Portland Timbers or maybe even both of them fighting for it?

Well, here we are 😁
