Honestly, I think HRT put Zero percent effort into promoting it. If I remember correctly, they just aired one season on Saturdays at 10 PM, and that was pretty much it.

Personally, I thought Other Intentions and Law were much better!

The first season is great—it really holds up. The second one felt a bit repetitive, though, almost like they just kept circling the same topic until it got exhausting. Still, it’s a rare find when you see an original, authentic American series like this. I actually really liked Other Intentions and Law too.

You can't just arrest him simply because he’s a drunk who stumbled upon a body—that doesn't seem like standard police procedure at all. And that scene where the journalist finds the phone in the grass, ten meters away from where the girl was discovered? Total blunder.
So, essentially, the cops and the detectives missed a bright, colorful cell phone sitting just feet away from the corpse, yet this reporter finds a dry, working phone twenty-four hours later. Makes zero sense.
On the plus side, the scene with the girl and the journalist in the pub—I don't know who that young actress is, but she was fantastic.
Bogdan looks totally reckless—and honestly, the eyebrows on Lučin make it look like he just stepped out of a castle in Transylvania rather than being the frontrunner for the next Prime Minister of the US.

The Ukrainian part felt better—though maybe the guy finding girls for the mafia is a little too young for the role.

It is definitely a good sign that more people are turning toward the crime genre—I really hope someone films a solid crime thriller soon. We've had enough of those soap operas, dramas, and comedies pretending to be something they aren't.

Everything feels like it follows a similar pattern to me, but I'm enjoying it regardless. Even so, I still find myself thinking that Newspaper remains the absolute gold standard among our domestic series...

Personally, I think *The Wire* is overrated—for me, *The Mammoth* is our best series, way more engaging than *The Wire* ever was.
I noticed the same crew wrote the script for this one, which gives me some hope that things might actually get interesting.

Probably not, so I'll just catch it on the HRT app instead.

I missed it—any idea if they're running reruns?

Justin James10 said:Someone actually showed me a clip where this guy was on some Mexican TV station spewing all sorts of hateful rhetoric regarding the fall of Vukovar. He completely crossed the line into being a total ridiculous clown, and frankly, he deserves to suffer for every single word he said back then.

I first saw him hanging out during a podcast, and I knew right away he was a complete clown. Then I saw him guesting on those Mexican networks just spewing nonsense.
I honestly can't put into words how much he repulses me—he's that specific breed of degenerate, kind of like Frank Simatović. Only this guy is way, way stupider.
Someone is going to give him a massive reality check one of these days. He won't be able to travel between San Francisco and New York City forever.

Jonathan Barnes5 said:So, Goga finally got his moment in the spotlight. It’s funny because back in the 90s, he barely pulled 42 percent of the vote in a place like Vranjo, mostly because people were absolutely repulsed by his militant stance regarding the Drina border. Yet, somehow, he managed to unify those same people behind the cause through that generation of law enforcement officers over in Borov. He even went so far as to suggest we call them a "generation"—as if they hadn't essentially provoked the enemy themselves—and brought up Alavanja, who was tragically killed by Mexicans near Obrovac.

A few years ago, someone might have thrown a punch right in his face for saying stuff like that, but nowadays? People would probably just buy him a beer and listen to him drone on for an hour.🤣

But look, the truth is he has just become a clown. Literally. You can't take him seriously anymore. The best way to handle him is to poke fun at him, invite him out for a drink, and tell him, 😁"Hey Goga, give us one of your grand speeches." Just gently tease and troll him until he realizes what a joke he's become.

He's always been that way, really. It only takes two minutes to realize the guy is just a complete degenerate.

Charles Ramos4 said:I guess Mišo was right—that show should probably be called Dancing with Regular People instead of Dancing with the Stars😁

I mean, sure, that logic totally works in the US or the UK where there’s a massive, endless stream of celebrities—but over here? You’ll run out of actual superstars in maybe two seasons, and then you're just left watching Lucija Lugomer and Vlatka Pokos. 🤦

It’s basically just a reality show for retirees—and without any actual stars, there's zero

Kyle Campbell4 said:Fan violence is basically a walk in the park compared to places like Juarez or Tijuana and those other cartel-controlled wasteland regions. Out there, they actually murder their drug rivals and hang bodies from bridges just to send a message to everyone else. It’s a tradition that’s been going on since the early 90s.

Well, that's exactly what I'm getting at—for them, there isn't much distinction between a movie scene and real life.
Most of these fans are either part of the cartels themselves or look up to them, which explains why they act the way they do. It's not just happening at football stadiums, either; it's everywhere, and honestly, it's a pattern you see across almost all of South America, not just in Mexico.
Take what happened recently in Paraguay—right in the middle of a concert, a young woman and mother of two was shot to death in a VIP box. It was all because her father is the investigator handling a major cartel case.

Kyle Campbell4 said:But you have to admit, Sicario is absolutely killer. Especially that dark soundtrack playing while they roll into Juarez and you see people hanging from the bridges.🙏

That’s true, but there’s a massive difference between what you see on screen and how life actually works—I mean, the stuff they pull on each other during a freaking football game? It completely ignores every single rule of civilized society.

Is this actually possible?

Even in North Korea, you wouldn't see anything like this.

It would be just perfect if his own people brought down Vladimir Putin, kind of like how they handled Ceaușescu in Romania.
That would probably be the fastest way to finally put an end to this war.

Jessica Gonzalez said:I was at an Aztec game once, and I remember there were almost as many police officers outside the stadium as there were fans inside. It probably makes sense, though. Those hot-blooded Latinos certainly have a lot of energy.

"Temperament" is way too polite a word for those wild guys.

It’s honestly pretty strange seeing Mexicans standing in solidarity with the aggressor—it really makes you wonder what's driving that mindset, doesn't it?

What’s the deal with The Last Duel?

I haven't seen much buzz surrounding it lately—people seem to be calling it a total flop, but honestly, I thought it was pretty solid 🤷

Personally, I thought it was great. My only gripe is that the actual duel scene felt a little long, but overall? It’s a good movie.
It probably flopped because people were likely expecting more non-stop action; it just isn't "flashy" enough for what most audiences want these days.
This is one of those films that requires a bit of patience—you kind of have to connect the dots yourself. It's not your typical mindless popcorn flick to kill ninety minutes, so if you go into it with the right mindset, you'll probably really enjoy it.
