Ashley Perez50 said:you can pretty much count on it arriving at some point—tomorrow, the day after, whenever—as long as you use HP express delivery. otherwise, you're basically just guessing. even at the local post office, they’ll give you that vague "it should be there around then" line, but nobody's actually giving you a guarantee.
So, wait... when I pay the extra shipping fee $4.25 does that mean it automatically goes via HP express? Like, once I fill out those little customs forms and stuff
If I drop a package off tomorrow morning in San Diego to go to Los Angeles, is there any chance it hits the destination by Thursday??
It’s weird, because whenever I ship stuff, it takes two days for some people and just one for others. But how can I actually be certain it'll show up the next day? Is there anything I can do to guarantee it, or am I just stuck hoping for the best?? Because things are getting a little frantic on my end
Hey there, Can anyone point me toward a solid orthopedic surgeon in Miami who takes private patients? I’m looking to get my little one checked out regarding some hip issues—she's 16 months old now.
Hannah Williams5 said:When did this whole thing actually kick off? Did the scale of the issue intensify as time went on, and more importantly, is it still escalating right now?
It kicked off the day before yesterday and picked up a bit yesterday.😢 I haven't caught a glimpse of it today, so I can't say for sure, but as soon as I spot it, I'll give you guys an update.
Hannah Williams5 said:Are you currently taking any blood thinners or anticoagulants? The fact that it’s migrating downward is actually just basic physics at work—gravity is pulling the fluid down, plain and simple😉. It’s most likely nothing to worry about; we're probably looking at some minor broken capillaries or something similar . When you get these kinds of small bleeds on the face, they tend to absorb back into the skin incredibly fast without leaving a trace .
Not that I know of, no. Do you think it'll fade out quickly??? I mean, how long can it just keep sliding down before it actually starts clearing up?🤷 It looks pretty gnarly to me.
Hannah Williams5 said:Did you actually take a hit under your eye, or did this just pop up out of nowhere? Based on how you described it, it sounds like a hematoma.
but they're claiming they didn't hit anything🤷, and as far as I can tell, they really didn't...
Man, it looks like a bruise to me too, but they're refusing to go to the doctor. Seriously, old folks can be so stubborn sometimes.🙄 It's right there in the corner under the eye, basically next to the nose, and now it's starting to spread downward.😕
So I’m starting this thread because I’ve been scouring the internet and honestly, I can’t find a single decent answer to the thing that’s driving me crazy right now😢 Basically, last night my dad woke up with this weird bruise under his eye. It looked like some kind of deep, dark purple swelling at first, and when he poked at it with his finger, it sort of lightened up a bit🤷 We both figured it would just chill out and fade by this morning, but nope. Instead, it’s actually spreading down his face and it looks pretty gnarly, not gonna lie😲😲
This has never happened to him before, so I'm reaching out—has anyone here dealt with something similar?? Does anyone have any clue what might be going on🤷, like, what could even cause this😕
Oh, and one more thing—just to be clear—he wasn't in any fights, didn't trip, didn't hit his face on anything... nothing. It just appeared out of nowhere????? 😲
So, my husband just got back from the hospital with his bloodwork and urine results. Everything looks fine on the blood panel except for one thing—his C-reactive protein is at 35😢. Honestly, I have no clue what that actually means. I’ve been spiraling down an internet rabbit hole and found some stuff saying it could be a bacterial infection . To make matters worse, he’s been dealing with diarrhea for three days now, and since yesterday, there’s been a bit of blood in his stool. It’s honestly gross... anything he eats and he’s sprinting straight to the bathroom immediately. Just awful. He’s already done the tests, and now he has to drop off a stool sample for analysis, but we won't get those results back for a few more days. Does anyone know anything about this? Has anyone else dealt with something similar lately? The thing is, I'm pregnant right now, and I'm low-key freaking out that if it is a bacterial infection, he might pass it on to me. Is that even possible???
Kimberly Robinson55 said:Our big day is in nine months—still summer!—and honestly, looking at hotels around here or even down in Water was a headache. Most places aren't even booking wedding halls until ten months out, so we finally pulled the trigger on Bullin. (I was mostly scouting for that perfect dance floor, plus their menu and overall setup look amazing!)
If you ask me, that's hands down the best venue in the area for a reception. Their coordination is top-tier, the flow of the party itself is perfect, the staff actually does their jobs, and the food? Seriously great.👍, obviously I'm talking about Bullin
shadowseal2 said:So, I finally sorted out the cake situation 🙂 I found this girl who’s going to handle it, and honestly, the price is pretty reasonable and she’s actually willing to make it exactly how I want. Now I just need to nail down the band... I was checking out some photos from the gigs in Lida and Stojan, and they look great—plus, the price difference is basically peanuts. As for the videographer, I’m still totally clueless. Negotiations are ongoing, so I'll let you guys know how it turns out. Has anyone here ever heard of the band Horizon?
Kimberly Robinson55 said:Let me know if you track down a videographer! I'm actually heading into an interview for a camera operator right now, so I'll catch up with you later.
Honestly, if you go with Lida, you might as well just book their videographer, and if you pick Stanley, do the same thing... most girls just handle it that way.

never heard of that band😍, are they from San Francisco🤷
Kimberly Robinson55 said:Yeah, originally from Charleston (or maybe some smaller town nearby)
So, in Charleston you’ve got three decent options—you've got Ante Stojan Photography, Lido Photo, and Spektar Photo. I actually used Spektar for my wedding DVD and honestly, I was super happy with how everything turned out, but their actual prints? Not exactly great. So if I were getting married all over again, I wouldn't go back to them... I’d probably give Lido Photo a shot. Then again, Stojan isn't half bad either. Prices are pretty much all in the same ballpark everywhere.
Kimberly Robinson55 said:I can't really help you out with the band—we're doing a bit of a mashup since my musicians are actually from Indianapolis. But regarding the cake—I was walking around town the other day and stumbled upon this cute little shop that has everything for baking. Turns out, the lady who works there also makes incredible desserts and wedding cakes! You should definitely check it out—if you want, I can PM you her number and address.
I'm currently hunting for a videographer (and a photographer) myself!
shadowseal2 said:Hey everyone, I’ve been lurking on this forum forever, but I finally reached my breaking point and decided I actually need to join the conversation. Basically, we’re pulling this whole wedding together at the absolute last minute because of some pretty happy news 🙂. We’ve only got three months left, and honestly, we’ve checked almost everything off the list except for finding a band and getting the dessert sorted out. Does anyone know a killer live band in San Francisco? Also, where can I go to order a cake? I have a very specific vision in mind, but I’d love to hear what you guys recommend before I dive in.
If you ask me, the absolute best band is Orange Group, though they’ll probably be booked solid since people usually grab them a year in advance—but hey, it doesn't hurt to check... You also have Fenix Duo Bolero Bagatin Tex Mex
As for the sweets, in my experience, you get the best results if you hire someone privately... I actually have the number for this one woman who made a cake for me once and she was incredible... oh, and there's those dessert places over in the coastal towns too, they're decent... I can't remember the name right now, it started with an A... it's on the tip of my tongue.😍
Jacob Harris88 said:I am truly grateful to everyone for the overwhelming support! It means everything... In any case, they wouldn't let me take the lead during the negotiations—mostly because I was prepared to go after them physically. They set up a complete ambush for us... quite frankly, it was pathetic. They ended up paying a higher fee than they originally intended without even telling me, just to ensure the band would actually show up and play. For now, I’ll refrain from naming names so they don't find out and decide to flake on us that day, but once the 14th passes, expect some serious fallout...
Jacob Harris88, seriously, maybe try checking your DMs or notifications once in a while... instead of making me come over here and beg you to reply.
Jesse James5 said:Unbelievable. There's actually a right to appeal when a judge swaps a fine for jail time—or adds extra time on top of it.
I honestly have no clue how they even phrased it that way—it explicitly said there was zero right to appeal, which sounded sketchy as hell to me too😲😲, but man, if we actually had appealed back then (assuming we could have), would the whole thing have just hit the statute of limitations by now? 😕
