Ticket #2

LA Galaxy/Over 3 (-2) vs LAFC @1.50

None of these two teams have ever hit this bet in their head-to-head matchups. LAFC will probably just park the bus during this away game, looking to snag something on a counter or a set piece, especially since the Galaxy hasn't been looking particularly sharp in the league lately. LAFC is missing their key guy, and the Galaxy is without their main playmaker and maybe their top striker. Expect a controlled, low-key match..

Columbus Crew (-2+) vs Orlando City Over @2.10

Columbus is tearing through everyone right now, including those big European clubs, and they’re expected to run out the same heavy-hitting lineup they used in continental play. Orlando is looking solid and improving; guys like Morales, Maldonado, and the rest of the squad are playing really expansive football, which we saw when they went up against Seattle. I think the over is a very strong play..

Atlanta United (-2+) vs FC Cincinnati Over @2.10
Atlanta and Cincinnati both tend to play wide-open games with plenty of goals, so I'm betting that trend continues today. After beating Inter Miami at home, Atlanta is definitely going to come out aggressive. Cincinnati, on the other hand, loses whenever they try to play it safe—that’s exactly what happened last week against Portland, and it cost them. If they go back to playing defensive "bunker" ball today despite being stuck at zero points with Columbus and LA chasing them, I'm done betting on them..

I've been looking back through your posts, and honestly, you seem obsessed with betting the over on these Chilean teams. Most of your analyses end up being "both teams to score" anyway. Maybe it's just bad luck, but out of the last ten picks, I can only think of one that actually hit. You might want to stop forcing the overs if they aren't working for you.🤷

George Barnes25, what kind of cop do you think you are? You have zero authority here. You messed up and deserved a card because you're overstepping and inserting yourself into things that aren't your business.

Issues like this should be handled via PM, though calling it out in the thread isn't necessarily wrong, but you went too far and earned that card..

Then you just went off the rails and started rambling about clans and all that nonsense..

Personally, when I see someone either doesn't know the rules or is breaking them, I send them a PM to fix it. If they keep doing it, I report the post or message the moderators directly..

You immediately went on the offensive like we're all mortal enemies. From my own experience, I'm certain that forum mods usually give a warning for minor infractions first, and only step in if it keeps happening—but you just keep repeating your own mistakes..

Quite frankly, I've complained about posts and within threads many times, but after a while, I realized it's much easier to just send a PM or report a post (depending on who it is) rather than making a post myself that will just end up being deleted by me or a mod because it doesn't belong there..

So, I’ll ask you: if you're still reading this, what is your main reason for leaving the forum?🤷

Just please don't bring up clans again.😉

The LA Galaxy playing away 🤦
I honestly think Minnesota United might walk away with a draw, if not an outright win.
The only way this bet pays off is if you're playing some joke parlay.

Man, you weren't kidding. Typical LA Galaxy road performance right there.👍

By the 60th minute, I actually stopped watching because it was obvious absolutely nothing was going to happen.

James Taylor3 said:I actually agree with Ethan Jones5; the team looks way better even with these youngsters in the lineup. It was pretty obvious during the first match.
Dammit, the guys had possession 75% of the time, while Schalke looked completely useless—you can tell they're totally outclassed.

If they open up today, which they have to if they want to chase the deficit, they could easily get caught on a counter, especially since their attack isn't all that lethal. 🤷

I'm not sure if the handicap will hit, but I think we take the win again today.

But yeah, I'm with you—this isn't worth a heavy bet, maybe just a tiny little flyer.

Last night I wanted to go for a straight two-goal win, but once I saw those odds, there was no way I could pass that up. :gambler:

The only way this game goes Schalke's way is if someone throws a wrench in the works early on and causes panic in our squad. In my opinion, I wasn't looking for some crazy long shot; I just figured because of the odds, the stakes are slightly higher than usual. Usually, I’d put money on a pair at around +100, but here I’m bumping up the stake because the value is too good.

Basically, I believe in our boys. Maybe for the first time since I started following the team, I don't have any doubts about us moving on. These guys are going to fight tooth and nail on the pitch; they aren't going to play safe with the scoreline, and Schalke simply can't keep up with them.

Man, I'm always the pessimistic one or the cautious guy, but for the first time, I'm actually feeling the hype...

Skonto-Hajduk F+2 @5 SS

It’s pretty obvious Hajduk is the superior side here. Skonto spent the whole match playing defense, just waiting to spring a counterattack. They finally got one chance in the 92nd minute, but they missed. Besides that, they had one dangerous corner and a single drive, but that was about it for them. Meanwhile, Hajduk is playing an aggressive high line and controlling about 75% of the possession—if not more. Honestly, they could easily toss in a few more goals.

Hajduk also looked much sharper in terms of work rate. Once Skonto is forced to open up because they have to chase the game, the guys should capitalize and put this thing to bed.

Anyone who watched the first leg knows exactly what I mean. These young players aren't going to sit back; they’ll be looking to bury as many as they can. As long as we don't run into any absolute disasters that trigger a total meltdown, we're golden.🙂

I'm leaning a bit heavier on this bet given the odds, but I'm fully confident Hajduk takes this. It’s really just a question of the margin.

Let's go, boys!🎉 🎉

Edit: Dammit, almost hit "post" before I was finished typing.🙂

Look, I’m only addressing the part about mentioning youth players because you’re making it sound like we're facing some powerhouse opponent...

To be honest, I didn't even finish reading the rest of your post. I just wanted to point out that your first point isn't even accurate, and I'll explain further that I've been watching them, and they actually have even less experience than you think.👍

I threw in a few jokes here and there, so maybe the main point of my post got a bit lost in the shuffle..

Thomas Stewart87 said:To me, this looks like people just riding the Los Angeles FC hype and betting on the name alone... go ahead, list the starting eleven for Los Angeles FC and tell me what kind of experience those guys actually have. If you aren't expecting a blowout and you're already looking at small odds, I think it’s smarter to bet on under 3.5 goals at @ 1.40

edit: sorry, I thought you were betting on a Los Angeles FC win, but regardless, with a defense as cohesive as theirs, it would take a miracle for them not to concede a goal

Why is everyone piling onto Norway today? 🙂

I don't think Los Angeles FC will slip up here. The Latvian side is a much weaker squad that's just going to sit back and defend. Personally, I took the handicap on Los Angeles FC.

What "lack of experience" are you even talking about? 🤷

The EuroLeague top scorer Vukusic, Trebotic coming off the assist of his life in Europe, Maloca, Jozinovic, Fog, Caktas, Blazevic—by our standards, these are all veteran players.

Then why don't you try listing some experienced players from Skonto? 🙂

Seriously though, from what I've seen, I think Skonto is just too weak. It feels like our people are overestimating Los Angeles FC and its players, and assuming the Latvians can only leave undefeated by some stroke of luck. We'll see how the boys play tonight.

Charles Doyle6 said:USA - Italy translation 0-0

We’ve got two powerhouse defenses facing off in this opening match. I'm expecting a gritty, low-scoring affair where chances are hard to come by—honestly, I'm calling for the first 0-0 draw of the tournament. The stakes are massive, the talent levels are dead even, and frankly, it's about time we saw a scoreless game in this competition.

Hopefully, that's enough detail for you.☕

You nailed the vibe, though there was definitely some luck involved.👍

James Taylor3 said:The referee for this one is Frenchman Stephane Lannoy, who isn't shy about reaching for his pocket. He averages 4.00 yellows per game, but this season he's been running hot at 4.75 cards per match.
He's officiated two games in this Euro so far, handing out 10 total yellows—4 in one match and 6 in the other.
With everything on the line for both sides, tensions are bound to boil over. The Americans have a few physical players like Khedira, Schweinsteiger, and Badstuber, and the Italians aren't known for playing soft either. If one side takes an early lead, things will get heated; the trailing team will ramp up the aggression while the leaders try to kill the clock. Both scenarios are perfect for a ref like this who clearly doesn't mind throwing cards.

USA vs. Italy: Over 4.5 yellow cards @ 2.01 Pinnacle 3/10

I'm taking this one too. Looking at the ref's stats now, I'm even more confident this hits.

I'll also put some money on a Penalty and a Red Card during the match @ 12.96. Given the intensity of these teams and the stage they're playing on, I expect a powder keg.

Even if I end up losing my bet, this referee—Rizzoli, or whatever his name is—is the real deal. He calls the heavy contact, lets the guys actually play, and doesn't fall for any of that diving nonsense. In my book, he's the guy you want officiating the championship🤷

James Taylor3 said:Exactly, cards get cleared after the quarterfinals, but anyone picking up a suspension tonight is out for the semifinals if they make it that far.

That only applies to players who are already on a yellow and don't pick one up tonight.

Personally, I’m expecting more yellows. The French defense looks wide open aside from Debuchy, and both sides have lethal attackers paired with pretty shaky backlines.

The ref doesn't usually hand out many cards, but he might go heavy today, so we'll see. If you hadn't given me your "analysis," I wouldn't be thinking this way, but you've got me convinced.😉
Soccer Betting in Betting Forum ·
I wouldn't bother worrying about the yellow cards. They clear them out after the quarterfinals anyway, so players aren't going to hold back much.🤷

George Ward7 said:There's no way you found this three minutes before kickoff. Impossible. I checked the lottery just twenty minutes before the start, and the odds had already dropped to 3.00.

You're probably just betting on Klose scoring, but he's playing to get that firstgoal😉.
Soccer Betting in Betting Forum ·
These Americans either go all out or don't bother at all... they just announced Klose, Reus, and Schürrle are starting. I have a feeling only Klose will be in the lineup of those three, which might actually make things tough for the Greeks on defense. Dealing with Gomez is much easier than trying to hold off Kloseon when you're defending against Greece. Maybe they're underestimating the Greeks and are just testing out tactics for the semifinals.🤷

Let it rain, because they'll get what's coming when the Greeks catch them off guard.☕

USA vs Greece 1.pdng-Germany won't give @2,70 Bet 4/10

The Greeks and Germans both have established systems they stick to, even if they've tweaked things recently. Greece is playing more aggressively now, keeping more possession, whereas the Germans seem to have lost some of their tactical fluidity after bringing in Gomez—which, honestly, feels like a mistake despite him being a top-tier striker.

I don't expect any massive shifts in playstyle tonight. Luckily, Coach Low seems to feel the same way, though he keeps leaning on the same veteran players when there are plenty of better options sitting right on the bench.

With Papadopoulos and Chalkias out due to injury, Greece has bolstered their defense with some solid subs. My only real concern is Tzavellas stepping in for Holebas, but hopefully, he holds his own. We'll miss Karagounis, but he isn't the sole engine of this Greek squad; as long as the defense stays organized, they'll be fine.

Since this is a knockout match, I’m expecting both sides to play it safe. I'm betting the Greeks won't suffer a total meltdown in the opening minutes.

Ethan Jones5 said:James Taylor3, I like the Portuguese players too, but I think I'll pass for now and hold out for a better payout.

Ronaldo C. (idg)—Are you kidding me right now? @2,30

The Portuguese showed they actually know how to play and that they have a squad in the truest sense of the word. This group understands they have Ronaldo on their side, so they’re constantly looking for that final pass because they genuinely believe in him. Even though they didn't exactly shine in the first two games, their finishing in the third proved why he's still the best in the world—between those two goals and hitting the woodwork two or three times, they could have easily had a few more.

The core lineup relies heavily on him, so we’re definitely looking at that same dynamic tonight. Honestly, I think this bet offers way better value than just putting a single unit on Portugal. It's almost too predictable—Portugal is probably going to walk away with a 5-0 blowout, and Ronaldo will finish the night without a goal.☕

If James Taylor3 goes half all-in, those Greeks are going to get absolutely smoked by the Germans.

It worked out fine in the end. Honestly, I was starting to worry they wouldn't pull it off... It feels like there's just zero luck on our side during this tournament. Feels like we've already been screwed over five times now.🤷

@James Taylor3/">@@James Taylor3 I like the Americans too, but I think I'll pass in favor of a potentially better payout..

Cristiano R. (idg)-To score-Yes for @2.30

The Americans have shown they actually know how to play and possess a squad in every sense of the word. This team knows they have Ronaldo, so they’re constantly feeding him those final passes because they believe in him. Even though he didn't exactly shine in the first two games, his clinical finishing in the third showed exactly why he's the best on the planet—between the two goals and hitting the woodwork two or three times, he had several other solid looks.

Basically, the whole team relies on him, and that’s definitely how it'll be tonight. To me, this bet feels like it has more value than just putting a single unit on an American win.. obviously, the Americans will probably cruise to a 5-0 victory while Ronaldo fails to find the net.☕

And James Taylor3, don't go half all-in; the Greeks are going to give the Americans a hell of a fight..

USA vs. Spain 1 @9 Hattrick

Solid odds. If our guys play perfectly while the Spaniards stumble, we could actually pull this off. I’m expecting some tactical masterstrokes from Coach Adams that even the greats haven't seen before, topped off by a 91st-minute free kick goal from the keeper to make it 3-2 and send Spain packing.☕

Basically, if you combine our team's insane grit, Adams' tactical shifts and lineup changes(🙂), and Spain's sloppy play and nerves... it might just happen. Our guys always play their best against the giants, and honestly, even if we lose, I won't care much since the stakes are purely symbolic.
Soccer Betting in Betting Forum ·
USA vs. Czech Republic 1 @2.40 SS

The USA needs a win here to move forward, so I’m expecting an aggressive tactical approach. Honestly, the Czechs haven't impressed me one bit so far... they got absolutely crushed by Russia and then barely showed any life for six minutes against Greece. Regardless, the Americans have looked much sharper, and now they’ll probably regret that sloppy game against Greece where they basically handed everything over on a silver platter. Also, it's worth noting that Rosicky is a huge question mark for today's lineup, as is another Czech player who really ought to be on the pitch, but that doesn't change much about the strategy. I think the Czechs will try to play for a draw, but it's going to come back to haunt them.
Soccer Betting in Betting Forum ·
USA vs France 2 @2.15 Hattrick

Honestly, the French are just a class above here and we need a win. Instead of playing a solid lineup, Blanc swapped out the right guys—bringing in Chlich instead of the better options like Malouda or Menenez. It looks like the Americans are sticking to the same starting XI, but honestly, I don't care. If the French play even 70% of what they're capable of, they should take this, and the odds are too good to pass up. I’m going in with a heavy stake—or as the forum addicts would call it, a "half all-in."😁
