To figure out if you're pregnant, all you really need is a sharp eye and a mirror. If your cervix looks bright red, you can be pretty sure. Plus, your nipples get shiny and slightly swollen—for me, it also triggers a nose cold and colostrum production.
There are plenty of signs.😬

hmm, if we're going by the color of my lady parts, then I'm basically pregnant all the time😬
Charles Ramirez59 said:You can't just use math to pinpoint fertile days with any real certainty. If anything, it's more of a guessing game.

If you actually want to know, you’re looking at tracking basal body temperature, monitoring cervical mucus, checking cervical position, or getting regular ultrasounds... something along those lines. Purely from a mathematical standpoint? It’s just not reliable.

That’s the truth, which is why I don't bother overthinking the numbers too much.
I tried using Maybe Baby, and according to that, I was fertile yesterday, then suddenly not today, then back to being fertile again tomorrow 😕 who knows really...
placidgardener19 said:It definitely looks like it... honestly, it could totally be ovulation, no doubt about it.
If you’re under 25, you're looking at an average of about 14 ovulations a year—so, yeah, having two in a single month happens way more often than people think!
I actually know a girl who ended up pregnant on just the 9th day of her cycle—purely by chance, too.

So, if you're actually hoping for a baby, start getting excited!
But, if you are *not* looking to expand the family right now... well, maybe start panicking a little bit? 🙂
Just hang tight for about 15 days, then grab a test and it'll tell you exactly where you stand.

I am 😳

It’s pretty rare for people to just jump straight into parenthood without any effort. You'd have to be incredibly lucky. From what I know, everyone usually has to work at it a little bit first.
Just check out http://www.mayoclinic.org/tests-procedures/ovulation-tests/about/acm-20354398. That'll probably give you a better idea of when you're actually fertile and when you aren't.

Based on this calculation, my fertile window actually kicked off back on September 2nd, which means that unprotected sex on the 6th happened right in the middle of it... 😳

Honestly, half my classmates at State University got pregnant on their first attempt totally by accident... 😬we’re basically having a massive baby boom here😉

But the real question is, do they even want this pregnancy?

I wouldn't, but he definitely would.😳
driftingseal3 said:In that case, it’s nearly impossible to be certain. My own cycle runs about 33 to 34 days, yet my ovulation window hit on December 12th—who would have thought?! It’s anyone's guess. You just have to wait until you either don't get it or you finally do, and then you'll have your answer. I realize the waiting game is agonizing, but that is quite literally the only way to get a definitive answer to your question.😘

yeah...
the last one started on August 28th, and the one before that was July 22nd.
driftingseal3 said:Roughly how long are your cycles?
And regarding that mucus you noticed, it could very well be 😬

No way, I know exactly what mine looks like versus what his does 😬
And honestly, I have no clue how long my cycles are; they’re so erratic that "irregular" doesn't even begin to cover it. I can't even come up with an average if I tried...👎
Since I'm not getting any replies on my other thread, I figured I'd just post this here:

Based on my math, ovulation should be starting around September 14th, but my cycles are pretty irregular. We had some action last night—everything stayed inside me, so I didn't think much of it since I assumed I wasn't even in my fertile window yet. But then today, I noticed a lot of discharge, exactly the kind you get during ovulation. Does this mean I'm actually in my fertile days after all????
Sorry for being such a mess with this post, but if anyone can make sense of what I'm asking, please let me know

Last night we 😁... well, let's just say everything went inside me, and I figured it was no big deal since I didn't think I was in my fertile window anyway. But then today, I noticed a lot of discharge—the exact kind you get during ovulation. Does this mean I’m actually in my fertile days after all????
Sorry for rambling like this, but if anyone can make sense of what I'm asking, please let me know 😕
Living with HPV in Health ·
It hit me so hard that I was stuck in a total funk for days, just obsessing over whether it was going to be another long, rainy season of feeling miserable. I honestly thought I’d never bounce back from it. It’s finally starting to lift, but I can still feel the virus lingering in my system. Now, I’m just focusing on boosting my immune system and staying calm—not letting anything get under my skin. That’s really all there is to it.
Mosquito bites and stings in Health ·
I had one bite me on the thigh once too. It got pretty nasty and swollen, and the itching was intense, but it all cleared up after a few days....it wasn't actually that big of a deal
How often should I be washing my hair? in Health ·
I wash my hair every two or three days using L'Oréal shampoo specifically formulated for oily hair. It still feels incredibly greasy😳
I spent this entire past year being a total hypochondriac—I felt like something was wrong with me every single day! I went as far as getting tested for HIV, hepatitis, and syphilis, and I had every ultrasound under the sun just to be safe. It wasn't until I finally got the all-clear on everything that I could actually start to relax. It’s such a nasty feeling...
Urinalysis: What to expect? in Health ·
they absolutely screwed me over 😲 I get the chills every time I hear a word ending in -polis 😱
Trouble waking up in the morning in Health ·
Ugh, same here. I’ve been feeling completely drained all day long, and honestly, right now I'm so exhausted I can barely keep my eyes open. And of course, I actually have to get to work... ufff, life is just relentless sometimes.
How to remove genital warts? in Health ·
darkbison63 said:I’ve already been through the freezing process and picked up some cream, but honestly? It feels like a waste of time. The problem is that the virus just stays lodged in your skin, which basically means I’m sentenced to a life of celibacy. Fuck HPV. On top of that, I can't stop spiraling about whether I accidentally passed it to someone during the incubation period. I just want my life back... this whole thing is a total nightmare. 🙂

Do you have any idea how many sexually active people actually carry HPV? My partner and I are both in that boat, and honestly, it’s impossible to pinpoint who passed what to whom, so what are we supposed to do now? Just go out and end it all? And I can't believe someone written this is only 29 years old! Acting like you're somehow sentenced to a lifetime of celibacy... please. You've basically just condemned yourself.😬
Thinking about trying drugs in Health ·
Larry Wells2 said:So, I'm writing this because I'm planning on trying drugs for the first time. I'm 17 and a junior in high school. Just a heads-up: don't bother trying to talk me out of it, because I'm going to do this regardless of whatever stupid comments you leave. I guess I've just reached a point where I feel like I've done everything else and I want to try something new. To be clear, I haven't even touched weed yet. I have zero interest in smoking that. But all my friends are into speed now, and now this other friend is pushing us to try cocaine. Money isn't the issue. I'm just stuck on what to actually go with, so I wanted to hear about your experiences. What's the best way to get a real high without being a total zombie for 24 hours? I'm thinking about doing something Saturday night so that by maybe 2 or 3 in the morning on Sunday, I'm somewhat functional, though I still want the experience to actually hit.

Kid is acting like a total child.🤣
I’m really not familiar with this whole 'new French approach' 🤣
But I do know a handful of natural remedies that I much prefer using over pills or topical creams.

If you’re dealing with an ingrown toenail that's getting infected, an onion slice left on overnight can actually help. For open wounds, a mixture of wormwood, olive oil, and lard helps them heal way faster. If you've got bladder issues, try parsley tea or almond skin tea. For warts, people swear by fig milk or egg whites, and I think I read somewhere that certain berries can help with conjunctivitis, though I can't recall exactly which ones... For the flu, it’s the classic honey and lemon combo, plus wrapping your neck in a cloth soaked in bourbon.

As far as skincare goes, I stick to an old-school scrub made from equal parts sea salt and olive oil. 😍
Honestly, why are you even stressing about how the doctors will perceive you? They've seen way worse than whatever you're going through.
