I’ve been reading some of the comments from certain colleagues lately—stuff like, "When we start hiring more women, we should make sure to ask if they have a boyfriend" 😠 or even worse, "It would be better to just hire lesbians because they definitely won't end up getting pregnant" 😲. Honestly, it's just pathetic... 😠
I am just so incredibly exhausted—like, beyond drained. People who didn't realize I was pregnant thought I was just being moody or totally unmotivated.

Now that everyone knows—because news travels at lightning speed in an office—I’ll mention how tired I am, and my manager just gives me this blank stare and snaps, "Oh, you're sleepy? You've only been pregnant for a month, don't be dramatic." 😲😲😲 Yeah, right, because she clearly knows exactly how I feel better than I do 🙄

On another note, I've already dealt with some ridiculousness. While my regular OBGYN was away on vacation, I noticed some brownish discharge and figured I might have a yeast infection. I went to see the doctor covering his practice, and the nurse there flat-out refused to see me. 😲 She claimed they only squeeze in pregnant patients if they are actively bleeding. Seriously? If I were actually bleeding, I wouldn't be sitting in a waiting room at a community clinic; I'd be heading straight to the ER. 🙄 When I vented to my coworkers about it, they lost it on my behalf, telling me I should have fought harder to be seen. But whatever, I just went to a private specialist the very next day. He saw me without any issues, and I even got to hear the baby's heartbeat for the first time. 😍
I think that, even if M is running a bit behind schedule, if that test comes back negative, then there’s just no pregnancy...
granitesailor15 said:yeahhh... ugh😁...I am just over the moon😁

Honestly, I'm just thrilled the test came back positive

And look, even if you are pregnant, you have no idea how many women would give anything to be in your shoes right now 😉
Joseph Murphy6, I honestly don't get it either—how can you have two positive tests and still not be pregnant?!
Patrick Moore38 said:Hey, I’m dealing with something similar—my period is over ten days late, but my pregnancy test came back negative. For the last three days, I’ve been running a fever of about 99°F; it wasn't just a slight rise, either, it absolutely wiped me out. I'm exhausted and dealing with nausea too. Given that the test was negative, could this fever be causing the delay, or is it actually a symptom of pregnancy despite the result?
thanks

My test showed a positive after only three days of being late, but if you're more than 10 days out and it's still showing negative, I don't think you're pregnant if it's a negative
Uh, I’m already two days late, so I’m starting to hope for a positive result 😍 but I think I’ll give it another couple of days just to be sure. If nothing shows up by then, I’m heading straight to the clinic to get a test 😍
Am I a hypochondriac? in Health ·
Brian Campbell6 said:Now my knees and elbows have started acting up (or maybe I'm just losing it)

Oh, you're definitely losing it—like, totally!!! For me, it all kicked off about two years ago when I caught a really nasty flu, and along with it, I ended up getting genital herpes 😲 and mouth ulcers; basically, my immune system just completely bottomed out. I think I got so terrified by the whole thing that I started having breathing issues, and then I read somewhere that those could be early warning signs of a heart attack, so then my chest started feeling tight. Because I was under so much stress, I actually ended up with a CIN 1 result on a Pap smear (just a gynecological thing), which sent me spiraling into thinking I had hepatitis or even AIDS because I'd read that those were symptoms 🙄. I went and tested for everything imaginable—HIV, hepatitis, syphilis, you name it—and I could only find any peace once the results came back negative, but then another issue would pop up... until one day I ended up in the ER because of nausea I’d essentially manifested and chest tightness so bad that the doctor had to give me an injection and some anti-anxiety meds. She told me I was physically fine and that I was just suffering from extreme anxiety 😲, so after starting the medication, I slowly began to pull myself together....

Ugh, I don't even want to think about that period of my life, brrr 😱, and the worst part is, once you start obsessing over something, it really takes hold of you 😲
Just go grab something to help you relax and try to stay positive! And please, stop Googling every single symptom; it's honestly pointless.
What causes a strong smell in semen? in Health ·
Henry Thompson8 said:@Thomas Roberts9 Of course I’m worried—and frankly, the smell is revolting. I’m even starting to fear it might be something serious. Besides, the thought of some doctor shoving tubes into me during an exam... it’s a nightmare. 😲

@Alexander Hall43 Look, some women just nail it. They're practically pros. You can tell when everything around you is soaked. 😁

Look, I get it. A colonoscopy absolutely terrified me too, but I had to go back in for another one regardless. 🙄Just suck it up and get through those few minutes.

Olivia Green46 said:I have to admit, I’m actually terrified of going to see my doctor. I'm just scared she'll take one look at me and tell me that this needs surgery, too... 😢

I hear you loud and clear.😢 I’ve already gone under the knife twice for this, and honestly, I should have known better than to try a third time with some local "natural healer." She was out there digging at my nail beds until they were bleeding, promising a miracle, and all it did was provide a temporary fix before everything went right back to how it was... 😢
Honestly, my podiatrist is the only reason I didn't lose my mind over this. Once he showed me the right technique for trimming that edge, everything changed. Now, the second I feel even the slightest bit of pressure building up in that spot, I just go in and trim it myself before it turns into a whole thing...

Bivacin actually works wonders for that kind of infection; at least, it did for me...
Look, don't go shoving your finger in there; that’s just asking for trouble. Instead, once you're back home, just apply a little bit of the cream and leave your foot bare to breathe. It was way easier for me since it was summer—I could just slather it on and head outside—but you can definitely make it work like this too...
Sex is fine, but my OBGYN says no?! in Women's Health ·
Carol Scott98 said:I went to see my OB-GYN before I was even sexually active—back when my little girl saw her 😁—all because of some pains and hormonal imbalances.
If I could get through it at just 16 years old, I honestly have no idea what these 26-year-olds are so worked up about.🤷

It’s not so much fear as it is them thinking there’s no point in going before getting pregnant.😲
I can somewhat empathize with being scared, since I felt the same way, but thinking it’s unnecessary? No matter how hard I try, I just cannot wrap my head around that logic...
Sex is fine, but my OBGYN says no?! in Women's Health ·
Carol Scott98 said:I know this one girl who is actually a registered nurse, and yet she has NEVER stepped foot in an OB-GYN's office (she’s in her mid-20s). To her, sex is just... whatever. Condoms? No thanks! This is someone who claims to see a gynecologist regularly (meaning, she talks about it), but she never actually goes.
And her big excuse is basically, "If my mom/aunt/grandma/neighbor (honestly, I don't even know who she's talking about) didn't go until they were 40, then why should I?" 😲 😱

Then there's another horror story right in my circle—a 26-year-old who has had several partners and is currently in a long-term relationship, but has never had an exam. She actually thinks you don't need to visit a doctor unless you're trying to get pregnant. 😂🙄 It's ridiculous, honestly.

Another one—23 years old, hasn't gone for an exam because she's terrified 😕, despite being sexually active for years now.

I just don't get it. I went for my first checkup as soon as I became sexually active, and even before that, I already understood most of the things girls today are still out here confused about.
It's shameful! 👎
Wedding cakes and desserts in Weddings ·
I was at this wedding recently and had the most incredible cake. It had these thin layers of sponge on the top and bottom, but the middle was just packed with this rich almond cream. Honestly, it was so good I couldn't help myself and ended up having two slices. 😁
I really feel like flavor is what actually matters here. Who cares about how fancy the decoration looks when you're just going to slice right through it anyway? 😍
Blood on the toilet paper in Health ·
Hannah Martinez8 said:I’m 21 years old, and for about three or four years now, I’ve been seeing small spots or streaks of bright red blood on the toilet paper every few days. A couple of years back, my primary doctor suggested it might be a fissure. Later, another physician suspected internal hemorrhoids and referred me to a specialist; after a manual exam, he concluded nothing seemed unusual, suggesting they were likely internal hemorrhoids and advising a simple change in diet. About seven months ago, I saw a new doctor who sent me to a dermatologist. The dermatologist diagnosed some external inflammation and prescribed various creams, but neither helped. Recently, after dealing with some harder stools, there was a bit more bleeding than usual. Otherwise, it’s just those occasional little spots or thin lines of bright blood every few days. It isn't particularly painful—just some itching or a slight sting sometimes after using the bathroom. Since I spend most of my day sitting while studying for college, I wonder if that plays a role. I know people deal with much worse, yet this is weighing on my mind quite heavily. What should I do? They haven't agreed to send me for a colonoscopy.

Based on what you're describing, it sounds like classic hemorrhoids. Look, a colonoscopy can be a pretty unpleasant procedure, but it’s the only way to see every single millimeter inside your system so you can finally get a definitive diagnosis. You need to push for that referral...
Vaginal health issues – any advice? in Women's Health ·
Linda Rodriguez38 said:I'm having issues on the outer part of my vulva, right by the perineum... it feels like there's this excess skin that swells up during intercourse, creating a sort of blister or bubble that burns incredibly badly and just makes everything uncomfortable...
This has happened a few times over the last year, but lately, it’s been happening more frequently, so I'm heading to the gynecologist next week. In the meantime, I was wondering if anyone knows what this could be or if you've dealt with anything similar? It's my first time experiencing this and I honestly have no clue what's going on...😕
Otherwise, everything is fine—sex itself is great—but that specific area of skin gets irritated, swells, and burns from the friction, and man...
It's so frustrating because I have no idea what the cause is or how to fix it...😢

For me, the skin always ends up cracking in that spot, which leads to some minor bleeding, but I don't really let it worry me too much.🤷

I just finished watching 😍
It’s about what I mentioned in the title 😁. It basically jumps between different couples—they don't actually know each other or have anything to do with one another—showing everything from that very first date all the way through to the bedroom. I won't spoil too much more, you should definitely check it out

Personally, one negative result was enough for me. Whether it was HIV, hepatitis, syphilis, or any of those other issues. I didn't bother going back for a second test 🤷 because was I really supposed to?
