Greetings... I am looking for a facility where I could undergo a complete medical checkup.. Bloodwork, EKG, lungs, heart, liver....
St. Catherine or maybe somewhere in Washington, D.C. ...what options and which specialists would you recommend in the area? Male... Thank you in advance
To anyone owning a device with a cellular module or chip It really needs to have a standard SIM slot inside, not just one for data... I’m currently using some Huawei model, I think it’s a T3 or maybe a T5... an 8zolla... It sits right in the kitchen... My wife uses it to listen to the radio and look up recipes... It has a standard SIM card installed... It handles regular calls perfectly fine... Though, honestly, it's just easier to talk through a Bluetooth headset...
That tablet is useful for everyone in the house. Whoever needs it can grab it and use it (the kids, my wife, myself, guests...). When we head out on road trips or go to the coast, it acts as a mobile hotspot because the battery life is excellent)
So, basically, just make sure it has a SIM slot and you're all set... Some tablets only offer Wi-Fi connectivity
It’s the exact same thing the previous posters left for me
Whenever I feel like my time is running out, I head down to the casino and put it all on black... haha If I actually win, I just keep playing until everything is gone... haha
Are you heading out to Germany? Are you an electrician, electricgull63? It seems that whenever our people arrive... they believe they can handle everything... effortlessly. Haha.
Could you please be more specific about what exactly is on your mind? Do I want to work on electrical wiring at home? Or perhaps attempt to wire up a motor? I am still weighing my options.
Buy a standard extension cord. Get a NEMA 5-15P plug (the male end you need). Strip off the existing US plug and wire in the NEMA 5-15P yourself... It takes about five minutes. The tools required: Wire strippers A Phillips head screwdriver A utility knife
If he were actually acting like a parent, which he isn't... he would have let you keep control of the apartment during the legal dispute... I suspect you’d even let him enjoy staying in that place whenever he flies in from overseas for a week or two... It's clear he belongs to an older generation, and those old-school, stubborn ways still drive his behavior...
But watching your child—who is married now, mind you—struggle through life and bounce between rental apartments while their father shows off elsewhere, only to show up for a weekend in an 85sq ft space, is just pathological to me... Instead of letting you all use the apartment, he should rent a small studio for himself so he can have his own privacy when he visits... if he can't manage to set aside $100, then he's being completely selfish... Anyway... You shouldn't have signed away your portion of the inheritance...
Let me add an edit while I'm still thinking about this:
Sit down and have a serious talk with him. - Suggest that you and your husband move into the apartment (let the place stay in his name until he passes away). - Or suggest he takes just one bedroom when he visits for a few days (what kind of father can't share a home with his own child and her husband?). - He should rent a studio for himself. - Or, if you really want to resolve this, offer to pay that $100 for his studio yourself (it's probably easier than what you're doing now—you're likely paying at least $200 plus utilities).
Or the final option: have him sell the property immediately and split the proceeds fifty-fifty... but he won't, because he needs to be the "boss," as they say... blah, blah...
Personally, I would give him an ultimatum. Tell him that since you and your husband have nowhere to live, or if you find yourself unemployed and unable to cover rent, you'll be moving in with him. After all, that apartment is yours just as much as it is his... even though he played you, since you're the one who gave up your rights... In any case, I am on your side. As for him—he should be ashamed of how he's acting. What has he even achieved after all these years?
Well, we’ve all seen the headlines gone they found her, so that’s that
The real question remains: where was she actually being held? What really happened behind the scenes? The news outlets aren't providing any more details beyond this point
Still, I suppose we should just thank God she’s safe and sound
If four moderators can't grasp the value of this discussion, then the whole thing is a lost cause. Edward Taylor shouldn't be the one unlocking threads. And you, loneraven25, feel free to lock this topic over at MIT.
It doesn't matter. That specific data point was important to me for other reasons, which is why I started these threads in the first place... but what's done is done. I apologize if I have offended anyone... we will continue to be acquaintances here.
Whether this topic is considered "childish" or not... it shouldn't matter much.
If I have a question, I assume I'm allowed to ask it.
I stated quite clearly that I have no interest in bickering; my only goal is to see what people are driving.
I haven't even commented on why anyone would be satisfied with their vehicles or anything of the sort.
I am simply curious about what everyone drives.
That is all there is to it.
I fail to see any reason to lock this thread. Those who want to answer may do so. Those who don't can just skip it and move on.
I noticed that such things aren't permitted on this subforum, I suppose... Yet, I started a similar thread on the mobile phone subforum, where I am very active, and it functions without any issues. When someone buys a new phone, they simply post it in the thread, and that's the end of it. I intended for the vehicle discussions to work the exact same way. Clearly, you all dislike it, so you are locking the thread. Feel free to lock it then. I honestly held a higher opinion of this group. Especially you, Michael Lee4. Regards.
I actually have something for you I’ll give it to you for free if you happen to be from NYC It is essentially a brushed goat skin I just need to track one down somewhere first If you are interested, send me a PM
