So, I'll just grab a banana right after training, then hit the whey protein about 15-20 minutes later, and skip the dextrose entirely.
Sweet, thanks. I'm such a stickler about my diet that honestly, having to dump two tablespoons of sugar into my protein shake makes me feel sick😛.....I'd much rather save those calories for something actually worth eating😁
Can I just swap out the dextrose for a banana and some raisins? I was thinking instead of the usual shake with whey, dex, and half a liter of water, I could just toss a banana and a handful of raisins into a blender, mix it all up, and drink that instead.
Is there a way to make a number line in Word, and if so, how?
I need to build a number line up to 100, split into three sections... actually, whatever, that’s not even the main point. The big thing is I need to be able to stack little vertical tick marks along a horizontal line. You know the drill, you've seen what a number line looks like.
Hey moderators... if everyone is this hyped about a new orient passion thread, why aren't we getting one!?!?
The whole point of this forum is to talk about stuff we actually care about!
It might sound crazy, but a lot of us are feeling a bit lost right now. Our series just wrapped up yesterday and we need each other to decompress 😍 (I know it sounds weird, but just logging on here to read everyone's takes makes me feel better 😍 even though I'm still nine episodes behind and haven't commented yet).
It’s just not fair to leave most of us hanging just because of a few people, PLEASE!
Hope you don't mind me starting a new thread here.
I've been feeling like garbage for three days straight. The night before last, I suddenly hit this wall of dizziness—I couldn't even focus on a conversation without getting totally wiped out and spinning more. Honestly, the only thing that helped was closing my eyes in a quiet, dimly lit room. My blood pressure check came back normal, but then a few minutes later, my arms and legs just felt heavy and weak.
The second day was just pure exhaustion and weakness. Yesterday I finally got blood work done, and guess what? EVERYTHING is fine. Which is actually depressing because I was really hoping it was just an iron deficiency...
Just a bit of context: I’m breastfeeding a 6-month-old, and the night before last, I had my first period since being pregnant. My doctor says it's just a massive hormonal shift and tells me to drink more water... but what do you guys think? How long does this phase actually last? Today is day four.
If I'm actually missing something essential, wouldn't that show up in my blood work? Does that mean vitamins won't even help, or am I wrong??
Sophia Wells72 said:It’s possible. Honestly, I can’t even stand up too fast—like when I'm out at the beach in the summer—without seeing stars and nearly collapsing. It knocks the wind right out of me. Especially if I've skipped a meal or haven't stayed hydrated. Just lights out. 😉
Just drink more water and grab a decent snack. 👍
Thanks for the advice, everyone. Since this could be from iron deficiency after giving birth recently, or just low blood pressure, I'm going to start taking my iron supplements, drinking tons of water for the pressure, and following all the other tips you guys shared. I just really hope this doesn't happen again because it feels absolutely TERRIBLE.
Carol Rodriguez16 seriously, once you drop that recipe on the forum, just DM it to me too so I don't have to hunt through this entire site looking for it. 🙂
Also, besides chugging water, what else can I do to stop this from happening again? Any tips on what to eat or avoid when my blood pressure hits the floor?
You guys helped calm me down, though I was already spiraling. But seriously, can my blood pressure really get so low that I feel like I’m about to pass out? It felt like everything was going dark, like the floor just vanished from under me until I grabbed the sink for dear life. At least I had enough sense to splash some water on my face to snap out of it, which helped, but if that had happened while I was driving on the highway, I would've been a total wreck.
It could be anything from that list you mentioned. My iron was super low toward the end of my pregnancy, and my discharge papers said to take supplements, but I barely touch them because they absolutely wreck my digestion.
If I had to guess, I’d bet on low blood pressure. But if my pressure dipped around 10 this morning, is there even any point in checking it now? It’s probably already leveled out, right? I grabbed some black tea since I read that the caffeine in it gives you a slow boost, whereas coffee hits you like a freight train—and those sudden spikes are even worse for you.
I gave birth three weeks ago, so I’m still pretty wiped out and exhausted. I’m up every hour or two during the night breastfeeding.
I’m not drinking enough fluids, and even though I try to eat as much as possible, my appetite is basically nonexistent.
My friends stopped by for coffee this morning, and while we were talking, my head just started spinning out of nowhere. I tried to get up to go to the bathroom, but I was stumbling around like I’d had way too many margaritas. Once I got inside, I felt like I was going to collapse, so I grabbed the sink and shut my eyes because the vertigo was insane. I turned on the tap, drank some water, and after a minute or two, things started looking better. The dizziness went away, but my arms and legs felt like jelly—I could barely make it back to the living room. Then I laid down, and even though the spinning stopped, I felt incredibly nauseous. Every time I tried to sit back up, the world started tilting again.
I had about a cup of water plus a little sugar water, and an hour or two later, I finally felt human again.
What do you guys think caused that?
I already deal with low blood pressure, and I’ve had dizzy spells before, but never anything this intense where I almost hit the floor.
Hey, quick question: if someone sends you stuff and you pay cash on delivery, do you have to cover the transaction fee too? Or is it just $5.00 the shipping costs and the actual price of the item?
After my period ends, I always get another day or two of this brown discharge. It’s been happening since before my pregnancy and hasn't changed since🤷 I figure it's nothing to worry about, especially since I mentioned it to my OB-GYN and they didn't even blink an eye
I’m praying my period actually shows up today. I just had a baby, so the last thing I need is another little one... at least not right now. Since I’ve only dealt with this once since giving birth, I can’t even remember how it works😁, so does brownish discharge—not yellow, but brown—mean anything? Is my period actually on the way?
A few years back, I had discharge like this about 2 or 3 days after my period ended, but before it started🤔 I honestly don't recall🤷
Sarah Murphy39 said:Why wouldn't the other number work? I'll just ask his parents to double-check the digits and then I'll post them here.
No, it's not that the number is wrong, it's just that it belongs to Goldman Sachs. That works fine if you're using a paper check at a local branch or the post office where you can manually type in a name and address. But when I'm doing everything through online banking, I don't have that option. I need the specific account ID—the one after the dash—which is actually "your" unique identifier. The number listed above is just the bank's general number...
This whole situation is just pathetic. I mean, seriously, who actually has $150,000—let alone $300,000—just lying around? 😲
Also, can we please get a proper account number listed, specifically the second part? You've got the bank info, but then you need the actual number from Nicole....
