The game was solid, really solid, and honestly, first time I've ever seen a prune on a Black man 🤣

Let's just wait for someone else to weigh in first...😉
PC keeps restarting in Desktops ·
The Windows kernel keeps crashing at the exact same spot. Could be a failing hard drive, could be some buggy driver... 🤷 anyone here dealt with this error before? Just hang tight and we'll see...

Could be a weak PSU or just crappy drivers. Is it rebooting or straight up crashing? Just grab Whocrashed, see what it digs up, and dump the results here...

Reddit is down... in Forum Help! ·
Harold Cook2 has said it a dozen times already... this Reddit needs a way better server than what we’re stuck with. This current setup costs a fortune every month, which is just stupid, and then you have the whole nightmare of migrating everything to a new host and all that other crap. We’re just dealing with it because there isn't any other option.

When I try loading Reddit through a proxy site, everything works fine 😕
WTF is going on?!? 🙂

Maybe your DNS path is dead? Setting a static DNS might fix it...🤷

Once they slap a monthly subscription on this place... since fixing this mess would cost a few thousand bucks every single month... that’d probably solve pretty much all the other issues with the forum too...

408 Request Time-out

it’s totally standard... their server is just choking because the traffic is too high, so it's dropping requests...

Andrew Harris said:I'm curious if anyone from the Slough area would be interested in an MMA club, since there isn't one here right now. I heard from a buddy that a new gym might be opening up, run by some guys who have been training in Taekwondo, Hapkido, and boxing for years.

Just wondering if anyone nearby is actually looking into this, because I’d probably join too—would be nice not to be the only one showing up.🙄 ???

As someone living in Modesto, I’d bet money they’ll have a solid turnout within a year if they handle the marketing right—you know, weekend demos and stuff. People around here definitely have an appetite for combat sports.

What’s the name of that martial art where they fight using those long staffs?

Bojutsu? http://www.genbukan.com/contact.html maybe something like that... 🤷

I’m on the younger side, but I’ve been into RHCP since I was four or five. They aren't going anywhere for me... every track just brings back those childhood vibes. 😁

I want actual facts, and you're just tossing links at me.

Pretty sure you're just messing with me.

if you don't think these links are legit, then why don't you point me toward some sites you actually trust regarding this stuff... these seem fine to me 🙂
hard to say from experience since I haven't used it for most things in five years, but that doesn't stop me from hating it every time I have to open it 🙂
go ahead, show me which sites you actually believe, and I'll find the proof 🤷

edit: if you think I'm screwing with you... keep thinking that. Doesn't bother me one bit.

and then there's that whole obsession with adware and malware... hope that's enough for our "distinguished" gentleman here? 🤷

Speaking from experience here. I don't usually bash Microsoft products—I actually use a ton of their stuff, like Windows, Visual Studio, C# (.NET)... nothing to complain about there. But IE? Compared to the competition, it's stuck in the Netscape era. From a dev standpoint, security, or even just basic UX... it's just bad. 🤷

Nicholas King said:Hey, don't go calling Brian Edwards78 a fossil...

BTW, he was being sarcastic about the 5.5 thing 🙂.

I figured it out later... though I honestly don't get why anyone actually uses IE on a daily basis? The only reason I even have it is for some specific Microsoft services that demand it. Everything else goes through Google's Chrome🤷
IE is just limited, buggy, and frankly, pretty crappy
Where can I see all the violations? in Forum Help! ·
If I read that right, it says IE 5.5... how old is that fossil even?
No wonder it’s acting up. HTML has rolled out new standards and tons of new tags at least three times since then. You shouldn't be seeing these issues on Internet Explorer 9,10, though I wouldn't bet my life on it since we're talking about Internet Explorer 🤣... worth a shot though 🤷
